You can't go wrong with a short stack of pancakes at IHOP, and this location is no different.  Our pancakes were fluffy and golden brown and were delivered fresh off the grill. I was happy to find that the IHOP strawberry syrup is still available; if you've never tried it before, it's yummy and will make you feel like a kid!

How bad can it get? Well GeeZus what is this? I ordered the egg white omelet! When the cook is this bad you never come back!

You tell me what do you think this is...Road kill or the mist expensive th8ng on IHOP menu.

You know what?? I can't be upset with anyone but myself because my experience here the first time told me that I shouldn't had never came back.. First off the server was cool and apologetic and simply doing her job. she wasn't the cook.. Anyways I order the Steak and eggs breakfast that came with pancakes.. My request EGGS over easy. white well cooked. Steak medium rare and pancakes hot and butter not frozen.. Well non of that happen... Eggs came out whites super runny Steak came out looking like someone cooked it on a hot tin roof in the middle of August in the backwoods of Alabama. The pancakes came out just like they always do at IHOP, Luke warm and cold butter that rips the pancake when putting it on the pancakes. Back to the SteakSteak, I kindly let my server know that the Steak didn't look appealing, it looked as if it was tan with no flavor.. So she took it back and came back about 3 minutes later??? Same results but a little more shaded. Anyways I just ask to allow me to pay for the pancakes and coffee...I didn't eat the eggs or steak.. I know that IHOP isn't a Steak house but please don't bring me a piece of meat and tell me it's a steak.. Never again will I endure time wasting of going into this IHOP again... I don't want anything free nor do I want to talk to anyone.

Not a lot of fluff here. It it what it is. I have never understood why a table has to be cleared or cleaned after the previous diners left long before me. The fewer the diners the slower waitstaff seems to get. But I didn't come for fine dining so I was pleased that the BLT and especially the onion rings came out hot with very little wait. I should have combined the sparse BLT ingredients onto one half. I felt like I was eating dry toast. The onion rings redeemed the meal so not a bad meal

I hope management sees this and showers her with kudos. The food was excellent. We ordered: - bacon jam patty melt and street corn. It was delicious and hefty. The street corn was Smokey and spicy. - Gouda cheesesteak - with crispy fries. It was excellent. - Redfish Ponchatrain. It was topped with shrimp and was really enjoyed. Great portion too. - 2 people ordered blackened catfish and both loved it. They're baked potato was huge and loaded, there's sweet potato fries were waffle and delicious and their mashed potatoes and chips and salsa. We're both excellent sides as well. - kiddo had a kids burger and fries and loved it. -I had black and chicken with a side, Caesar salad and the sautéed vegetables and I was not excited but needed to eat something to keep up with my macros, and the chicken was flavorful and delicious, the vegetables were seasoned well, and the salad was wonderful as well. I would 100% get this meal again. The service and food were excellent excellent. We will be back!

We were greeted by a lovely waitress who checked in on us and offered drink refills throughout our visit. The atmosphere felt very family friendly and welcoming. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was solid and satisfying. My guests both had the fried catfish and shrimp combo with mashed potatoes, and after trying both, I have to say those were excellent, honestly, I would choose that over the chicken fried steak next time. Overall, great food, friendly service, and a comfortable casual dining experience. Noticed they have a location in Leander as well, so I'll definitely be stopping by that one in the future!

I also like the layout of this 54th St. because the dining space is spread out and separate from the bar area but there is a lot of bar space as well depending on what you are looking for. This is a newer restaurant so the design and decore is more of a modern elegant look. I like the fact that you can order off of the happy hour menu in the bar or dining area and they have a lot to offer on their happy hour menu, including drinks and appetizers. At the time I visited, they offered a separate menu that allows you to pair up with another diner at your table to order a combination of select meals, appetizers, drinks, and desserts for a really good combination price. We chose a combination that gave us each an alcoholic beverage, a shared appetizer, and two entrées. We shared the gringo dip and chips and for my entrée I had the chicken bucatini. It was a delicious blackened chicken and pasta in an alfredo sauce and it was delicious. My daughter had a soup and sandwich combo. That was a very generous portion for the price point as well. There are definitely deals to be had but more importantly, I found the food and service to be spot on and it didn't break the bank.

We came in on a Saturday afternoon with a group of three and had no wait at all, which was a nice bonus. I'd say this place is a step above your typical neighborhood Applebee's or Chili's, so it's a little pricier than those spots -- but you can taste the difference. For an appetizer, we ordered the chips with Gringo Dip, which is one of my favorites. I usually go with the Rattlesnake Pasta (it has a nice little kick to it), but this time I tried the Gyro Pita with fries. The portions were generous, and the gyro was delicious and very filling. I'm personally not a big fan of lettuce in my gyro, but it didn't take away from the overall flavor.

I order the yard bird. it was an oven baked chicken with veggies. good, but not worth $22. I could've made it at home. everyone else at the table basically ordered pancakes with eggs or French toast because the menu was literally that limited, there was no "oo I want to try that!" moment. The service was great as we were a big party. The staff kept coming to our table to apologize on the long wait times; which was confusing because there was barely anyone in the restaurant... but the parking lot was full? where were all of those people? I don't know. the experience wasn't bad but, it didn't hold up to the standard of whiskey cake that I'm used to. especially for $66. the Katy location was so good, it even smelled like whiskey cake. and I remembered this restaurant brand having more culinary forward items like their blue cheese chips during happy hour. (which i lovedddd) If I'm ever out in Round Rock again, I may give it another try, but it won't be for brunch.
