I think it's the original "smash burger " . I remember going there (Westside) , in the middle 1950s. The slogan back then, "A Square Meal on a Round Bun") . It was,and is still true. Great food, great service. There was no drive through, it was a drive up. Ya get out, walk up to the window, and order. They would give you a number, and have your drinks ready by the time you paid. The owners then have passed on, and kids retired, so the grand kids are still there, in their late thirties. You can eat inside now, and they have a drive through. It still feels like the old days until you pay. Modern cash register gives you a print out, with a computer generated receipt,with your number, and... your drinks are still ready at the next window. My wife and I went here to try new place. We were definitely not let down! Everything was made to order. I ordered a cheeseburger and french fries and my wife ordered the same, but with onion rings. The burgers were large and hot. All of the toppings of lettuce and tomato and onion were very fresh and there were plenty of them. The fries were hot, well seasoned, and if I could give it 10 stars I would. We will definitely be back! if you're in the area, stop by and give them a try. The new Lotta Burger on the East side of town is modern, clean and never dirty. The burgers, especially the double and mini double are our gold standard. If you like in-an-out burgers these are every bit as good. Awesome crispy fries. Generous sized drinks. Oh and very friendly staff. I've watched them work with customers and when someone finishes they immediately clean the tables. Their drive thru is efficient and excellent. A review here mentioned the owners wearing a side arm. We have had a few armed robberies around town recently and after all this is Oklahoma. It's an open carry state. A classic example of good guys protecting their business and customers. read more

The food was just fine. The server at the window was armed with a holstered pistol. I asked him why he was armed. He told me that he was the co-owner and wanted to protect the property. I had a brief discussion with him that was going nowhere until he asked me to pull forward. I won't ever go there again. I'm scared to death of weapons in public. I avoid places that have them. I have ate lot a burger for a long time, had good food from here when they first opened. But today's food we took home was one of the worst hamburger and French fries I have ever had. The meat was burnt and dried out, bun was burnt..fries cold and smelled like the grease they were cooked in was a month old. None of the food was worth eating at the cost of 17.00. We called in, and they said they have had other complaints....fire the cook.. they offer to have us come back and have the same cook give it another try, no thanks, enjoy our money....it is the last time. read more

9 time out of ten, I get the spicy chicken basket. Comes with several spicy chicken nuggets, fries, bread and white gravy to dip it all in. Today I got my order, no gravy. Went to the counter, oh we don't have any gravy. Really?? It's a signature condiment of the meal! They never even offered to refund the gravy portion, but if you ask for an extra one, they're eager to charge you for it. When I did go up before I left, they refunded me 50 cents for the gravy. They seemed put out that I even asked. Then as I leave I went to top off my cup, and they had turned the soda machine off. It wasn't even 1 o'clock yet. They've always been stingy about things. Filling cups to the top with the finest of crushed ice so you only get 4oz of soda in a 32 oz cup. Removing the ketchup from all the tables and putting it on a single table with cups, but these were things we dealt with to have a decent priced lunch. I guess I'll be visiting other establishments downtown that actually treat their customers better, even if it costs a little more, or walk over to sonic. So much for trying to help the local mom n pop shop. read more

It took 15 minutes to get food through the drive through. When we got to the window a lot of the employees were just standing around not doing anything. One of our cheeseburgers didn't have cheese so I had to put it on myself. The curly fries were good and the burger was pretty good as well but I probably won't be going back. read more
