Right in the middle of a major rush, their entire system went down, and instead of things falling apart, John stepped up and led with professionalism, calmness, and efficiency that honestly exceeded expectations. Despite the outage and unsympathetic patrons orders kept moving, food came out quickly, and the team remained polite, organized, and attentive throughout the entire experience. John handled customers with patience and genuine courtesy while simultaneously coordinating the team and keeping operations running smoothly under pressure. What stood out most was the attitude. No excuses, no frustration directed at customers, just outstanding leadership and work ethic during a difficult situation. The level of service they provided would have been impressive even under ideal conditions. At 11:30 at night under a system failure during a rush, it was extraordinary. John demonstrated leadership qualities well beyond his position and operated at a level fit for management either at Wendy's or any business that requires grace under pressure. Wendy's is lucky to have employees like him. Also the place was exceptionally clean.

The burger pattie was huge. Best deal in California. Sure it took a while to get served, but we weren't in any rush anyways. It gave us time to get to know the staff. The nicest people ever. One girl said that there has been fires and backups on the Grape Vine almost every other day. Trucks are just driving too fast and brakes are catching on fire. Finally another customer that had just moved to Frazier Park from Texas comes in for lunch too. So, my advice - if you get stuck on Highway 5 before you hit the Grape Vine, there is an escape route to Koehler's Garden & Restaurant in Frazier Park. And yes, we drove through the small towns of Taft and Maricopa to end up at Buttonwillow on H5. The best part of the trip is that we had great burgers and did not sit in traffic.

However, "Lisa" raised her voice at me and asked what the code was for, even though it was clearly written on my phone. It was very uncomfortable and embarrassing to be treated that way, especially when I was simply asking for assistance. Eventually, she scanned the code and completed my order, but the attitude was very unprofessional. What made it worse was that right after, she was laughing and chatting with another employee, which made the situation feel even more disrespectful. I hope management takes customer service more seriously. This experience left a very bad impression.
