This was a nice experience at this iHop location. My last dining here experience was dismal. Today, I met up with a fellow yelper. Staff was responsive and took the time to check on our questions and requests. There's a Value menu(hidden on the menu) and it has great $6 deals. Food was served hot and my main request was their fluffy pancakes. They delivered! It was so good. Pro tip thanks to Annzie- ask for hot syrup! Sausages were tiny but what do you expect for $6. Today, April 14, 2026, my wife and I visited this IHOP at Pipeline Plaza, Ashburn for brunch. Our orders were taken by Glenda. She was quite friendly but the server- a Spanish speaker- was way too arrogant. While serving he dropped my sausage on the table (because he didn't hold the plate straight). He didn't apologize, just said I will replace it and took it in and came back with the another one (or maybe the same one). I told him 'you should be careful when you're serving a customer' and he arrogantly said 'it's not my fault that the sausage fell and I did get you a replacement'. There was more exchange of words but he didn't apologize and instead kept arguing with me. This IHOP is going to the dogs ! read more

Food was alright- the hashbrown tasted a bit stale but the pancakes were good and the food came out timely. We went at an odd time around 2pm so the place wasn't busy, but even the the service was not good. The food is delicious and yummy but sometimes when I tried to order online it didn't work so I ended up having to pick up the food

Service was great. Our server Rosa was attentive and kind. Plenty of parking. Always good food. Came with my husband and decided to try something new. 1. Surprising visitor after we sat on the booth. It's half an inch in size so I assume that there are army of bugs in side of restaurant. 2. IHOP normally follow their SOP to serve customer and they have to do it under management. No Friday night management efforts here. It works here and there. I do wish they'd improve their lunch and dinner menus. They are relatively boring, and I just can't find anything above average there. Breakfast is a whole other matter. Here's where this and other IHOP's succeed. Those pancakes are delicious. Also the waffles are, although I wish their coffee was stronger. Service for the most part is quite good. This location is not as busy as some, and I do like the laid back atmosphere. All of the staff are very friendly. Cleanliness's is good, but us taller folks have trouble with the booths. Probably the worst of the iHops I've ever visited!!!!! Slow as freaking mollases on a call in order that was estimated at 20 minutes. Well, an hour later.....still not available. Servers are amazing. Great restaurant for a family brunch. Branch owner could've hired more waiters because they are working so hard to get food to all the tables. Food was amazing and our server was super friendly and accommodating to our needs. We went for breakfast at IHOP in Ashburn. My breakfast was fine, but husbands biscuit and gravy was pathetic. It arrived as a large split and flat biscuit with a half of a condiment cup of gravy that would barely cover the top of 1/2 the biscuit. He voiced his displeasure and the waitress said, "Oh, you want more gravy"? He said yes and she returned with another 1/2 condiment cup of gravy. WTH? iHop is hit or miss, if we are being honest, but this iHop sees a large amount of patrons on a daily basis. This location is 24/7 pre-covid and they always had tables available, the manager had served us a few times and all the food was fresh and hot. The service is always good, not exceptional, but good. I can always rely on this iHop when I want something easy and quick after a long night out. The menu has gotten better and there is plenty of choice. The restaurant is not the cleanest in some areas, but there are a lot of people coming in and out so the floors are not always super clean. read more

Pretty standard IHOP spot. Came in on a weekday morning and they separated tables so that there's always one empty one in between. Got the classic build your own pancake combo with sunny side up eggs, and the service has been pretty prompt. Their new special: the steakhouse premium bacon was really good. Keep in mind this is a review for an Ihop so my expectations are pretty damn low. My bf wanted Ihop and I was sick of the one in leesburg so we ended up here. Plenty of parking and seating. When we walked in the whole staff was standing at the food window gossiping. I used to be a waitress so I know how it is when it's slow. Once they noticed us we were immediately sat. The coffee sucks I ended up getting water and Starbucks when I left. The food was good and the waitress was pleasant and attentive. I would return. read more

Sorry, Covid or no covid, the service here is ABYSSMAL. Yes, take out business is more robust, then indoor dining, but you need to have people who can KNOW about multitasking. The food, here,is OK.. the turkey was low end. I have not been to IHOP for a while because of service related issues. I decided to give them a try but NOTHING HAS CHANGED. A homey, friendly restaurant with equally friendly staff. Very nice atmosphere for breakfast, lunch or dinner and any time in-between.

Post event grub session. Even though I was the only non-meat eating person, I still was able to sit at the table with the big kids LOL. Michael, in which we pronounced with an accent, since we had a Michel in our group, was just as fine and laid back as can be. His attentiveness in making sure everyone was situated and ready to order was cool and slightly humorous to watch as he was manning 15 customers simultaneously. He got everyone's drinks correct, which came out pretty darn quick with no go backs...pretty impressive thus far. He then took everyone's order with reading it back to ensure accuracy. My order was basic, an order of hash browns & veggies sauteed together and was even cooked on an individual grill, good looking out Michael. Among the other 14 eaters, there was a massive order of meat, eggs, potatoes, pancakes & everything else in between. About 15 minutes or so, the food came out, and we all were satisfied with our orders. Again, I may not partake in certain foods, but I do catch myself looking at other people's meals and such just to be nosy. We broke bread for over a few hours, having had a good time of multi conversations. & Michael was able to stay afloat with us & didn't crack under pressure of serving a table full of folks in post partying flow. I guess this only happens during busy mornings but the host makes a point to seat us so quickly for us to just sit at the table waiting for the servers to catch up. But the food is always good! IHOP has a special place in my heart, it stands for "international house of pancakes" after all. Their pancakes are light and airy, taste great and are porous enough to absorb their great syrups. You can even swap for a waffle for a small up charge. The cooks have mastered all styles of eggs to perfect execution and this will never fail. I really enjoy their hash browns because they have a wonderful golden crust and leave a great soft potatoie center. Their breakfasts are the best and that's why I choose them over other chain breakfast places. Today I finally got around to trying their burger. I chose the brunch burger which had bacon, a perfectly runny egg, cheese, delicious hash browns and a fluffy brioche style bun. The actual beef patty on the other hand was sad. I could not give this place 5 stars because it's iHop and not a fancy brunch restaurant. This iHop is unique. The place is managed very well and the staff know what they're doing. The servers listen and communicate very well. Even the cleaners are on top of things and are friendly. You could go to a self-serve buffet, but you'll miss the great staff at this iHop. The cooks know how to cook every item on the menu. I've never had a bad meal at this iHop. I'm serious, never. Some comments are a little far fetched here. iHop has American style basic meals, so you won't find meals other than that. If you're not familiar with iHop, Please check the menu before coming.
