I ate here last night with my family. This used to be my favorite place before it closed over a year ago. Overall the food and service was good. 2 Visits in 2 months. The first time going (January) great service, food was SO good, and prepared quickly (weekday lunch time), and was busy. Fast Forward to today. I had the same thing, my go too: spinach omelet with hollandaise sauce and regular pancakes. My omelette was slightly over cooked but decent and definitely still edible. It took quite some time to get our food. While waiting I saw some food sitting on the window for a while and a waitress also take an omelette down from the window and squeeze the sides of it with her bare hands in an order to try and figure out what it was (disgusting). The real problem was the unprofessionalism from the workers. It wasn't all of them, but one of the cooks in the back dropped the f-bomb a couple of times, a dark haired waitress/employee and a pink haired waitress/employee got into it and were yelling back and forth at each other to the point it looked like they were about to put hands on each other, but didn't thankfully. That lasted a good 5 minutes, a break and then a few more words were said between them before we didn't hear them anymore. The poor table buster was apologizing to everyone in the restaurant as he was cleaning the tables for their actions none of which were his own. The only reason we even went was because our 10 year old couldn't wait for them to open back up. We will not go back unless some things change within the restaurant or they get people that can handle doing their job when it's a little busy on a Sunday after church (lunch time). Food was on par for a typical iHop meal. The waiters provided quick, friendly, and easy service. My salad was well prepared and delicious, pancakes and mozzarella sticks were also good but you can tell that the mozzarella sticks in particular were rushed as most of the sauce was spilled onto the sticks themselves. The actual environment was quite distracting with lots of kitchen noise and several sounds of plates colliding or being moved in the back. If you're looking for a good affordable breakfast place this is the place to go. I am highly disappointed by this location I had gotten a spinach & mushroom omelette and found 2 different long pieces of black straight hair in my food. Stuff happens but personally that is the most disgusting thing that could ever happen. Although I did order it through doordash & you never know but I will not be coming back here. I'm too awkward to call & complain but doordash did refund me some of the money so that was ok. read more

I will not be eating at IHOP ever again. Went for dinner with my Older brother , sister-in-law and my son. When finished I paid my bill by phone and my sister-in-law had not even paid hers . The waitress came by I told her I had paid my bill by phone, ok then a she comes back and said my bill had not been paid but my sister-in-law's had . I looked at my bank account my bill I paid was pending $38.86 which my bill was actually $38.64 . So I showed the waitress she says will doesn't showed paid. I ask her to get the manager for me please. He comes to the table and pints to my receipt and says my hasn't been paid , but my sister-in-law's had . I said no my account shows it's been paid . He didn't want to hear it he was very rude , my son almost came up from the booth . I told him I'll call the police cause I didn't want to walk out with anyone thinking I didn't pay. The police came we explained everything to them They weren't a lot of help . We told them if I go and pay my bill again that's twice . Plus my sister would be paying it as well cause hers was paid already. So we go up she gives the girl her bill and gues what ? She paid my bill again.. the waitress has told us one lady had gotten charged twice she had to call her bank . My sister-in-law was very upset The manager all he could say is if you have to charges call your bank have one removed . So apparently there is a clinch in their system and he doesn't want to get It fixed . So the police officers understood what we were talking about. While there are many places to choose for breakfast that I'm going to try on my travels, places like this are a staple. Yes, if one watches the commercials all one sees is sugar but it doesn't have to be the case. Bring 10 bucks and whatever you want to tip and you can get the omelette, chicken and waffles, breakfast steak...well just say some more options than the mom and pops. One will pay a few bucks more but it is worth having the choice. Quiet after the main rush and the staff was immediately attentive. Nothing special environment wise but it was clean and as expected. I went the healthier option with egg whites and if this is you, cool, but of course be ready with the hot sauce. Our waiter had NO CLUE wh as to what was on the menu (limited menu due to covid19 I know) asked if they still had pork chops. And was told I (dunno i don't think so) our food came out nearly inedible and no one in our party got a drink refil except my wife when she finally flagged our waiter from his conversation for more coffee. I ordered the 2 crepes combo with eggs, 2 bacon and hash browns. I am served only 1 crepe. I questioned the waitress about the other crepe and she says that it only comes with one. What?!?!? The menu clearly says "2" crepes. There is really no way to get that wrong. But she said no and walked away. We then ask for a manager and he says that it only comes with one. WHAT?!?!?! Only one star because zero was not an option. My wife and I were hungry for pancakes and decided to make the one hour drive to Dothan. We were seated quickly but that was the last we saw an employee at our table. In the 25 minutes we sat, not one employee approached our table to take even a drink order. In town for business and although hotels offer free breakfast, felt like having Belgian waffles so found myself at IHOP. Walked right in, got seated, quick service and was able to substitute the waffles for pancakes. Gave 4 stars because I asked that my strawberries be placed on the side but it was put on top. The room temperature was also a bit warm. Typical IHOP seating and parking was no problem. Granted this is a Monday mid-morning visit. I usually come here for brunch with my husband once a month. we have our favourites on the menu , "the Spinach and Mushroom Omlette",its usually very good but a bit disappointed today, didnt taste the same . "the Big Steak Omlette " is average. But as it is , love the pancakes and French Toast. Had ordered the "Peanut butter and Choco Chip french toast" the last time,it was really good. We came in here for breakfast this morning and it wasn't good. I have a certain expectation from IHOP and this location couldn't hold up to it. The people were kind and offered nice customer service but that's the end of all things good in this IHOP. My cheese omelette was prepared carelessly. The inside didn't hardly have any cheese and there was a small amount melted over the top. I usually get the same kind of omelette and I have eaten this at other IHOP locations without issue before but they dropped the ball this morning. We tried one of the new menu items and it tasted like discount prepackaged treats. I'll say it was bad judgment because it didn't sound like a breakfast item to begin with. December. The month for festivities, holiday spirit, and Christmas miracles. It's a wonderful time of year. I've never really believed in Christmas miracles though; an extraordinary event caused by a magical time of year? No chance. However, my belief was completely changed forever in December of 2015, all thanks to IHOP. It was Christmas Eve, such an exciting time; family in town, anticipation for the morning of presents and laughter. Little did I know I would be receiving my present early this year. The time came where everyone was becoming hungry, so deliberation began on what would be nice for dinner. Eventually, IHOP was suggested, and "Breakfast for dinner sounds great!" was implanted in every mind. So the family loaded up in two cars, one my grandmother's and the other my car. We arrived and were quickly seated near the back of the restaurant. Just a few other tables were occupied, which provided for a peaceful atmosphere. The calm before the storm. It was a textbook restaurant experience. Nice service and good food. My dish of eggs, bacon, and pancakes with a side of toast was delicious. The entire table had thoroughly enjoyed IHOP. While sitting at the table having a brief post-meal conversation with the family, I began to feel rumbles emanate from my gut. It was a bit odd, but nothing concerning. I put it in the back of my mind and we all preceded to leave the restaurant. The plan was to meet back at my grandparents' for some Christmas Eve family time Since there was only one check, and I wasn't buying, I figured I would go ahead and make my way to the house. My sister, mother, cousin and I began walking towards my car when a sharp, excruciating pain in my stomach nearly brought me to my knees. I had felt this before, but never to this severity. I was in trouble. "Come on, we need to go!" I screamed as I ran towards my car, needing to arrive at my grandparents' as soon as possible. Once I flung myself into the driver's seat I immediately swung out of the parking lot and sped down the road. Sweat beaded on my forehead as the pain continuously got worse. It felt as if my intestines were being tied into knots. "I'm... not sure if I can make it." My desperate voice was frail; the color was drained from my face. Thankfully the house is only about a five minute drive from the IHOP location. I had ignored every speed limit I encountered, and relief washed over me as I approached the bastion of hope that was the comfort of my grandparents' guest bathroom. But my relief would soon turn to more despair. I was out of my car and sprinting to the front door within seconds of parking. And then I realized the awful reality of this situation. We had no key to the house, it was with the other group in the other car. And if my grandmother was driving, she was most certainly going a solid ten miles per hour under every speed limit. I now submitted to the agony and collapsed, crying out in despair. The pain was so intense that much of the waiting time is a blur, but I vaguely remember dancing around in the drive way as it was the only technique that seemed to slightly ease the torturous twinge. Eventually, after the longest ten minutes of my life, the beautiful headlights of heaven gleamed down the street. No time was wasted. I rushed into the now open garage and did my pain-easing jig by the door. "Throw me the keys! Now!" The family was confused at my urgency, but the driver tossed them. After fumbling with them for a moment I succeeded in unlocking the door and scurried towards the bathroom. It was gorgeous. That gleaming, pure-white porcelain was like finding a pond after wandering in the desert for days. I slammed the door behind me and dropped my khakis, planting my meaty cheeks on the throne. Excrement suddenly and violently exploded from my pink, puckered anus. The bliss was overwhelming and I shuddered in pleasure. I couldn't believe it. It was true explosive diarrhea, something I had never encountered before. What was in that food? I was in absolute shock during the entire release. It was everything I had ever imagined and more. Splatter on the toilet tank and rim, some collateral on my lower back. Absolutely sensational! My observation of the filled bowl confirmed my suspicions; nearly pure liquid ordure. Three flushes and one toilet paper roll later, I pulled those khakis back up and strutted out with a swagger I never had before. While cleansing my hands, I looked at the mirror and stared into my eyes. My hair a mess from the toilet shenanigans, a new man I was. I couldn't wait to inform my family. I rushed into the living room and raised one fist into the air while exclaiming "I have been battered and bloodied, but I am here! A new man, fresh from the wonderful adventure that is explosive diarrhea!" They jumped out of their seats and cheered, the applause thundering to my glory. Well for starters I was not allowed to have the funny face pancake which is my favorite because I looked older then 12 according to the waitress. After we had finished eating she then told us how to get around the age with funny face by ordering a chocolate chip pancake and asking for them to add everything the funny face has. The hash browns were bland and had no taste to them, salt and pepper couldn't even help. My mom has ordered eggs with cheese but got cheese with a side of egg. The Adam family got chocolate was good but a mini was still too much, it had too much of an icing taste even after all the purple icing on top was gone. This IHOP offers a fairly standard IHOP experience. It's not the well oiled machine that the one in Buckhead is, say, but it gets a solid C.

This is a nice friendly spot. Me and my fiance went here for sum alone time and good pancakes. Not to mention they have great seasonal flavors which we got the strawberry banana pancakes. It was good! We also do not eat pork so we ordered turkey bacon on the side which was cooked good too. The slices are thicker than butterballs turkey bacon so it's satisfying and the meal was a nice price too! This place stays buisy so be sure to keep that in mind if youre looking to eat fast. read more

Possibly one of the most unsatisfying breakfasts I've had in a long time. IHop has changed its menu, and the selections are meager and pricey compared to previous iterations. This particular restaurant had particularly embarrassingly small portions and unappetizing eggs and sausage; apparently they were trying to save money by keeping the AC high, so I was actually sweating (and I am generally too cold indoors); my booth smelled of rancid water; and unlike every restaurant I've been in in the last five years, they have no internet. With Cracker Barrel, Panera's, and even McDonald's within a mile of this IHop, it's difficult to know why they are so poor. Competition generally drives better products and services. IHop could never have been considered a great place to eat, but at least one felt that the quality and quantity of the food were a decent value. Recently both have declined, and as someone who travels across the country, I can honestly say that this trend is not an isolated one. They used to have the saving grace, at least, of being open 24 hours, but this policy has as well been eviscerated. Too bad, IHop. I was certainly gnashing my teeth during my experience at this "fiery furnace" of an IHOP, on anything but the crepes I ordered. I'd usually reserve a one-star review for a restaurant I had eaten at a few times, but my recent experience with IHOP on Ross Clark Circle in Dothan Alabama has condemned it to a one-star rating and lost this customer for good. Now, let me be clear: the food at your average IHOP is usually passable, as is the service. But this IHOP is well below any reasonable standard. I've been a total of three times, and the first two were merely mediocre, with the food being decent but the staff being pretty rude. May 20th, 2016 though? "Mediocre" would be downright philanthropic. I had just gotten back from my graduation, and I just wanted to have a fun, short night with a modest party of six. When we got to the IHOP, there were not one, but several tables open which could have comfortably seated six people, however, the awful manager, Shelley, made us wait forty five minutes for seating. From the moment we walked in, Shelley was completely rude and dismissive. This was just the beginning of a truly terrible night. We were made to wait over two hours before we got our food, half of which was stone cold by the time it was brought to us. We watched the waitresses cook and serve for every other table in the restaurant before us, including several who had not been in the restaurant nearly as long as we had. A large party next to us, also demonstrably returning from a graduation party, was having a similar experience, being ignored and derided by Shelley. As any person would, we demanded a full refund for such appalling service, but Shelley wouldn't budge on this. In fact, when we were explaining to her why we were so upset with our service, Shelley didn't even seem to understand the problem, no matter how many times we broke it down for her, kindergarten style. According to her, the fact that she told us it would "be a little bit" justified the length of our wait as well as her horrible attitude. To put in perspective how ridiculous this treatment was, I went to Buffalo Wild Wings at a busy time one night fairly recently, waited HALF as long for my food as I did here, and the manager not only OFFERED a full refund, but a gift card. I'm not trying to shill BWW here, nor am I saying that Shelley should have paid us for eating at IHOP, but my friends and I were subjected to unreasonably poor service and should not have had to pay for our stone-cold food or the rude service. On top of the way she treated her customers, Shelley could be seen and heard throughout the IHOP verbally abusing her constituent staff. One aspect of this IHOP that I would like to take a moment to praise was our waitress. She was consistently sweet and patient (and willing to give me the name of the manager). If I could give a more specific rating, I'd give the food two stars (the low score being due to consistency), the wait staff four stars, and Shelley a single ball of phlegm. read more

After leaving TGI Friday's with two very hungry children. We were given seats within 2 minutes of walking in the door. They allowed us to order for the children while the adults decided what we wanted. It was the best service I have had in a long time. The young waiter made sure everything thing was just right.
