Yelp says I live .3 mi from new China. Several years ago it was not bad then it began to look and feel dirty and not clean. No screen door on back etc. had family member get sick from lo mien so we have not been for a year. Thought I would give them a shot to see if cleaned up. Screen door on back of kitchen now and spruced up a little. At 7 pm walked in, everyone sitting around with no business-hum! Egg foo young not bad, fried rice was yellow rice with frozen peas, a little pork and carrots. Very bland and tasteless. Shrimp toast-did not seem done in middle, not hot at all-tossed it out. Egg roll veggies in wrapper-boring. So will not be back. Will drive past to other places. Hate to not support local but cannot eat that food. read more

It's a take out location but we ordered and sat in the restaurant anyway. People seem to like New China because while we sat there, more than one person who seemed like a regular came in to pick up a take out order. We ordered chow mein noodles, fried rice and soup. Almost everything came out unexpected. You kind of picture what chow mein looks like from previous experience. That's not what came out. The fried rice was completely yellow. This was probably the worst Chinese food I've had in a long time. The chicken and the pool platter was not even edible. It was so overcooked. They didn't even give me any soy sauce or duck sauce in my takeout order and the crab Rangoon's were disgusting. It seemed like they were very stale. read more

The food was good. The flavor profiles were reminiscent of fast food Chinese places in NYC. The lady and her husband running the restaurant were nice and friendly. We tried the food from the lunch menu. General Tsos Chicken was crispy under the sauce and seasoned well. The Sesame chicken was the same but slightly sweeter than the General Tsos. The Kung Pao was also good. We also tried the boneless spare ribs. If you normally don't like greasier items I'd prolly stay away but it's one of my favs. read more

The worst and most nasty Chinese food ever. Watery wonton egg drop soup with old dried out dark wontons. The dry noodles to go along with the soup were old and stale. Bright yellow pork fried rice (never seen anything like it looked like paella) dried out and the pork minuscule, disgusting and dry. The sweet and sour pork also old and dry and no pineapple, onions or peppers. Never seen anything like it. The egg roll fried in old oil and uneatable. Was sick after initially tasting their food. We ordered delivery & enjoyed everything as usual. Two minor problems though; communication & customer phone service. One of the meals I ordered we received 4 instead of one (it was ok though, we had leftovers!). The language is a barrier to understanding well and no curtesy is extended such as "thank you"! But I overlook that because I've been in the restaurant & I see how busy it is, time is a premium & maybe it's a cultural thing. Although good manners are desirable in all cultures, this is a hard working family & my neighbors. I want them to continue to succeed. I ordered and never saw the cook wash his hands. On top of that he's sick and kept sneezing so I moved closer to see if he cleaned his hands after sneezing and blowing his nose. At one point after him sneezing I saw snot running from his nose. He never washed his hands so I had to get a refund. This encounter made me sick to my stomach. read more

I believe they have new owners or at least a new chef. The original owners and chef was very friendly. They would greet you with a smile every time I entered. The food was delicious no matter what you ordered. They had the best dumplings in the area and their lunch specials were a great value. I understand everything has gotten more expensive due to inflation so I was not surprised the portions are smaller even though the price increased. However the taste of the food has only been mediocre at best recently. Hopefully it is just the new chefs working out the kinks. read more

Great place and if you want chinese food in Cocoa Beach its the way to go. The complaints about the ordering process are valid. When ordering make sure to say you want to pay by credit card and to give them the card info (language/cultural barrier). However, delivery is fast and food is great. Blah. That's all I can really say about it. It's cheap so I can't really be too picky, but I wouldn't recommend this place. I went into the restaurant to order the chicken and broccoli lunch special. The woman working is rude and has terrible customer service. After I ordered my food, she just started walking around and taking care of other stuff. She didn't even acknowledge my order for another five minutes and I didn't know whether to stay at the counter or just sit down. When she finally got the order together she just gave it to me and didn't say anything. As for the food, the rice was as good as uncle bens and the chicken and broccoli was very bland. I also never got a side soup or egg roll even though the menu says it comes with it. Other than that there really isn't much else to say about this below average Chinese restaurant. We ordered food online for delivery where we indicated there was a seafood allergy and to separate food when cooking. We received Pork Egg Foo Young with shrimp physically in it. When we called to correct the error, it was difficult to communicate. However, we finally felt they understood that we were only asking to replace the meal and they agreed. An hour later when it wasn't delivered, we called back and they just kept saying that there was no shrimp in the dish. She yells at you, and when you ask for the order to repeated back she says "I got it" and hangs up on you. Not only that, after I called back to hear the order back (after being hung up on), she says the same thing and hangs up on me again. She has hung up on me 3 times in the one time Order i had. I had to remind her to take my card number as well. I would recommend ordering at the location, because obviously the woman they have taking orders doesn't care about the people calling. If I were the manager, I would get someone a little more personable to take the calls. Whoever they have now is awful and rude. Definitely don't recommend. read more

This is the worst restaurant I have ordered from in cocoa beach! If I could give negative stars I would. After an hour and 45 minutes of waiting and three phone calls later my food arrived. Mind you I'm literally 8 minutes away from them. When it arrived the driver had spilled all of it in the bag, hands me the bag dripping with soup, egg roll swimming in it along with my noodles.
