Sat down with the group, place wasn't too busy. Got taken care of right away, no waiting around or getting ignored. Service was solid the whole time, didn't have to ask twice for anything. I went with the chicken florentine crepes--way too much spinach and sauce, barely any chicken. It felt more like a spinach wrap pretending to be breakfast. My wife's plate looked better. She had the quick two egg breakfast with a waffle, nothing wild but everything came out right. Eggs were cooked how she asked, waffle was golden and soft. Other two in the group got the Colorado omelette and French toast. Omelette was loaded, looked heavy but they were into it. French toast hit all the marks--sweet, soft, solid IHOP comfort food. Everyone left happy. Just wished they balanced those crepes better.

In the area picking up a Father's Day gift at home Depot nearby we decided to stop in for a quick lunch. It was also Father's Day. Surprisingly the establishment wasn't busy. There were maybe 4 groups of patrons already seated. No host at the front and a lady that walked by did tell us someone would be with us but it took a few minutes longer than we're used to at any IHOP. Our server was nice enough, though we were getting weird vibes throughout that made me kinda want to leave. We ordered our appetizers and drinks first since we still needed to look at the menu. It took almost 30 minutes for us to put in our food order because our server, seemed like, deliberately ignored our table. I mean back always facing us even when walking by our table, ignoring us. It was not busy so I couldn't understand why. Once we put in our order and got our food everything was hot and tasty. I did receive ranch with my salad instead of vinaigrette and a pretty decent chunk of cabbage stalk. Nothing to fret about, I just ate my salad with the ranch and put the stalk to the side. We also ordered my boys two of the firecracker drinks, that we've ordered before somewhere else, and they were not made correctly but on a positive note, less sugar for the kiddos! We still tipped over 20% but based on our experience we would probably not consider this IHOP the next time we're in the area.

Good place and service with a smile. Super good people. The food was good. Kids loved it. The quantity and the price is quite reasonable

Omelette was well-prepared and flavorful. Potatoes were crisp. Cinn-A-Stack pancakes were delicous. Service was fairly quick, and drinks were refreshed steadily. There were notices that the building is undergoing renovation but the look and feel of the diner was not diminished in the slightest.

I love this Ihop! We always have great servers that serve us. Tonight was no different. Michael was our server who was training Mikala. He was very professional and provided great service for us tonight! Its refreshing to see professional servers training new hires, because thats how you create a community of effective employees. We were lucky to have two servers. Michael was very knowlegable with the menu, offered suggestions, and even gave us a military discount. Like he just has those "people skills" and he just "get it." Come and experience for yourself!

Can't believe this place has a 3 star rating. We had a 6 stars experience with our rock star waitress Tami. Show 'em how its done! Even though everyone else wanted lunch I really wanted breakfast and I brow beat everyone into getting breakfast with me! Ha...it's the Hogwarts way! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a lovely hostess who seated us immediately. Tami, our waitress was on the ball and brought out coffee immediately while we picked at our menu. While we were waiting for our order she notice we didn't have any ketchup and hot syrup at our table and brought it out without us even asking for it...super service. I got their new Count of Monte Cristo wrap which is basically a french toast wrapped in ham, egg and cheese. It was super filling and flavorful. Everything was A++ after breakfast and coffee I used the loo and it was super clean...definitely better than any of the IHops near where I live...will be back soon!

The burger and tater tots were also very good. The menu offers a wide variety of specialty burgers with plenty of customization options, including grass-fed beef for a small upcharge. Fair prices for the quality and quantity of food--definitely left in a food coma. Service: Service was efficient and the food came out well-prepared. No major issues during the visit. Atmosphere: Located in downtown Dahlonega, making it easy to explore nearby shops and dessert spots before or after your meal. The tavern has a darker, eclectic vibe with artwork, punk music, and a slightly edgy feel. The décor fits the restaurant's origins and personality, though the lighting--including in the restrooms--is quite dim. Parking downtown can be somewhat difficult during busy times.

I asked for some Tabasco sauce to help make the sandwich more palatable to eat, instead of being brought a bottle like most restaurants would give you they gave me a condiment cup full of Tabasco sauce, too much for anyone to use. When the bill came for an extra 50 Cent charge for it, I didn't fight it because it was 50 Cent and I just wanted to leave, but it was frustrating. I've never been charged for condiments / hot sauce at a restaurant I'm giving two stars because the server was nice and patient while we figured out what my little one needed to order she had to come back to the table a couple times, but they should have mentioned the surcharge for the hot sauce at the time that I requested it. Would I come back here again for a meal, no. Would I consider coming back to try a cocktail, maybe, only because overheard the bartender speaking to some patrons quite passionately about the flavors which they put together so I would give this part. Another chance even though the kitchen has lost my confidence,

Against our better judgment, we went with Whataburger's Dawsonville location. This might be my first review for them on Yelp, but it is not the first time there and all three times in the space of almost a year have been equally terrible. Let me put it in perspective... I spent several years of my childhood in Texas, where Whataburger is about as much as an iconic institution as Atlanta's Varsity. Imagine growing up and moving east where there's no Whataburger in your state. And then imagine joining the campaign to bring Whataburger here. Let's change that and take a native Georgian who grew up eating at The Varsity, who then moved to Texas, went YEARS without that nostalgic taste and the memories associated with it. Then, let's say someone decides to open a Varsity franchise in Houston Metro AND COMPLETELY DISGRACE THE MEMORIES OF YOUR CHILDHOOD. That's pretty much what the Dawsonville location has done all three times we've eaten there. I can only assume that they just don't care. It's not only that all three times the food has been old and cold... it's not only that the first time I ordered there for a pickup, and they let me sit for 30 minutes before handing my mysteriously lost order, with no offer to remake the old, cold, stale food... it's also that consistently all three times, the orders have been horribly wrong. As you can see from the picture, I ordered two double whataburgers, both with bacon, one with jalapeno, one without, and both with letttuce, tomato, onion, pickles and mustard, even though you can't see that part. We paid for the up charges. Total was $51 and some change. Pretty sure what I ended up with was not $51 worth. What I got, was three burgers... only one with bacon, all three with only ketchup. The handy thing about Uber Eats is that you can watch in real time where your delivery person is. Poor dude sat at that location for almost half an hour. Maybe he had dinner while he was there, I don't mind. But I'm 100 percent positive that he did not assemble or pack the order. So clearly he was not the issue. So not only did they get the order horribly wrong, but they made a guy who depends on tips, wait. Yes, we still tipped because we knew it wasn't his fault. And I know Dawsonville isn't a hub of activity at midnight on a Thursday morning, so I'm pretty positive they weren't just swamped, which was the excuse I got the first time my order was left sitting and also incorrect. At this point, I'd rather see that location shut down than allow them to further disgrace an iconic Texas institution. We won't be going back and I'll be sure to share my review on that location.

He was busy even though the restaurant wasn't full. Poor guy. My hubby ordered the muffaletta and wasn't impressed. He ate it though. He loved his Abita root beer. I decided to order from the side menu and I'm so happy I did. The andouille sausage was grilled and tasty. The maque choux was amazing. Think Mexican corn with a Louisiana twist. Perfection!! The loaded grits were also wonderful- chocked full of gouda, bacon, and green onions. Delicious! The gumbo was thick like a stew. The flavor was smoky and sublime. My only beef is instead of all gumbo, the cup was filled mostly with rice... topped with gumbo. Overall we enjoyed our dinner. However, due to the pace of things, the underwhelming sandwich and perception of getting shorted on the chicken and gumbo. I wouldn't hesitate to swing by and order a maque choux to go as a snack except they charge $1 for the to-go container.
