Was told it needed a little sweet. My friend had the wonton soup The wonton was kinda tough she said. We had the house special chow mien lunch plate. I asked if it had bean sprouts and was told yes. I really like bean sprouts. The chow mien only had 2 shrimp, about 5 pieces of chicken the size of a quarter, and the roast pork in it had an off taste. There were about 8 bean sprouts in it too. And...... it was sweet. I opted for a spring roll and it was hot, crispy and delicious. Our server was polite and helpful. I can only assume the cook has a fondness for sugar. If you like your food sweet, then this is the perfect place for you.

To be clear, it is not top dog, but worth going out of your way to eat there. Buffet always has shrimp PERFECTLY COOKED every time we go (and we go frequently) It is a working person's buffet so you will dine with construction workers, lawn people, and regular folk. They have the same offerings every day and have perfected making each dish. Must be boring for the chefs but wonderful for the diners. The only thing that needs improvement is the Hot & Sour soup. It lacks some spice and has too much thickener. Egg Foo Young and all the standard Chinese American dishes are done well. Also has To Go containers. The broth for the Won Ton soup is so good and "healing" we use it as our go to cold medicine. The staff rarely smile but are the same ones who are always there, at any hour on any day. They do their job, they just have no joy in doing it. Closed Tuesdays. Kitchen staff work fast to replace food on the buffet. Great hard, hand scoop ice cream. Watermelon is flavorful. Main dishes consistently good. Try it. Price is reasonable. Considering what most restaurants charge now days, the price is EXCELLLENT which is why we can go on our fixed budget and why so many working people eat there.

Dumpling lovers unite!…read more We finally have a spot in our charming Brevard county that offers amazing Chinese street foods galore! A quaint and minimally decorated spot, nestled into a un observing strip, this gem could easily be missed. After seeing their menu online, we threw on our clothes and drove as fast as we could have a feast ! And what a feast it was !!! Our server was very attentive and helpful with making multiple decisions and the bubble teas were fresh and sweet and delicious . (Looking forward to when they have all the flavors available) We started with a bowl of warm and hardy curry soup with delicate glass noodles and flavorful broth. We then shared an order of the Chashu pork bowl with marinated egg. It wasn't as crispy as I'm used to...even a little gelatinous, but boy did it have the most amazing flavor. As a texture person, it didn't slow me down one bit. We also got some crispy fried wings that were perfectly cooked and juicy inside, and crunchy fried scallion pancakes (one of our favorite street foods) Then came the soup dumplings. The best I've actually had anywhere. Delicious broth with deep flavor, wrapped in a steamed wonton with tons of seafood meat inside. The pork and chive dumplings were crispy and soft all at the same time, bursting with juice and flavor. With such a large order, we had food to eat for days, but still have so many things left to try and cannot wait until our next visit!

With the exception of the Hot & Sour Soup, I found everything done well. Its closest competition is China Garden in Cocoa in Byrd Plaza on the mainland and is a few dollars less expensive. It is not authentic Chinese like you would find in Chinatown. I enjoy eating here regularly and it is a great place to meet someone. Easy to find, plenty of parking and seating, and everyone can find something they like to eat. Plus, because it is a buffet, no waiting. You can eat right away if you are on a schedule. The staff do their job and do not interact much. This is a consistent good bet.
