Good service, wait was a little long but that's to be expected for Sunday on Valentine's day. The waitress, Sonya, was very friendly and obviously well trained, she took our order really quickly. The food took a little too long to come out, but not so long that I would be upset, likely due to the fact that they were so busy. After about 15-18 minutes, the food arrived, it was pretty good. I got the all you can eat pancakes with toast, bacon, and eggs which were all cooked nicely. Good stuff, enjoyed it well. The store looks nice too, not as clean as it could be but still nice. read more

Food was good an tasty. Very pleasant staff!!! My favorite thing to eat is a FAJITA omelette and they did not disappoint!!!

We recently visited with a party of 12 and had a deeply disappointing experience. Some of our group arrived early to inform the staff of our party size and were told they could accommodate us--but once everyone arrived (just five minutes later), we were told otherwise. Instead of seating us as promised, they filled the tables they claimed were reserved for us, despite our clear communication. We were then split into three separate tables, which diminished the group experience we came for. To make matters worse, it took over 15 minutes for anyone to take our drink orders, while other guests who arrived after us were already being served. We got up and left. They will not have our business which would have been considerable. It's unfortunate when policies are inconsistently applied and communication falls short--especially when it's such an easy fix with a little planning, common sense and attentiveness. We took our business to Metro Diner down the road and had a completely different experience. Take your money there too. read more

If i could put 0 stars i would. Marcelo was the worst server. Forgot my wife's coffee, never told me the kids drinks were not refillable. Then had the audacity to say to my face in sarcasm that he wasnt a good server when i said a "good" server" informs his guests the prices and all menu deals. Im a server and its insulting when he is being sarcastic in my face and disrespectful overall read more

Unbelievably terrible from the moment we walked in. We were a party of 14. I understand we can't all sit together. The manager informed us we would sit in different areas/tables. We asked if she could please put tables close by one another. Instead we were put at 3 different tables not at all close together. We asked if she could put us in a corner booth with the table next to it. She said no... We are a Latin family who speaks English and understands it well. She then brings another employee to talk to us in Spanish. Why she did this not sure but felt very discriminated. The server took 12 minutes to come to our table to just get drinks. Horrible uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. I will never set foot in this IHOP again. read more

Food was great. Service was good. Was very busy but wait staff did a good job. Food ordered came made perfect. Recommended.

I would advise against dining at IHOP in Anderson, SC due to concerning practices regarding employee health and safety. Employees who are ill (experiencing symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea) are reportedly threatened with termination if they do not come to work. When these employees, fearing job loss, choose to work despite being unwell, management allows them to remain on duty for hours, until they become physically ill in. the. kitchen. Ultimately, these employees are dismissed despite their efforts. This not only reflects poor and dangerous business practices but also violates labor laws. read more

Great food great price. The 2-10pm menu is an incredible deal. The staff are really nice and accommodating. Tons of options. The omelette choices are awesome! LaTonya was a great happy and polite server for us. One of the best!!!! read more

The service for me was a no. There was very few good people. The food was pretty good except they gave me the wrong things.

We went last night and had reservations for midnight bowling at 12. We got to IHOP at 11 and waited until 12 we NEVER received our food. Our drinks were flat, we never received refills on our drinks, and it took them 20 minutes to take our order just for drinks. They were still trying to make us pay for our drinks even after waiting an hour. Not to mention the tables were nasty. The tables were sticky. read more

IHOP has really gone down. The food was just ok, it was not hot at all. I know everyone is short staffed & this usually doesn't bother me because I'm a very patient person but the wait was just too long. The restaurant was very dirty. My waitress was outside smoking so I didn't get any refills on my drink. There was no management because no seems to know what they were supposed to be doing. I will never go there again. read more

Just had the worst experience at this ihop. First, the biscuit special was out of biscuits. I then ordered the two egg special with a coffee with regular milk. They tried to charge me $2.99 for the milk. I then ordered a blt to go; I was then informed they had no lettuce and the waitress told me that the price was the same for the sandwich. I then asked for the manager who was the cook. She agreed to take ten percent off the sandwich. I then asked for my veterans discount and was told that they no longer honor this discount because their button was pulled. This restaurant at one time was a great restaurant. My advice to all is do not go to this store until the company cleans up this mess. Shame on IHOP! read more

Food was very IHOP typical, waitress, Halley, was a real sweetheart.... That's the good .... Now: I saw absolutely NO Staff members with masks on even in the cooking and preparation areas... as if Covid isn't a concern. For this reason alone I will not eat here again. read more

Just left after over an hour wait. After waiting our food we did get finally was burnt and still did not receive one of the entrees ordered. It was one excuse after the other and being told our order was next in line 3-4 times. No one was getting food. Everyone leaving. They were doing doordash orders while leaving customers in restaurant with nothing. Beyond ridiculous read more

I have ordered from here like 5 times, I should of learned my lesson the 4 other times, but this is the worst IHOP that I ever been too. They can never get your order right, when ordering online, it's almost like the people hate their jobs at this location in Anderson South Carolina. The cooks don't know to cook eggs or hashbrowns to save their life's. If you want half decent eggs drive to Greenville SC and go to that IHOP read more

The food was horrible. My egg was so tuff I had to use a knife to cut it. The grits were terrible to . They charged extra for a little butter patty. The grits were cold and hard Toast was hard and cold. Not ever going back there . Also only got one egg suppose to be two They need a manager there bad Wake up we pay good money for this terrible food. Will tell everyone about this experience . read more

The bacon is rarely crispy, even when you specifically order it extra crispy. The eggs are usually cooked correctly, as they were today. The hash browns should not be served to humans. The pancakes are good, especially the chocolate chips and the harvest grain and nut ones. The syrups could use an update...they are down to 4 and they taste so fake (b/c they are) The prices are good on some things, high on others (omeletes are pricey) My one complaint is that you leave the restaurant SMELLING like the kitchen...need to fix. Overall: Server was good, food was good, didn't wait long to be seated. Good Experience read more

I always ask this question when i eat; was it worth it? The answer is no. Staff isn't that friendly. Be prepared to have a 20 min wait regardless if a table is available or not and if you don't get up immediately when the matron does the first call expect her to get an attitude. I ordered an omelette and half way eating it to my surprise it had onion in half of it. Diced onion that isn't in the description on the menu item and it was like a handful in half of my omelette. Onions would be fine if the menu actually had it on it or if I ordered it but it killed the flavor of the food and was unexpected in a bad way. Now the prices are too jacked up for most of the menu. 4 stack pancakes with whatever is fine but omlettes with a disappointing small bowl of fruit should be about 3 bucks less. read more

Delicious food and great service. I recommend this IHOP as a great breakfast/brunch idEveryone was so polite and the food preparation/service was quick and sharp. For sure will be coming back for more! read more

I know it's a holiday but this place needs to get better organized. After waiting over 20 min for a table, we were finally seated at a table that was clean and empty the entire wait. It then took another 15 min to order. We have now been here for over an hour and still have no food and no refills or any assurances of our food ever showing up. The gentleman next to us had to tell 3 different people and show them a picture on the menu to get them to believe he wasn't given everything he ordered. I will say that once the food arrived at our table it was good. Everything was cooked well and they still make great pancakes. read more

Food is always good at this IHOP, but the noise level inside is ridiculous. Some of the noise is due to the open kitchen concept of IHOP, but most comes from about 25% of the patrons who obviously have had no home training. Unattended screaming children, talking on cell phones using speakerphone, watching video's on cell phones using speakerphone, take your pick. read more

I am very frustrated with this establishment. On 2 separate occasions I have attempted to call in a to go order. Both times I've called 4-5 times and each time no one answered even though it's during business hours and I got the number directly from their site. On the first occasion when I eventually arrived the servers swore the phone had not rung. On the second occasion I decided to try ordering online. That also failed because the site checkout said it could not "validate my basket" and wouldn't allow me to place my order. I gave up and went elsewhere. I like the food and service from previous dine in visits well enough. I don't know what's going on with their points of contact but something needs to be done or I need some kind of assistance or I just won't be eating here anymore. I did leave this same comment on the company website. read more

We just had breakfast here and it was wonderful! The restaurant building is very nice inside and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our server, Jada, was so helpful. We both had the pancake combo. I had double blueberry with fried eggs, sausage, and hash browns. My husband had strawberry banana with scrambled eggs, sausage, and grits. Eggs are cooked to order and served fresh and hot. My fried eggs were exactly the way I asked, better than I can make myself. Those hash browns! Wow! Again, perfect. We cleaned our plates! Coffee was good, too. You get your own insulated pot at the table. If you want a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast served fast and friendly, this is the place for you. read more

Instead of IHOP it's I HOPE I get my food. We've been here for over 30 minutes and are still waiting for our order along with the fact that she isn't very attentive with refills. I can guarantee I will not be coming back to this location. read more

Well, this place is a joke. They have a full staff and still waited. When we got our food, we only got 1/2 of the order and had to ask 2x for the rest. They were more worried about all the Togo and doordash orders than the people inside. The kitchen staff needs to be replaced with more competent people. The ones they have in here now ( 12-2020) would better serve as lamp post on the corner, and still wouldn't be so bright. Piss poor attention to detail and the mgr acts like he doesn't have a clue as to what going on in this place. I have seen him and other staff sit with a large group of people, taking away from the rest of the customers in the building. No time for that. The corporation need sto train these people on everything they're suppose to be doing, because they suck at their job, especially they kitchen staff, I'm sure I could've gotten better service at skins hotdogs place or the local gas station. If I could give them 0 stars I would, but I have to put 1 to write this. Dont waste your time or money here, we will never be back here again. read more

We always ask for Mrs. Kim as our waitress She is always a pleasure to have wait on us. Very attentive and our order is always correct. The food is almost always cooked perfectly only had one time it wasn't. Most of the other staff are good but they do have the occasional one that isn't worth the time of day but they usually weed them out quickly and get good staff to replace them. The restaurant is always clean even after a rush. Always a great place to come eat. Kim will make you feel like family and does remember the regulars that come in. read more

Overpriced for what you get. The service was ok. The cleanliness was not so good. The resturant is well worn and needs updating. read more

I placed a to go order online 3 hours before the time I wanted it. Got there and the order wasn't ready. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes to get my order. To be fair, the staff was shorthanded(only 3 employees in the place) but 3 hours is still a good headstart. Also, they didn't have ham for one of my meals, which I wasn't told about until I finally received my food. read more

This restaurant needs new management and needs to train the employees on how to be courteous and responsible for a hostess. We where on a list waiting in the second room to be called. Not once did she walk to the extra waiting room to call the people. Instead she just crossed the names off if you weren't inside by her. Then they lied claiming they called us. We walked away after 55 minute wait. To lazy to walk to the area where families wait. I will never return to I Hop in Anderson ,South Carolina . The service is always awful when we do eat there and service is always so slow! Do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. You will be disappointed. read more

Restaurant is nasty! Sat in booth, and there was fruit on the top ledge of the seat. The waitress was not friendly at all and only 7 tables open in the place. Manager was doing more work than actual employees. The place was nasty! read more

The staff were all standing around chatting. We didn't have the same waitress for anything. Someone different for our drinks, our order, and bringing us food. One entree was completely wrong but no one came over to check on us. The two people that greet you and seat you were loud and rude. The girl constantly and loudly complained about wanting to leave. Needless to say, we won't be back. Worst restaurant experience in a while. read more

Waited 1 hour for food finally we just left it was ridiculous. The employees were messing other people orders up we were over it. I would've been mad if my simple order was messed up & I had to wait so long already we will not go here again. We ate at the ihop in Athens Ga the food & service was good read more

Note to the waitress this a.m. that brought food to our table 45 minutes after ordering, with an egg that still had clear whites and a large piece of eggshell right on top...then proceeded to argue with my husband...then removed both of our plates yelling, "I don't know what to do!": Maybe you should rethink what kind of job you take. My food, although late, was fine and I had started to salt my hash browns when she grabbed both plates and stormed off. Manager was no help during "computer issue" and only came out when we were leaving. Don't go here! It has gone so down hill over the last few years...it smells bad and the wait staff is very poorly trained. Drive up the road to the one in Clemson if you have to have an Ihop pancake! read more

I love I Hop! They have the best pancakes around! For the most part the service is great and the food is always fresh and cooked the way you ordered it! The current manager at the Clemson Blvd. location is awesome and has done an excellent job with this location. Of course I'll be back! read more

Service was really slow and the waitress told me that if I order French toast I have to wait longer for that. When I got my eggs and hash browns, they were cold. My French toast came out about 10 minutes later. What a waste of money. read more

This is probably the grossest place you could ever go to to eat. The food we got was cold. The waiter we had wasn't wearing gloves when he was delivering plates to us and he touched our food which was enough to make us not hungry anymore. The pancakes were cold and not fresh. My fiancé hash browns were cold as well. The waiters will touch your food when delivering food to you whether they realize it or not or whether they think you're not looking or are. I wouldn't recommend going here ever again. The first time I went to IHOP was 10x better than this will ever be and that's just sad. Hopefully they can hire new people or management and train them on how to cook food and all that instead of the people they have now. read more

Literally the best food and service we have ever had from an IHOP. I got the southwest omelette and the cook followed my no batter mixture requirements and made it with fresh cracked eggs. The chicken and veggies inside were cooked to perfection. My husband said the side of hash browns were amazing also. And out server Bruce was ON POINT with the unlimited pancakes. He didn't even have to ask for the second stack. read more

IHOP is the best pancake on the planet. This trip was a little disappointing though. Normally when I order on a "seniors" menu you get a normal entre at a senior discount. This time however when I ordered the 55+ breakfast sampler and it was smaller portions than the regular sampler ordered by another in our party. I felt like I had a child's plate. It was good, just not what I expected. read more

The service at 6pm was dismal. The wait staff was obviously not motivated, and it didn't take long to figure out why. After we ordered and a half hour passed, we were told they were out of strawberries and bananas. Half of our party had to change their order. The manager made no effort to apologize. Maybe it was a mistake going to a breakfast restaurant for dinner, but I fear there are also some problems that are way out of control of the people working here. read more

My husband and I ate there often. At the time we used to go everything was great. We stopped going because the breakfast meals you get there are pretty expensive. We always ordered the Senior Meal, nothing fancy, no fancy crepe and such, just plain food. We only went one Sunday and the senior discounts don't apply. Can't afford to eat there anymore read more
