Please note the handicapped spots are along the side of the building so you will need to walk a little to get to the front door. We were seated right away and our server took our drink orders. When she returned, we were ready to order. Our food took about 15 minutes to arrive. The eggs were cooked as ordered and the sausage was done but not overdone. The pancakes are as would be expected from a pancake house, moist and fluffy. The strawberry pancakes were also very good. There was plenty of fruit and whipped topping to last to the last bite. Beware - the parking lot is not totally level in the front, causing the curb to the entrance to be very steep. I've known a couple of ladies who have fallen because of this. Anyone elderly going to this IHOP in J.C. needs to have someone with them to help them step up onto the walkway to the door. we wondered why the place wasn't very busy. We soon learned... I am giving this place a very generous one star for two reasons, first one star is the lowest rating available and secondly because the food might have been acceptable if it had been brought to the table in a reasonable time. Call me disappointed today. I've had IHOP's gluten free pancakes many times and I usually love them. Today, however, they were less than desirable. Normally light and fluffy just like the regular IHOP pancakes, today they were flat...totally flat. The stack of 4 was less than an inch high. Like 45 rpm records flat. That said, it's a chain which means it's very consistent, but don't expect any local variation or special-of-the-day from the farms out on HWY 107. I'm deducting a star because the coffee is not brewed, but that stuff from concentrate. Fruit, pork, and flat breakfast pastries are what they do well. This is a great place to over-tip your server. Total dumpster fire. Had to wait 10 minutes at the hostess stand as whoever was assigned to that post was back in the kitchen for some reason. Then we had to wait as they had no tables clean. Then hostess cleared off at least 7 tables that had been left untouched since the customers left. It's IHOP. This IHOP is pretty much the same as every IHOP. Sometimes it takes a really long time for staff to come ring you up if it's really late. Sometimes food takes really long even when there's only 3-4 other tables. Sometimes outside of greeting, taking orders, and serving food, your server is never to be seen! But it's IHOP! As far as food (and price), it's a 3ish star place. I'm giving them another star to make 4 because where else can you go to grab a bite in the middle of the night around JC?? Exactly... The pancakes and French toast were quite good. The eggs were properly cooked to order. My main objection to the chain is that they scrimp on the breakfast meat. There was no problem with the preparation of the meats, but the meats themselves were below average. My "but" is for the lack of cleanliness. I was there at 6 AM (it is open 24/7). It smells clean and the walls and tables look clean. The carpet, however, was badly in need of being vacuumed. There was way too much paper and other debris on the floor. More or less, this is a glorified Waffle House in the fact that it is a bit nicer and the cooks are in the back and tucked away. The food for us seemed to take a bit longer then it should have but the establishment was pretty busy when we were there. Service was attentive enough but could have used a bit more of a personal touch. Our waitress really seemed like a robot and came to us with a very monotone voice and seemed as if she was just going through the steps. This was the worst service I think I have ever encountered. We got there and yes, it was busy, but the hostess told us it would be no more than 20 minutes. We waited and the waitresses were so slow. They let dirty tables sit, and in the kitchen there were plates of food that they were just leaving. The people who did have a table were waiting for food for well over an hour. We waited for a table for an hour and a half. They kept telling people that it would only be 20-30 minutes, and they were straight up lying. They knew that it was going to be much longer. We eventually just got up and left because there were still 5 parties ahead of us, even after an hour and a half. Over half of the tables were empty for "social distancing" but there were over 20 people stuffed into the waiting room, so why not just open the tables? Ok I know it's IHOP! Here's the deal, they have pumpkin spice pancakes this time of year and my girl is nuts for anything pumpkin spice, and she's crazy about pancakes. Being a conscientious and thoughtful person I decided to let her take me to IHOP. The food was great, but man the wait in line with empty tables all over the place was crazy. Cam here yesterday, the wait was 20 minutes (which is expected) we sat down at the table . We sat there for 15 minutes and no one came over to our table . We waited and waited and finally since everyone else was being served my husband got up and asked if we could get a server . Finally a woman came over and said @sorry , can i get you a beverage? Terrible service. There was quite a long line to sit but it actually went fast - after that - not so much. According to our check the order was put in at 1149am - after I complained at 12:14 we got our food about three minutes later - but not all of it. We've been here quite a few times and most of the time it's pretty okay. The service is decent, the food is what is expected but sometimes it's really hit or miss. We've had some pretty good food and service but we've also had our entire order ruined, bad food, and bad service. I am a frequent IHOPper. I always order breakfast (usually the same simple and fit omelette) but I love the rotating specials that come through, like the cupcake pancakes I had last night. The staff at this location has always been friendly and prompt in service, even if they oftentimes look exhausted. If you sign up for the club emails you can get free pancakes at least twice a year, and there's often a survey opportunity on the bottom of the receipt to get free pancakes as well. So play your cards right and you can have free pancakes all the time! Blueberry, chocolate chip, red velvet, strawberry, raspberry white chocolate...and the list goes on. read more

This is my favorite pancake house ever they are very pleasing they have affordable prices and are very good at treating people right. I am pretty sure I wanna just go there every day, three meals a day, 365 days a year. Maybe I should just live there because they are very nice, has great customer service and they have very Low prices. I do think that drinks should be a little bit cheaper. I really don't want to pay almost $3.00 for a coffee but at least I get refills. For hot chocolate you should be able to get refills.
