The staff were friendly, very welcoming. We stopped to get a bite to eat before getting on the road again. My husband ordered a chicken bowl with added guacamole, I ordered the steak chimichanga with sauce on the side. My husband enjoyed his meal, I however was only able yo eat the rice and beans from my meal as the chimichanga was filled with oil when you lifted it up (see picture). The gentleman at the register noticed and offered to make me another dish but I declined as I was a bit disgusted by the grease. I appreciate the effort to make things right.

WHY doesn't Fresno have Baja Fresh anymore? *scratches head*. Their food is so fresh and good! I love their hot, crispy chips and guac. The guac reminds me of Chipotles, has a great flavor. The shrimp and chicken tacos are my go-to here. The proteins are good quality and plentiful. They have of lots of salsas to choose from. My only gripe is they only have one mild salsa but it's mango based and way too sweet, wish they had a mild pico to accompany my food. This location is always clean including the restrooms friendly service and gives away free chips while you wait for your food. If you ever are on your way to SoCal or on the way back and want a quick bite, stop here and treat yourself!

These were our leftover chips, very good serving

Food: ordered the chicken bowl. Check out how much onion I had to pull out so if you don't like onion like me, ask without because if not, it's almost a bowl of onion lol. Both raw and cooked onion. Very tasty though. My sis and I ordered a Mexican corn cup and was delicious, highly recommend with their large portion of chip we didn't even finish. The corn is better than some "eloteros" walking in the street and also "La Michoaca" shops. The service was awesome since we communicated in English and Spanish with cashier as she caught on to us speaking like that.

Why yes I am giving this location a 5! This was a solid great fast food experience. Pedro was friendly and was quick to take our order. I haven't been to a Baja Fresh in years!!! We stopped by on our return drive from Santa Barbara. I got the 3 shrimp taco combo with rice and beans. These tacos had so much more flavor and tasted better than the $23 tacos I just paid for at Santo Mezcal in SB the night before. They had nice grill marks in the shrimp, they tasted fresh and everything was full of flavor. Chips were served to us warm and crispy. Definitely fresh! The place was clean including the bathroom. As we left the female workers in the kitchen told us "thank you! Have a great day!"

What I received was corn on the cob, potatoes and sausage with a few pieces of shrimp and the crab. My family does not eat meat so I do not understand how they could make such a mistake especially when I was the only customer there. What if someone was allergic to one of the additional items? I'm pretty sure the sausage and vegetables were added to the shrimp to equal a pound. I am totally disappointed with this mistake and I see the reason why the restaurant was empty on a Saturday afternoon. There was no way I could have gone back to return the item since I live quite far and I made the mistake of not checking before I left since the girl stapled the bag and sealed the container inside. The shrimp isn't cooked well either. Some of them were cooked for too long while others seemed almost raw. Bad quality.

The location is definitely part of the experience since you're right on Stearns Wharf with a great view of the water. Parking is also surprisingly convenient. You can drive directly onto the wharf, and the first 90 minutes are free. We arrived around 11:45 am and found a spot pretty easily, but by the time we left around 1:30 pm, it was packed and we saw cars circling around waiting for spots. I'd definitely keep that in mind if you're coming later on a weekend. We ordered the Bread Bowl Chowder, Clam Linguini, and Lobster Roll. The chowder was fine, and I appreciated that they were actually pretty generous with the clams, but neither the chowder nor the bread bowl itself was particularly memorable to me. The Clam Linguini was extremely rich and buttery, almost to the point where it became difficult for me to keep eating. I usually associate clam pasta with something a little lighter, so this caught me off guard. If you prefer heavier, creamier pastas, you may enjoy it more than I did. The Lobster Roll was packed with lobster, which I definitely appreciated, especially for the price. Unfortunately, the bun was toasted too much for my preference and ended up being overly crunchy. The onion rings on the side were fine but nothing particularly memorable. The staff was friendly throughout our meal and also quickly noticed and took care of some water that started dripping near our table, which I appreciated. Overall, I think the location and experience of eating seafood right on the wharf are fun, but I found the food a little underwhelming for the price. There were things I liked about each dish, especially how generous they were with the seafood, but nothing we tried really stood out enough that I'd go out of my way to come back.

There was some road construction out front and assumed the place would be empty, but I WAS WRONG! I was greeted immediately by a kind gentleman who worked with me in ordering exactly what I wanted. I couldn't decide between a tostada de ceviche de camarón or a tostada de jaiba (imitation crab meat) so I asked if I could have a bit of both. He agreed. I payed and waited probably less than 10 minutes for my order. They even set my tostadas on the side so they wouldn't get soggy! I did dock a star because once I made it back to the office, I opened my plate and it was a large portion of food, but the jaiba was not marinated in lime nor seasoned at all... Just dry. The camarón ceviche beneath it was perfect. I did try my best to mix it up best I could. It wasn't bad, the food was flavorful, I'm sure had I made a choice of one or the other there probably wouldn't have been any issues. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at the extra limes, salt and Valentina packets that came with it. They thought of everything: fork, plate, napkins. Loved that. The menu looks super appetizing and I will definitely be back to try more off the menu.

My personal favorite is the Pollo Tampiqueño, but their Molcajete, fajitas, albondigas, homemade tortillas are all amazing and definitely one of the highlights of the menu. The restaurant was busy, with tables pretty much full both inside and outside, but luckily we were able to get seated without a wait. The seafood tasted incredibly fresh, and the fish in the cioppino was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Unfortunately, after giving Teddy's by the Sea multiple chances, the problems have become too consistent to overlook. We've had repeated issues with online orders--food mixed up or not prepared the way we ordered it. On one occasion, we even found a piece of plastic in our lobster mac and cheese. But the most frustrating issue has been the completely inconsistent closing time. They advertise that they're open until 8:30 PM, yet we've shown up as early as 7:40 PM and been told they're already closed. This hasn't happened just once--it's happened to us multiple times. We really used to enjoy coming here, but between the order mistakes, the plastic in the food, and never knowing whether they'll actually be open during their posted hours, we've finally given up. If you advertise that you're open until 8:30, customers should reasonably be able to expect you to be open at 7:40.
