Sunday came to eat order breakfast for two and it was the worst service. The food was garbage eggs were watery. Ill never come back.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT - NO GLUTEN FREE OPTION If I can give this rating anything lower than a 1 I would. My sister and her family and a few other families went to this IHOP because of the gluten free options they offer. My sister is highly allergic to gluten, and will fall ill and need to be rushed to the hospital if ingested. So very highly allergic. We not only wait awhile to be seated, already waited awhile just to have our orders taken, only to find out some time after ordering that they do not have Gluten Free Bread, and their omelet is mixed with Pancake mix which is obviously not Gluten Free! If we didn't ask the server to make sure and double check and ensure that the bread is indeed Gluten Free, who knows what would have happened? Why have Gluten Free options if you don't have Gluten Free OPTIONS!!! We waited for an hour just to find out she couldn't eat there, so all of us left. This upsets all of us and we all left. Started off with a rushing waiter by the name of Jessica , who had 4 tables in the whole restaurant. Apparently, everyone else got her full attention but when it came to me , her time was too valuable when it came to ask for the IHOP guest wifi. She pulled out pen, tried to scribble it on her note book and when I couldn't figured it out, she brushed me off by saying " I'm running behind! I'll be back!" The food was cold, even though tasty. This restaurant is always extremely full. They took 2 hours to bring us our food. On top of that, they took a long time bringing us the bill! Not to mention they "require" vaccination cards, yet they let the people in front of us go through without presenting it. What is the point if they will let anyone through? Terrible service: - rude waitress. i told her that my order came wrong. They gave me a side of hash browns when I asked for a side of potatoes. Instead of solving the problem, she looks at me, giggles, and asks me, "are you sure?" I didn't even know what to say no waitress has ever questioned me about a mistake on their part. - my friend spilled water on accident. & a waitress that was nearby literally just threw a bunch of napkins on the table. The driving distance from Denver to Albuquerque in time is approximately 7 hours. My family makes this trip numerous times each year. Tradition is that when we are going from ABQ to DEN we always start the driving day with breakfast at the Frontier on Central. When we are traveling from DEN to ABQ we hit the IHOP on S. Parker. That is the only time I EVER eat in the International House of Pancakes. Until today. I had to run across the bridge to Richmond to pick up something and found myself in strange territory and starving. So, what would any good adventureous in-a-hurry-idiot do but run into IHOP for pancakes. We all make mistakes. THINGS I LIKED: * Bottomless fresh large oj - except, I finished mine and no one offered me more * Good buttermilk pancakes * Decent coffee, and plenty of it * Waiter who was busting his butt to serve too many tables * Great people watching place, if you are alone THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE: * Trouble seating patrons quickly because only one side of the restaurant was open * The side that was open was full - every table & booth * The management, kitchen, busing & wait staff seemed to outnumber the patrons, even 4 or 5 hanging out back smoking * Only one waiter appeared to be seriously working - thought he should get all those salaries, since he was doing most of the work * Restrooms needed a little tender loving care . . . and a good cleaning * While I was waiting for a seat, the "hostess" & manager were carrying on an animated conversation at the front - not good I had a decent meal. I love this place because everytime we go to the mall late at night we are able to stop here for dinner! Besides the fact that no IHOP ever has the Apple Crisp when i want it (and I don't think its even on the menu any more) I love the choice of food! But this place could use a lot more friendlier customer service and some serious spring cleaning!! read more

This place does not even deserve a star, we been going here for years and the service has gone from bad to worst, theres a constant sitting problem which the hostess always have that dont know how to manage their waiting list, on top of that they are rude, since when does a hostess tells a client "if you dont like it you can leave" just for asking how much longer for our table, and what is worst we hear that from a manager tell that to a client that was sitting and eating, it is ridiculous how this company allows this to happened, we are paying customers without the customer you have no business, people come here to enjoy a nice breakfast with family and friends and dont need to hear this from the employees, if the service was better people wouldn't have the need to be complaining. read more

A+ for service - people who leave a huge impression from the moment I step in until the moment I leave - is a huge plus and will certainly have me come back to experience more. Kenneth, my server, was pleasant the entire way through. I sat long enough to see him interact with the cook, other customers, and he treats everyone the way you would want, with respect. The customer service here is typically great. But i always see our servers in such a rush because they're in need of more help. Tonight is Halloween i believe they are having "free scary face pancakes" for the kids, only 2 servers working and running around. Our first 45 minutes of being here our waitress was by herself. The cook from the back had to come take our drink order after we waited for 20 minutes. This isn't on the servers it's on the management. If you're having a promo that includes something free... Been to IHOP plenty of times so this review is based solely on this experience of this time at this IHOP. First we were told we would have to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated and we were fine with that. After about 20, I go in and ask about how much longer it may be. I'm told it may be another 10 minutes as another 3 parties were in front of us. Okay. No one comes to take an order for drinks for at least 20 minutes after being seated. After finally ordering, we did not receive silverware until a couple minutes after the food had arrived. I ordered an additional egg with the 2 that came with my breakfast, but for some reason that egg came (cold) after I was done eating. Replaced my pancakes with a waffle but that came after the main breakfast too. Would not recommend this IHOP. read more

Great food. Excellent service. Offered enough boxes to pack food to go after my eyes were much bigger than my stomach. Made sure I didn't have an empty soda. Asked if I needed anymore condiments or syrup for the food I had to pack up. Came here on Christmas day since it was the only thing open. I haven't been to an ihop in forever since it's never been a place you crave for delicious food. I think it's always just been "convenient" food. Big mistake, we should have just ate at Mc Donald's for half the price with better food. The floor is slippery and dirty. The wait to be seated took 45min-1hr. We asked the server for an extra plate but she took forever to bring it out, the food was already done. It took forever to get the check. I ordered the "ihop strawberry banana pancakes". They came without bananas, and the server said they forgot that and she would bring it right out. She never did. They never brought out syrup with my pancakes either which seemed odd especially given this is a pancake place. I flagged down someone else and he eventually brought some sliced bananas and said "sorry we are out of this, but got you some"...not sure how that works, and made me wonder where they "found" them. They didn't keep social distance with tables as they sat someone directly next to our booth. The prices were very expensive for cold and wrongly made pancakes. From time to time we come here because everyone can get pancakes the way they like them. Fruit, no fruit, toppings, no toppings, plus the other breakfast oriented foods like eggs or toast or different meats. Seating usually isn't a problem as the restaurant is fairly large. Service tends to be average, with a very mild whiff of disinterest. Plate sizes are pretty decent for the prices and the taste of the food is always good or better. What I can't put my finger on though is a subtle air of something being slightly weird. Nothing really stands out as a problem, it just feels like this location has no energy or vibe to it. Like if you don't bring your own vibe, this would be a great dull place to take a nap except you are here to eat. Thankfully, again, the food is always at least good or better. read more

I'm thinking) once seated the table had no condiments( syrup, salt,pepper, etc.) the waitress noticed and said she will return and being utensils as well about 15 minutes had past and she had not returned nor had re order any food or drinks. The IHOB marketing worked, it got me in the door. I was curious about the burgers, so I went on the site. Then I saw one of their international pancake offerings - the Belgium Chocolate Pancakes. Yep I'm going! This IHOP has 3 stars as the majority of the reviews say the service sucks and the food is good. My experience is the same. I ordered the 1/2 order of chocolate pancakes for $4.29 or something like that. I got 2 pancakes and it was tasty. Pancakes weren't nothing special, but the chocolate cream and whip cream made the dish. I think a full order of this dish is $9.99 or $10 something, so it's cheaper to get two 1/2 orders. read more

Now the manager states that had a inspection last last not sure how that means it's ok to have roaches. My stomach hurts and I'm scared as heck. Came for my sons 8th birthday, asked if they did anything special for birthdays. Guy says we give a free kids sundae...but only if you have the ihop app and reserve the sundae a week in advance. It's not that serious. Food was alright. Typical eggs and sausage. We only came cause my son loves all the sugar that comes with his pancakes. read more

Okay the food is not the BEST in town but the service at this location is great! Although it was a weekday the place was packed and there was constantly a line. Despite the crowds the entire staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive. They kept our water glasses filled, asked people how they were doing, refilled coffee, bussed tables, served the food in a timely manner. The customers were comprised of families (getting in the last vacation meal before school starts). business folk, couples, people dining alone,......everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I am somewhat familiar with working in a restaurant (my dad used to help run one) I was involved with prep, waitressing, cooking, bussing tables, washing dishes; although on a much smaller scale. It is not easy to be constantly friendly, patient and efficient. One thing as a server you are constantly ON The son had chicken and waffles--although tasty he had to chuckle a little that his plate looked a lot smaller than the photo in the restaurant menu. I had the non-meat version of machaca,a Mexican dish I had frequently at one of my favorite LA eateries as a teen and college student. Machaca is made with shredded beef, scrambled eggs, onions. jalapeños, tomatoes m cheese and salsa. I rarely see it on any menu----it came with flour tortillas (two large ones)! It was very satisfying without the need. We shared a carafe of OJ which was probably from concentrate but it was still great. So all in all we had a very pleasant meal. So "humbug" all you IHOP and Richmond haters! note: I think this is my first review even though we have eaten here before while waiting for our car to be serviced at the dealer (when it was still covered by the warranty). read more

Pretty much a classier Denny's. The same food but won't give you the shits. This was going to get pretty low stars because they were not open 24 hours a day but that all changed and it's back in my good graces of breakfast joints. I love their flavored syrups that you can't get any place else so that enhances my pancake, waffle, french toast, etc. Service is slow but if you're with good friends the time flies by quickly. Portions are sort of tiny and the hash browns are pretty soggy with grease so that's why I give it 3 stars. read more
