My husband and I had been craving waffles for DAYS - the waffle iron at the house we were staying at was so old that the plug wasn't polarized and the entire thing was made of metal and would get blisteringly hot. Frozen waffles were out of the question. We rode bikes to iHop, where we were greeted with a "Hey baby, how ya'll doin?" from a nice, classic diner waitress. We ordered Chicken & Waffles (fried chicken strips and a side of Belgian waffle) and a Belgian waffle with strawberries, bananas and whipped cream. It took longer than we expected for our food to come out, but the waitresses were attentive and kept our waters filled. When the waffles came out we could smell the delicious vanilla-y aroma right away. With my first bite I could tell they were exactly what I was hoping for - light and crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. YUM. While I'm not exactly sure what the best way to eat chicken & waffles is, my preferred method was dipping the chicken tender in honey mustard, then placing it on the buttered and syruped waffle, and eating it all at once. This is what America is all about. Minus one star for keeping the place so cold that condensation was literally dripping off of the windows outside, and the slowness of the food - but the food itself was very satisfying, the waitresses were nice and attentive, and with tip our meal came out to just about $20. I'm not one to go to a restaurant to eat-in solo, but after spending many days in the area for work i was craving 'comfort food' and some people watching. My waitress was so friendly and attentive, and the food was definitely up to par for my IHOP standards. It was nice to get a hot meal with friendly faces. I just ate breakfast at IHOP in Cocoa Beach. Jojoho provided great service, the food came out quickly and it was delicious. However, I was greatly disappointed to discover that they no longer served Harvest Nut and Grain Pancakes. They are the reason I go to IHOP because they are the best.! The regular pancakes are good, but I am not sure I will be back if they don't bring back the Harvest Nut and Grain pancakes again. read more

Food was amazing as always. Our server, Dawna, not so much. She interrupted me while I was speaking. Forgot multiple items. Didn't bring us straws, syrup, salt when asked twice. Waited for food longer than I would have because running late for event after way too long sitting there would have left any other time . Changed order to go food was junk cook and who ever was manager at time total fail never go there again. read more

i'm 22 y/o and i just went to waffle house for the very first time. i really like the environment, and the service was awesome and friendly but not overly invasive. They also took necessary precautions that made me feel safe to enjoy breakfast out for the first time since quarantine. i believe my server's name was heather, and she was awesome! and always had a mask on while talking to us. thank you so much, you live up to your mission of outstanding customer service! read more

153/100 in 2016 challenge Can't complain about anything here. We arrived early in the morning before the rush. I have not been to this IHOP before today. We were greeted the moment we walked in the door by Leslie who would also become our waitress. She was quick to ask if we wanted coffee and brought to us lickety-split. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes for our food that was more than filling. I don't usually finish all my food so the hubby orders something small and then just finishes mine. I am glad he did. I had eggs, hash browns, bacon and 4 french toasts with bananas and strawberries that were great. Leslie brought us a new pitcher of coffee since our was empty and its bottomless at the table. We were in and out within an 45 minutes to an hour and everything was great. The restrooms were not decorated at all but they were very clean with nice colorful counter tops. I actually like the color enough to mention it to the hubby. We will be returning. read more

There aren't a lot of breakfast restaurants in the Cocoa Beach area so we decided to stop at this IHOP since we had some time to kill before checking in for our cruise. It was busy so there was a wait but not too bad. The service was good. The food is what you would expect at an IHOP. I had a hair in my food. The server was apologetic and took it off the check, no questions asked. The service was good but we will probably find an another restaurant next time we're in that area. read more

We visited the ihop for a family breakfast of 4 and it was a good experience. Pancakes are well done and tasty. We tried also the full breakfast with eggs, bacon, etc.. and it came well done and was very tasty, with enough quantity to share between two kids (8 and 4). I tried also the grilled chicken sandwich and was good. Waitress was nice and it was obvious she had a lot of experience with the menu and what to recommend. The place was packed and when we left, there was a long queue to enter, that gives you an indication that could be good. read more

So we get here and order our food. I asked for my eggs to be scrambled in butter instead of their LBA (liquid butter alternative) because of the taste and was told they couldn't do it because "they didn't have butter." When I asked "then what are you going to put on our pancakes and toast?" she said "we have butter, the cooks just said they don't do that." A year ago after Hurricane Matthew, we went looking for COFFEE--the only place open was the IHOP (a chain we had never visited). Wonderful coffee, with hurricane shocked residents being cared for smoothly and soothingly. Yesterday we suddenly thought let's go back--the place was mobbed but the service was again welcoming with smooth service--this time we had spinach omelets, YUGE helpings and delicious. read more

Came in while on vacation from Orlando. Got seated by Ashley (tattoo that says California on her forearm) and promptly got our drinks. After we ordered there was a slight wait for the food because she forgot to put the order in, but she was really polite and apologetic so it was no biggie. Once our food did arrive, it was really good and well worth the wait. Plus amazing Ashley kept checking in on us the whole time. Stopped there yesterday around 11 am. Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. While waiting I noticed how dirty the waiting area was and wanted to leave. 3 in our group. Took about 10 minutes to get drinks. Food took about 30 minutes for a club, waffle, and burger. All the waitresses seemed to be hovering around the kitchen waiting for food to come out. Waitress kept coming by saying it should be only a few more minutes. Food quality was OK. I would not recommend if you are looking for a quick bite to eat. read more

Just because she didn't wanna seat us, it's discusting, please DONT COME HERE!! Try to find a closer IHOP this is discusting!! Me and my wife are from the Atlanta area. We visit IHOP locations all the time and it was surprising to me this location is still dated. We came into the area for one night, since we were leaving on a cruise the next morning. My thinking when we pulled up to her favorite spot was, man they need to upgrade the place. However; still willing to give this a chance being that we are in another market, we entered. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated promptly. It amazed me the inside was old, you walked past the kitchen, like an old-fashioned dinner, and it was quite empty for 4 pm. Our server was nice. We ordered new items on the menu, I asked for turkey sausage and they were out, the hash browns were burnt, the server didn't make sure we had the extra condiments on the table. We had to track her down for drink refills, napkins, ketchup - you get the idea. At the end of our meal, I made a small suggestion about preparation and the manager came to see if we enjoyed things. This ihop location is very quick. Service is good and foods is typical of all ihop locations. For those looking to sit in a restaurant for breakfast, but don't want to wait, this is a good option. This ihop is VERY quick! We went on a very busy Saturday morning and were in and out in less than an hour. read more

I prefer to avoid chain restaurants when on vacation due to having a preconceived expectation. I truly was pretty disappointed in this location. It felt dirty & greasy. The restrooms were not very clean either. Our server, Erica, was efficient but was so busy trying to be efficient she spoke super fast and made me feel super rushed! On 10/18/14 @ 8:00pm My husband and I stopped by for a bite to eat because he loves ihop! Usually the service is ok, but on unfortunately, we had a waitress last night who was a complete and totally unprofessional, racist, low class woman. I didn't get her name, but she was rude and loud with me after I corrected her tone with my husband who is white male with an accent. She proceeded with her disrespect by saying at the tale end of taking our order ," OK, DO YOU HERE ME, AND HOW ABOUT YOU, DO YOU HEAR ME". This is the moment she set me off, because I am not a child, and my husband is not stupid, I replied, " YOU ARE NOT TALKING TO ME, YOU TALK TO HIM, HE IS MAKING THE ORDER, HE IS GOING TO PAY". She started to shout walking throughout the restaurant at me, and drawing attention to my husband and eye, (we are an interracial couple, me at the moment the only black person in the restaurant). My husband calmed me down before it got out of hand, and reminded me that that we are in ihop, LOW CLASS PEOPLE WORK HERE! DRUG ADDICTED, AND THEY PAY VERY LOW WAGES TO THEM, THAT WE LEAVE AND ARE GOING HOME TO A PEACEFUL, LOVING LIFE, (PITY ON HER) This lady had very strong forceful, negative emotions/energy on her. My biggest concern is the fact that out of all the people who are jobless? why hire people like this who suffer from PTSD? OR other mental disorders? Americans have fallen off the deep end and are so very easily angered of things that don't matter in life? Not the cleanest, or quickest IHOP I've ate at. And for it being pretty small, I was surprised the service wasn't quicker. The food was consistent to the chain, and out waitress was flighty at times. It's decent for a "oops I got up too late for my hotel's breakfast" option. read more

Came to this IHOP on my last day of vacation after attempting to eat at another breakfast place down the road. The other place was a horrible experience and at 7 months pregnant I left in tears. My husband pulled into IHOP and went inside to tell them about our ordeal. They sent him back outside with a big to go cup of ice water for me and when we came in they seated us right away. The hostess and waitress was very friendly. They did a great job considering how busy it was on a holiday weekend. The food was delicious. We shared a chicken fajita omelette because they are so huge! We also got hash browns and berry French toast. We wanted pancakes but our waitress told us it would be too much food. I appreciated her honesty instead of then trying to make a quick buck. Bathrooms were very clean as well. I will definitely return on my next trip. read more

She actually chased a customer out of the store and said she assaulted another worker bc she lightly tossed her buzzer back.
