The air conditioner in the restaurant was dead. It was as hot inside as outside. Stifling hot. The HVAC guy was there working on it. We decided to tough it out. The restaurant is nothing fancy. Kind of dumpy on the outside, an old failed Taco Bueno building (explains the AC being out.) No gratis chips. There is a salsa bar with a good variety. I ordered the chimichanga plate my wife had a bean and cheese burrito with red sauce. The food was excellent. Check the pictures. Better than the "Fresh Mex" places we have in Tulsa. If you have not tried Abelardo's you should. Surprisingly good. Abelardo's Mexican Fresh is a large franchise operation scattered across six states. The home office is in Omaha, Nebraska. I can't believe a bunch of corn huskers could know anything about Mexican food. They have pulled it off. Oh, the air conditioner came on as we were half way through the meal. It wasn't cool inside when we left, but noticeably improving. No heat stroke.

Super affordable and tasty

The food is inexpensive and tasty. I would definitely recommend it. The drive through makes taking food to go easy.

Solid Mexican food. The Taco Tuesday deal (5 tacos for $5.99) is SUCH a deal. The crunchy chicken tacos are good with lots of meat. I wanted spicier avocado sauce. Or spicier verde sauce. Both were extremely mild. Both still tasty.

This is one of my go to places around Bartlesville. Their tacos are what I usually get but the nachos are good too. I usually get the adobada or the carne asada. I also like there cabeza quite a bit. They are always really quick with their service. The salsa is a bit thin, but very flavorful. It's an easy choice, especially when you consider they are open most of the time.

Today we stopped in to have a late lunch. My husband had Turkish eggs, it was the special for the…read moreday. He loved this! I tried it and agree it was amazing. I had Brussels salad, this salad was amazing! Shredded Brussels with apple, cranberries, Dijon dressing... I'm sure there was more to it. The tea is fresh brewed and refreshing. We also got three cookies to take home. They offer takeaway options and a variety of desserts. This place is very clean and trendy, the vibe is chill and relaxed. The people working there are so kind and helpful. I enjoyed the entire experience and will definitely be back. As far as the price, this isn't a fast food restaurant. Their food is made with fresh, usually local ingredients, and there is love in every bite. I'd rather pay more for the quality they produce vs the questionable products from a box.

So glad I found this place in Bartlesville. It might not be the quickest lunch (and a lot of people…read morewere doing pick up), but I made it back to my meeting in plenty of time. Besides, homemade can't be rushed. I tried the Turkey and Provolone (w/spinach, bacon jam, red onions, and red pepper aioli). Totally delicious and it was a big portion. I ate it all but I should have taken half home for later. Service was good and the iced tea was amazing. I refrained from the cookie case but everything on display looked delicious. Bookmarking this so I can remember the next time I'm in town. The art on the walls was fabulous. Loved them!
