I'm so thankful Sterlings offers gluten free food. It's not marked on their menu but many things are already or can be made GF. I've tried all of their steaks (including the bison), the salmon and shrimp. I have 2 favorites the salmon and the filet. The salmon is absolutely perfect every time and the sauce that is on the salmon takes it to another level. DE-LI-CIOS! Tonight I ordered the filet with a baked potato and green beans - to go. The steak was cooked to perfection and was loaded with flavor. I'm not one to go on about green beans but let me explain...they're cooked the old school way with onions, bacon, and spices, mmm, mmm. I will agree with some of the reviews, there are times when a steak's flavor is not what I expect BUT most of the time (like tonight even ordered to go) it's very good. No reactions here! If you need to order GF and have questions just ask one of the kind and helpful wait staff. The majority of them have been working there for years and can answer all questions you may have. Came in on Saturday night. No one was at the hostess area. After a bit someone stopped and was asked if we had reservations. I said that we did not and after looking on the Facebook page and website we did not see anything saying we needed them. She then stated to us "that you can't just walk in". I explained we didn't see anywhere to make reservations and she said it was on the Facebook page. I continued to look and never found it. It would have been better to just tell us they had no availability instead of scolding us and being rude. They were not very busy and there were at least 10 empty tables. Very unprofessional behavior on her part. We should have left but she sat us in the bar area, which was fine. Our order was taken quickly and we received our salads however no silverware. She brought that to us with the main dishes which were good but not what we ordered. When I sent mine back(she admitted the mistake was her fault) the wait for the new dish was almost 30 mins. By then my husband was finished so we paid our check and left. Additionally we ordered an appetizer that we never received. Our waitress then said she had bought my dinner because of her mistake. My husband and I had an absolutely amazing 23rd Anniversary Dinner. He had chicken Piccata and I had Filet mignon with sweet potato and for dessert we had crème brûlée, Keylime, cheesecake, and apple pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic and the Lady we had was always on top of everything. The mood and atmosphere was quiet and romantic. I love the little candles on each table in the restaurant. First of all I'd like to say that there are no good restaurants in bartlettsville Oklahoma and the people that live here wouldn't know what fine dining is if it bit them in the *** . Everything I was served was overcooked I ordered a steak rare it came out medium well returned it when it came back it was exactly the same they tried to make up for it with a piece of cheesecake that had hershey's chocolate syrup drizzled on it it tasted like something you would get at Walmart . We absolutely loved Sterlings Grille! We went for a date night and it did not disappoint. I called and got a reservation, which I highly recommend! They sat us a little table in the bar area and it was great! The food was amazing! We ordered the potato skins; they do take a little while to make, so be prepared to wait a little bit for the appetizer. They are very worth the wait though! Would not eat here again. We were in the area and decided to try it. Ordered off the twilight menu- a rib eye and prime rib. I asked for the prime rib to be cooked medium well. It was mostly red and did not taste good. I took it home for my dogs. The rosemary potatoes were dry. They charged us full price- not the twilight menu price so that made it even more disappointing. First time customer to Sterlings Grille. Our first impression was the outside of the building needs updating. It was 5:45pm when we arrived and the parking lot was almost full. To me this is a good sign of good eats When we went in I was surprised to find real cloth tablecloth and napkins instead of paper. The restaurant appeared to be clean, the staff was well dressed and friendly. However the interior decor was too dark. And above one of the doors someone had a spelling problem. I think the sign should have read "public house" but public was misspelled "publick"House Lol. We did like the atmosphere it was quiet and relaxing. We could talk to each other without having to shout over people screaming yeehaa every two minutes. The food was mediocre. The salads was mostly kale and small. My wife ordered the filet medium. But came out between medium well and well very light hint of pink. I ordered the prime rib medium and mine came out cooked to order. My wife said her steak had good flavor but was a little tough and chewy. My prime rib was a poor quality steak that had a lot of gristle. A little Spanish music would be appropriate while I was fighting that bull. I don't mind paying higher prices for high quality food but the quality we experienced was not up to par. I would personally like to thanks the woman that takes reservations. I called two weeks before Valentines Day for a reservation and was told they were booked that night. I really wasn't surprised. But then I asked about the Saturday before Valentines Day and was told there's no need for a reservation and wouldn't put down on a Saturday night. This is a VERY solid four stars ... Five stars on Yelp means "as good as it gets." Sterlings is the only place we've eaten at in Bartlesville, so we don't know for sure whether it's as good as it gets in this town ... but it's pretty darned good. At our table, orders included Chicken Piccata, a 12 oz. NY Strip, grilled salmon, and a kids order of chicken fettucini alfredo. Everything that came to our table was very good. It was cooked properly, tasted fresh, and met our expectations. Okay, so it may not be to the level of a super high end steakhouse that you'd find in Dallas or Houston, but it's very good. We couldn't complain about any of it. Equally important to us, the service was fantastic. Our host was incredibly gracious, and our waitress made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
