We elected to just get a meal. I saw the cashier look at our table at least three times. Even making eye contact twice. The manager in back even made eye contact once and I gestured to my watch. Nothing. The people next to us teased us about what on earth we ordered to take more than a few minutes. I couldn't see the rack but patiently assumed the were just catching up from the lunch rush on the buffet. Fifteen minutes later, I finally gave up and went to check on our meal. She played dumb and blamed the system. I noticed the warmer was stocked with dozens of chicken pieces, proving it was just them being oblivious. All in all the food is still better than it was years ago. I'd rate it a (3-4) and above average for KFCs. But the service was a (1) at best.

I stopped at Chicken Express on my way back from Texas, and I must say, I was really impressed! The chicken was delicious--crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The prices were very reasonable too; I got a 13-piece dark meat meal for only $13.99, and it came with six fresh biscuits. The restaurant was clean both inside and out, and I appreciated that they also have a drive-thru for quick service. Overall, a great experience--I'll definitely be stopping by again! read more
