Lucky find on christams day for dinner! Was packed and for good reason, food is delicious! Was skeptical as the place serves pasta/ risotto/ Indian/ Chinese/ Japanese and Thai, quite a variety to get everything right. But the Hakka noodles and panang curry were both delicious! Definitely would go with medium spicy as the mild was definitely mild/ kids had no problems with the spice level. The place has unique/ tropical decor. Decent parking and outdoor and indoor seating. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area, very close to the ports/ cruise ship departures/ arrrivals.

Great service and good pricing. Get one of the Asian dishes for sure. Note that the spice is a lot less intense than if you were ordering Thai food: I got hot and felt it fell between mild and medium. Inside, there are some random trinkets and a wagon, so the theme of the place wasn't clear to me. Again, go there for the food.

Nicely done, the side sauces, tamarind and cilantro/lime chutney, were good. So nice start. Oh, the place is beautiful and so clean. Then the garlic naan came out. So good. So garlicky. And that is where wonderful kind of fell flat. First up, butter chicken. I know, standard dish, what would we expect. How about some popping Indian flavors and at least a little heat. I'm not sure he even asked what heat level we wanted. We got zero. So that was a bummer. Standard. Then we had the lamb Nilgiri Korma. Again, good but nothing special. And again, spicy level zero. Standard. Anyway, solid food. Food to price value is pretty good. Service was great. Place is great. We have had Indian all over the world including in Indian on several occasions. This was really flat. One would think in an Indian restaurant at least, you don't need to tell the more heat. Oh well.

Fantastic food!!…read more With only a few Indian restaurants in Brevard, Taste Of India is by far my favorite thus far. The inside decor is beautiful. Lots of gilded gold and brass accents and statues with a stunning ceiling that makes me want to redo mine at home. They offer a simple drink menu of soft drinks, teas, lassis, wine and beer.. no liquor, but for a small place, a common thing. The menu is colorful with lots of pictures, so very helpful for anyone who is or is not accustomed to Indian food fare. The service was a little sluggish, but all of our orders came out hot and correct. The food is so fresh and has so much flavor! The palak paneer is my favorite, followed by the mix grill and the lamb chops. All the meats are perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Don't forget the lamb or cheese naan! Healthy portions. Made from scratch recipes with a beautiful interior, Taste Of India will not disappoint.

The space is modern, clean, and really welcoming--easy to relax and enjoy your time there. Such a diverse menu with options like Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, Korma, and various appetizers and entrees, with popular items including curries, various Naan, Samosas, Chai and Mango Lassi. We started with cauliflower Manchurian, onion pakoda, samosa chaat, and Chicken 65--everything came out fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. For the entrees, we tried the mixed meat platter, the curries were extremely delicious from madras, tikka, makhani to Kerala fish curry, and the Chettinad cashew coconut chicken curry with black pepper. Each dish was so flavorful fresh and the spices were so aromatic. The naan was excellent across the board--garlic, classic, cheese and especially the date Peshwari naan... SO delicious. Slightly sweet, soft, and honestly a must-order. Yum yum yum! We ended the meal with dessert & chai. Had the traditional dessert ras malai, gulab jamun, carrot halwa, and rabri a new dessert that the chef was making all with masala chai--such a warm, sweet and flavorful finish. We even had the soomph palate finisher at the end. Exceeded our expectations what a treat from the moment we walked in to the ending! Huge thank you to Varun and the entire team for the incredible service and delicious food. You can really feel the love & care in every detail. We'll definitely be back soon. This place is a gem that delivers on every level--from ambiance to flavor to service. The restaurant itself is spotless, modern, and inviting, with a relaxed upscale vibe that fits perfectly with its beachside surroundings. Plenty of parking makes it easy to pull in, settle down, and enjoy a proper meal without any hassle. We started off strong with the cauliflower Manchurian and onion pakoda--both came out fresh, hot, and perfectly crisp. You can tell right away when a kitchen respects texture, and they nailed it. The samosa chaat was layered with flavor, and the Chicken 65 brought just the right kick--crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and seasoned beautifully. For mains, we explored a bit, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared rather than rushed. The mixed meat platter was generous and well-balanced, the Kerala fish curry had that deep, coastal spice profile, and the cashew coconut chicken curry with black pepper had a rich, aromatic heat that lingered in the best way. Every dish carried depth--nothing tasted one-dimensional. Of course, no Indian meal is complete without naan, and both the garlic and regular versions were excellent. But the real standout? The Peshwari naan--slightly sweet from chopped dates, soft, and just indulgent enough to feel special. That alone is worth coming back for. The drink selection is another plus--they've got a solid lineup of wines, beers, and spirits if you're in the mood to pair your meal. And considering the quality and portion sizes, the pricing feels more than fair. We wrapped things up with a full spread of desserts--ras malai, gulab jamun, carrot halwa, and a warm cup of masala chai. Each one hit that comforting, traditional note you hope for at the end of a great Indian meal. This isn't just another Indian restaurant--it's a place that clearly cares about doing things right. Whether you're a local or just passing through between Jacksonville and Orlando, this is absolutely a stop worth making.
