We stopped in today while visiting the area. There is a drive in window or you can get out and order at their window with an area to sit. We got out to see all the items offered, there's a lot! I ordered the German chocolate and my husband ordered the almond joy. They were both nice treats for a warm day. Not too sweet but definitely hit the spot. read more

Great place. Custard is very good. Summer and winter hours are kind of sporadic, but the product is great and the people are always nice.

Ok... so this place puts to shame any of those other air quotes custard places... Yes I did spell out the quotes because it is that damn good! We stumbled onto this place from a suggestion of my mother in law many years ago and we always fight over do we go or do we really need it... and we usually go and get the kiddie cup so we don't feel so bad.... my favorite is the big brownie and sometimes I get it with chocolate instead of vanilla.. I think they call that one death something... and it is... you will be in a sugar coma if you get the big one.... The only thing that would make this place rock is if they started grilling burgers and onion rings! If you are in the ville do go out of your way to give this place a try. I was going thru Bville and decided that I wanted some of that smooth flavorful frozen custard from Jared's! I have been to Jared's several times over the years.... It has always done well...It failed...well the service failed. Ordered a Banana Pudding. It tasted like their vanilla base with chopped uo vanilla wafers. So I told the young lady that there was no banana flavor. She said that there is banana in it. Then handed it back. When in Bartlesville you go here and you get a pistol pete. That's all that needs to be done. I don't even read the menu. Just walk up tell the person pistol Pete and enjoy. Pro tip: go ahead and read the menu. You're likely an amateur and like desserts with tart fruits in them and will pick something seasonal. Like lemon bars. Ugh. read more

They've reduced the sizes of their cups but still have the same high prices. The custard melts too quickly in heat warmer than 75; therefore taking it to go is not a good option. Nice service however. Clean place. Their custard is delicious. read more

Jared's is a familiar frozen custard stand, featuring concretes (the custard base) with mix-ins. I've tried Almond Joy, replacing the vanilla custard with coconut, and the Vanilla custard with Oreo. The AJ had a bit too much of that fake coconut flavor, but the simple Oreo treat was tasty and provided relief on a 100-plus degree afternoon. read more

This place is childhood. We've been coming here for years. For me a simple kiddy chocolate in a dish is perfection my dad still gets a concrete big brownie it's got hot fudge and brownie bits and my mom's fav is the salty dog it's got pretzels which I think is weird but if you like sweet and salty it's great. Yes the drive through takes a while but we just get out of our car to order, and yes the staff is all teenagers they will sometimes act like teenagers but they get the job done. I will forever be loyal to this great local treasure. read more

Ok,nuttin' special frozen custard in Bartlesville...off HWY 75 on 60 east...ole fashioned and good frozen custard taste like a Dairy Queen Blizzard but with chunks of custard thrown in. Comes in a variety of flavors...my best friend and I each got got a berry custard and a banana split...cost about $12 bucks for two desserts,kinda expensive if ya ask me. read more

We went through the drive-thru. And after a semi-lengthy wait we were able to make our order. In the background there were employees goofing off, flirting around and just being obnoxious. The employee in the window had to ask the others several times to make our order. He ran our card and with a snotty tone said the card wasn't working and of course knowing we had money asked if he'd try it again. Once he tried it for the second time he gave us a smug look and told us it didn't work. We decided instead of giving him another card to leave and most likely won't return. read more

The serving size went down, way down, and the price went up. One or the other I can tolerate, but not both. I've gone a few times duirng posted hours only to find them closed. Also, put the day's flavor on the big board on the south side of the building BEFORE you drive up to the window to place your order.
