If you want a more local food experience outside of chains in Bartlesville, go here. It's downtown and near many other shops. The restaurant itself is two floors with a large bar. Service is efficient and friendly. The menu is very Southern with massive portions. Per our server's recommendation, I ordered the mac and cheese with pulled pork and bacon. It was so creamy and so good and soooo bad for you. Ha! It was so big I only ate a third of it. Take the rest home.

    Spicy Shrimp Bowl.

Loved the atmosphere (once I convinced them that putting a woman traveling alone in the middle of the room at a big table was not necessary). The dark upstairs was perfect. Wait staff was great! Portions were generous.

Ordered the chicken fry. Very stringy and not very tender. Ambience is really cool. The time before I had nachos and they were amazing.

I had a steak sandwich and they put REAL steak on it. Not the chopped up kind like Arby's does.

Experiences that influence the restaurant's menu. In addition to good old home-grown versions of Okie staples like a smash burger and meat loaf; there are a variety of international cuisine offerings. Just a few examples: Shawarma to Stitzel, and Spring rolls to Bao Buns. Some of her favorite ethnic foods from around the world. And for the Veg Heads there is something called a Grilled Cauliflower Steak. In the back of the restaurant is a large dining and event room, with outdoor seating. It is set up to handle a crowd. Check all of the pictures. There is Karaoke and live bands on the weekend. The music genre is as varied as the restaurant's menu. We kept our lunch simple today with an Oklahoma Smash Burger. A big beef patty with cheese, dressed with L,T,P&O. A side of crispy fries completed the basket. I noticed something different about the burger on the first bite. The tomato. The tomato had an unmistakable home-grown flavor. If you know, you know. I asked. Sure enough, grown in her husband's garden. An excellent burger. Great food, great owner and from looking at the pictures a fun place to spend the evening.

The meatballs were good, but the rest of it not a lot of flavor. Two pieces were just air bubbles, and had no toppings. So I really didn't get a whole pizza. It was also a little pricey for what you got. I ordered the dessert, it was really good. It was the skillet carmel melt. It was definitely worth it. One minor complaint was I had to pay twice. When I ordered my pizza and then when I decided I wanted dessert, had to order again. A positive, the person I was eating with said he loved his pesto pizza and would definitely return.

I was worried about 7 pizzas being made in a wood fire oven being g done in a timely manner. However they were really fast. The pizza variety is impressive. They are flavorful. Everyone at our table liked them. I tried the Caprese Balsalmic, the Sweet Fire, and the Triple BBQ. Of the three the triple was my favorite. The front of the store has some market items like cheese, freeze dried candy, bread.
