I arrived in Orlando about 9:30am and decided to hit Cocoa Beach before checking in the hotel room. After making the drive, I was famished. I wanted something light and quick. I decided to go to IHOP. I am not a fan of IHOP but I needed something to eat. I went in and was seated immediately. The server was nice. I ordered the 2x2. I had 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and 2 strips of bacon. I asked for real eggs instead of what is usually used. To my surprise, the food was good. I had no complaints. Yuck. We usually love IHOP but this place is dingy, dirty and the food was terrible. I am assuming they would all follow the same standard but I guess I was wrong. The only positive thing I will say here is the staff was nice. I ordered a regular hamburger and onion rings. The lettuce was slimy, the tomato was yellow and the onion was shriveled and dry. My glass was dirty and the carpet needed vacuuming in the worst way. I told my husband we should have known not to go to a place where the parking lot is empty. Skip it. read more

For a chain restaurant I don't think you could go wrong with ihop. Food was good, service was good. Great menu always changing. The location was a little out dated with the deco so it seemed really old and the temperature was kinda warm inside. read more

Don't be scared if you come in and there is a wait line. This staff hustles and provides exceptional customer service I have rarely seen at a chain. You will get in and out fast but with great southern customer service!! Wait line goes super fast! Well done! read more

Food was typical IHOP, which I love. The good thing about a chain restaurant is the consistency. My visit was memorable because of Erica; she was kindof loud, but really funny. The food was very good. That's the plus to my visit. First, the app didn't work for my order so we had to start all over again with my aunt's account instead. Then, when we got to the restaurant a few minutes after the time it was supposed to picked up, not only was it not ready, they hadn't even entered the order in to the computer. The manager told me she was the only person working and was too busy to put the order in and apologized. She entered it then and the cook started cooking. I noticed that the manager was wearing her mask on her chin and that nobody else in the restaurant had a mask on at all- not the cook and not any patrons at all. I didn't feel comfortable waiting inside so waited in my car. The manager brought the order to my car and pulled her mask off completely to apologize again. When I got back to the hotel I found that they had left out my niece's order so I had to go back and sit in that virus filled place to have them cook her dinner. Again the manager apologized and tried to give me a drink but really there shouldn't be the need for that many apologies. I certainly won't order from there again! read more

The only good experience on our visit last week was the kind waitress. Our appetizer was over cooked and my sandwich was just plain burnt. The cook messed up an order in the booth next to us. And then the people that came in after us had burnt food as well. I felt so bad for that waitress. She was apologizing right and left to people. read more

Horrible service from management. It was 7:30 pm & the place was less 25% full. The wife & I waited 45 mins for my wife's eggs. I got my toast and still waiting for the rest of my order. Then the waiter came and asked "what did u order ? " Realty, then my order came wrong ! The eggs over medium came Burt! I'm not making this up. The manager would not even come address this with me, because he was busy help cooking. But they did take my meal off the bill. LOL read more

Fast courteous service and hot delicious food was what we received at this IHop in Cocoa Beach.

Usually get the strawberry banana danish crepes as they are awesome. Went with their biscuits and gravy this time and was not let down.

Our food came out quickly and the waitress was nice.....but the whole place smelled like grease and I had to hang out/wash our clothes when we got home. I don't know if their exhaust system was not working or if it needs to be upgraded. My husband and son used the restroom and said that the men's room was filthy. We will not go here again. read more

Hostess extremely rude. We were waiting and they sat the table before us, must have been because they knew them. Then made a comment that we've been waiting and she responded "well unless you wanna sit on someone's lap you can't sit there." First of all it was a 4 top table so a party of 3 (us) could have sat there. I'm a manager of a restaurant and that kind of service is horrible. As a tourist, you would expect nice hotels and a lot of restaraunts to choose from. Well on vacation from New York to Florida, we spent time in Cocoa Beach. Our family of 5 went on this strip and went to this I-Hop. We frequent every sunday the I-Hop at home, so we felt we would feel at home. OH NO!!! This place was totally disgusting!! Not crowded, but the only waitress we saw was huffing and puffing because she said we all came in at once and she is the only one. 1st, we sat ourselves, then she came over and made that statement. Next we saw another waitress, but not sure if she was on her break. We sat at a booth, that was filthy underneath. (on the floor). The table was not set. My daughter ( 4yrs old) had a knat on her arm. Then a few more. When I looked at her back, she was full of them . I turned around to see where they could be coming from, and the window was covered on the bottom and around the window sill. Next, my husband went up to get a booster seat, because we were waiting already 14 minutes for this waitress to even take a drink order, and when he returned with a filthy booster seat, he said we are leaving now. I asked him why, even though I was quite skeeved at the place already, he said that he just saw the cooks, who are very close to the front and in open view, touch the toast with his bare hands from one plate and put it on another. TOTALLY disgusting!!!!! We walked right out of there and the waitress didn't even care... The health department should visit this one!! We were there on a Tuesday, July 1st 2013...
