I have eaten at this IHOP for years. No more after tonight. I understand that it is challenging to hire good staff. I have put up with poor service. This was beyond awful. Jake did not know his menu. My friend ordered the 55+ french toat. It did not come with eggs, etc. He came back and redid the order. Jake served up our drinks. We ordered iced tea. I realize freshly brewed iced tea will melt the ice. This tea was not freshly brewed. No ice. He slammed down a glass of ice. (Don't take out your day on me with bad service.) The sandwich I ordered was a hot mess. (I should have taken a photo.) The fries were cold and shriveled up. (Who's plate had they been on? Or where did you sweep them up from?My friend and I tried to call over Jake. He was busy apparently restocking. It could not have been a mad rush. He finally came over to hand us our checks. He never once asked how our food was. My food was still on the plate and he did not ask if I wanted a box. Or if there was something wrong. He started to quickly walk away. I stopped him. I then briefly shared with him about it this so called food. I asked to order something else. I said that the 55+ menu had the turkey sandwich. I have eaten sandwiches off the IHOP menu. I asked if it had slices of turkey. Jake did not answer as when he took the first order. More than 20-some minutes later. I heard Jake ask if my sandwich was ready. It was not. It was slapped together with turkey chunks, mayo slathered all over the top and bottom piece of bread. The sandwich was accessorized with an artificial yellow Kraft American slice. I picked up the sandwich and it fell apart in all of its grossness. It was like Groundhog's day. Jake left the check...Only this time the fries were fresh and hot. I tried two of them. I stood up and the team member had been walking around with no mask had no intention of wearing one. You could tell he was beyond the mandate and beyond any law. I stated that I wanted the sandwich removed from my check and in that he needed to wear a mask. He yelled at me and stated that I have a bad attitude. I told him that I would turn them into King County Board of Health and I have. BTW when we walked into be seated, a team member had his mask fingers rubbing his and up his one nostril. He was working in the kitchen. What do you bet he did not wash his hands. Sickening. Whay hasn't this IHOP been shutdown and put out of business? They do not follow the face mask manadate and other issues, such as allowing people to wait inside the front and not wear mask in the restaurant at all. The team members who have and continue to allow the no mask mandate have worked at this IHOP for years. Tsk. Tsk. The photo is of the team member who yelled at me and was not wearing a mask. No long wait, went in an a Wednesday morning. Food was okay and pretty cold (minus the pancakes). Bacon could not be chewed through at all. Super old and hard/ tasted spoiled. I received the check with my meal. Everyone else got it when they finished their meal. Couldn't finish my meal, feeling rushed and bad tasting. Servers were great, the meals were delicious, coffee was hot, & this location met our family of 7 expectations!

$30 ($15 meal, + 1 side +1 drink +tip) per person for breakfast... the food is what you would expect from any IHOP but for that price it's just outrageous and doesn't match the service or quality you receive. If I can make the food myself for $1.50, the service or quality needs to be much more than IHOP for me to pay 20 times that. 20 times is more than a simple convenience fee... read more

The restaurant owner got our car towed. We ate here, went to the park across the street since our 2 year old was super cranky. After he finished playing we came back to have our dinner here again and found our car gone. The restaurant manager was super rude and told us "shut up - you guys didn't follow the rules. We went there for breakfast on a Saturday and I can totally understand that the place is busy on weekends, but still attending every customer equally is their job! We like the food at IHOP, no doubt in that, especially their Mexican Tres Leches pancakes, but service also plays a vital role in making an OK restaurant into a GOOD restaurant. Soon after getting a table we placed our drinks order for a coffee and their Halloween special hot chocolate. 5 minutes later our server rushed to our table, placed the drinks and rushed back without waiting even for a second to ask if we needed anything else. The reason I say this is because the moment she kept our drinks, we wanted to tell her that it wasn't our order. But she didn't even wait for a second. I tried calling her several times, asked other servers that it wasn't what I ordered but nobody did anything. After waiting 10 minutes, she finally came with our correct drinks. In food, we had ordered the Mexican Tres Leches pancakes and Chicken Fajita omelette. Now, we have had many items from IHOP and we feel that these pancakes is the best dish they have on their menu. If you're also a condensed milk lover just like us, then you are sure to love these pancakes as well. Most of their omelette are pretty consistent in taste. So it totally depends on what kinda mood you're in. We like their chicken fajita omelette because of the sour cream and salsa combination! Another thing I'd like to mention about their service is that the moment they bring your food, they your check as well which I felt is rude, I mean I haven't even started eating yet. Also when we were finally done eating, one of us was in the restroom, while the other one was waiting. They told us to just pay and clear the table and wait for them at the waiting area. Me and friends just wanted some food, I called to see which Ihop they was at, the lady that answer the phone was highly disrespectful and hung up on me (Horrible customer service) I called back and she was still rude, trying to blame it on how busy they was. I rarely visit IHOP, but this location was very close to the hotel we stayed in and it was nice to know what would be on the menu when I got inside. I walked in, got greeted by two employees, got seated quickly, and immediately asked if I knew what I wanted to drink. Coffee of course! If you go here, sit in 'Han's' section, she was fast, efficient, friendly and got me everything I needed without having to even ask! This ihop will always be my go to place for some amazing chocolate chip pancakes!! It seems like every breakfast place isn't doing just plain chocolate chip pancakes anymore! It brings me back to childhood. When you're craving a sweet breakfast and know you will get exactly what you order, just like the picture ihop will never disappoint! I've been coming to this location for over 5 years and they have never failed me. All the staff is great and super attentive. I have always been seated within reasonable time no matter the size of the party. The food comes out to your table in great time and the food is always great. Called once to tell them I was here for my curbside pick up. Hung up on me. Called again told them about my pick up and then she asked me to hold a bit and then came back and proceeded to reask me the same question again. To be fair she apologized. Its now been 12 mins past my pickup estimated time. Finally i walked inside. And asked for my order and its been sitting there the whole time. Minimal seating because of covid as of now. I wish they had vegan options on their menu but I don't hold that against the location - and most people probably won't have this problem anyway. I had to wait for a family member to get out of their appointment at Swedish hospital (only a block away) and ihop was the only thing open - thank god somewhere was. The staff is very friendly and was doing their best even with some rude customers. The food is typical Ihop - nothing spectacular, but if you're going for what you expect it's great. Extremely disappointed with the subpar food quality and will not EVER return to IHOP. Ordered Salsa with the Omelette and it was not included. The Mushrooms and Tomatoes had an odd slimy texture and the Avocado was brown. I was hoping for Strawberry Crepes so I ordered the new "Berry Crepes" with strawberries only (minus Blueberries and Berries.) The Strawberries were not fresh and had a leathery texture, The inner-cores were not removed and still had pieces of the green stem attached. Pancakes and Crepes had a peculiar "chemical taste." My partner has been in and out of the restroom with vomiting and diarrhea and had to call in sick to work. I am feeling slightly nauseated, but I only ate a couple bites of Crepe and threw the rest in the trash. We are beyond disappointed and have NO DESIRE to EVER return to IHOP. I had a disturbing experience with an individual who presented herself as a manager but avoided providing a name, although explicitly requested. I had my dog with proper ID; however, interaction discussing the situation could be best referred to as hostile or harassing. My impression was either the individual was expressing hatred against the dog or ethnic minorities. The harassment continued when I went inside to tell our party that I was leaving because of the experience, and here she showed up again, threatening the server NOT to take any orders and asking us to leave. Very disturbed and disappointed. There could be policies, protocols, and even rules about a business, and we all respect that; what separates winners and others is communication and attitude. Unfortunately, hard-working crews are keeping these places running. I consider this IHOP location well kept considering it's a central location. It has it's own limited parking lot, and it's a reliable option for late night food. The service was fantastic, and the food was good. We had a breakfast combo of pancakes, french toast, sausage, bacon, and eggs. They even split it up on for us. We each had a beverage, and I added a white toast. I dropped a star for price because I can't believe one breakfast meal that we split resulted in a check just under $30. I really couldn't believe an order of white toast was $4. I am just amazed that the tab was that much for breakfast. read more

What a let down. It was... STALE.... The link sausages. Were ok. My husbands food LOOKED OK. His pancakes were beautiful.. But. Unfortunately his food was less than mediocre and his pancakes were way too sweet. I ate half of the pancake that was at the bottom (no sauce on it). And that was good. I've been to this location a handful of times now and feel I can fairly say the staff are consistently really sweet. They don't rush you. My first time here it was super busy and the waitress was still able to make time for me. I here for the pancakes since even the basic ones are super fluffy. The elaborate dessert Sunday versions are really good. The quality of the not bread based foods ranges from average to above average. It's a diner food chain. For me this food quality is exactly what I expect. What is really important to me for a more casual chain location is the atmosphere and service. This one is perfect. read more
