We flagged it immediately. Today, we returned to follow up and were horrified to learn that Laura had been explicitly told not to use those steaks because they were spoiled--and she served them anyway. Let that sink in. Why wasn't the meat discarded? Why did she knowingly serve it? Is she untrained, negligent, or something worse? And more importantly--why is she still employed? This isn't an isolated incident. Months ago, I stopped in for a quick lunch and became violently ill within the hour. I had to pull over to vomit and missed an important business meeting. I suspected something was off then, and from that point on, I would call ahead to make sure Laura wasn't cooking. Recently, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. There's a level of disregard here that feels personal. When I asked to speak with her after learning about the spoiled meat, the staff refused and smirked like it was a joke. It's not. This could have led to hospitalization--or worse. This is a public health issue. Laura's actions were reckless, and the restaurant's failure to act is inexcusable. I'm mortified, furious, and deeply disappointed. Willy's was once a place I proudly supported. Now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Until there's accountability, I won't be back--and I urge others to think twice before risking their health here.

Jokes of course ensued about whether we were to use our fingers to stir our hot coffee. Later, when our entree's arrived, they had put 2 separate orders onto one plate and even though we requested fruit on the side for our french toast, the fruit was on top of the toast. Instead of trying to help, the hostess told us it wasn't their responsibility to inform customers about the deposit. No apology, no attempt to make it right, just moved on to the next guests while we were left outside figuring out our next move. Later that night, I messaged the business on Yelp hoping to clear things up. The reply I got back felt like an AI-generated template. So careless they even left "Sample Text Below" in the message. That told me everything I needed to know: the staff's behavior is a reflection of the leadership.
