I usually order through the IHOP app because I've had billing issues dining in before. Today my wife and I decided to eat inside instead. We ordered a Decaf Coffee, a French Toast Faves Combo, and a Pancake Faves Combo. When the bill came, I noticed I had been charged for the regular French Toast meal instead of the Faves Combo. The explanation I received was that my plate had hash browns, so it "wasn't the Faves deal," and I should have noticed before eating. Here's the problem: I order the exact same French Toast Faves Combo through the app all the time, and it always comes with hash browns while still being charged at the Faves price. If the kitchen serves the wrong sides, that shouldn't become the customer's financial responsibility. Charge customers for what they ordered--not for a mistake made during preparation. This isn't the first billing issue I've had at this location, and after multiple experiences, it's hard to believe these are just isolated mistakes. I was sick all night long last night 24 Aug 2024 from 1am on, throwing up and knowing full well that with my ONLY meal of the day since the MORNING BEFORE a full 18 plus hours without food, my stomach went into convulsions and it took three hours to vomit it all out. One booth in entire restaurant has an outlet so if you need to charge your phone you can forget about it. Summary, No setup, no fries available, incomplete sandwich. The entire lobby was full of customers and nobody had been greeted or anything. It was a ghost town as far as workers. We decided to give it a shot one last time. I previously gave this location of a 5 star review. Until tonight. We went to donate to the Shriners. Okay, they got the $10 that I donated for that and we were sat at our table. And waited and waited and waited. At least 15-20 minutes. As I had a rambunctious 17 month old, so it isn't like we were quiet or could be ignored. Finally, I stand up, wrestling to put my coat on because I'm trying to hold said child. At least 5 waiters/waitresses made eye contact with me and could obviously see my empty table, so it's not like we had eaten. Our drink order hadn't even been taken. There were empty tables, so it was a manageable load. I went to the front counter, told them what happened and we left. I will NEVER go back to IHOP again. As it is, it's a treat for us to go out to eat at this time because said 17 month old doesn't want to sit in a high chair waiting for food. So, I was not happy.
