I love going here for brunch. The pancakes are always fluffy here and you always have plenty of options. Service has been consistent for me and if you're a breakfast person, this is a good place to go. The wait is rarely long-- I usually get seated quickly. Servers are nice, but it can be hard to grab their attention when you need something. Free refills on coffee and other beverages on the menus are always a nice perk. Try the splashers!! The splashers are fruity mixed carbonated drinks (I don't want to call them soda because they're better than that). iHop offers them in two flavors. Wow! So many mistakes with our take out order today! We ordered the Holiday family feast. Let me repeat that the HOLIDAY family feast. When we called the place said red skin potato's could be substituted into the family feast. The order would only take 15 minutes and that was great! Love speedy meals. During the car ride over IHOP called and told us red skin potatoes could not be substituted. No problem we'll just ad an order on the side. When we got home we opened up the food and noticed the holiday pancake toppings where missing. We called IHOP again and tell told us we didn't order the holiday version and the toppings would be an up charge. At that point we just settled down and ate what we had. One of my favorite, if not THE favorite, breakfast stops. I eat here fairly often. The food is consistently good, whether I order breakfast, lunch or dinner. I usually come in early which means my server is either Ashley or Pat. Both are extremely friendly and efficient and they are the main reasons I come in so often. Restaurant is bright, cheery and clean. Food comes out quickly and prepared to order. Anything on the menu can be ordered any time of day. Well, it's IHOP so I wasn't expecting much out of the gate but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was actually good. I ordered The Southwestern chicken which is served on a bed of hashbrowns. This was really good! My waitress was dynamite, I wish I'd have got her name to put here as she deserves recognition. She had it for me before I had even thought of whatever it was!! I absolutely love IHOP! The atmosphere,the sweet employees,their eggs are freaking incredible. All I've had there so far are,eggs,pancakes,country fried steak & hashbrowns. The first time I went a few months ago,it was all perfect. This time, the country fried steak was a little over cooked & a bit dry,but,I'm chalking that up as to " they were very busy & it was a one time thing" . I will definitely be going back again ! I think 2 stars are generous. First my decaf coffee came out barely warm . I sent it back and got regular coffee hot. We went because we had heard about the new egg Benedict's on the menu and we both ordered the classic.My wife asked for her eggs to be soft neither one of our four poached eggs were soft. The ham slices were dry . The English muffins could barely be cut with their serrated knife (my wife couldn't cut hers ) . The hollandaise sauce wasn't very good and we were charged for extra sauce. (That's exactly what it tasted like) eggs rubbery, ham dried out, potatoes dried out and my 1.99 strawberry topping with whipped cream tasted sour. They even had the nerve to charge us an addition cost for grilled chicken opposed to the fried chicken for my 1 yr old daughter because she can't chew hard food. I was in Amherst, NY with my hubby & kids just last week and made it over to this location. It's probably been a good 10-15 years since i've eaten at IHOP, but we were looking for a kid friendly spot for breakfast. We arrived at 10am, it was fairly busy, but we only waited 10 min for a table. We explained our daughter's allergy concern and 2 people assured us over our concerns and talked to us before we were seated. Our server was wonderful, very friendly and explained the specials etc. to us. We ordered 2 omelettes & 2 kids breakfast specials. They had their 59th anniversary special of $0.59 cent stack of pancakes! Amazing! Food was very good, eggs were cooked perfectly! Everything was served warm. Location was clean and the servers & manager were very friendly. Our server was always coming to our table asking if we needed anything or to check if our coffee was still warm. Great service. I had a birthday coupon for a free stack of pancakes and it was accepted. The pancakes became a little mushy near the end after the whip cream and syrup soaked in. My advice is to eat the pancake ASAP once they arrive. The hashbrowns were good but a bit on the oily side. This IHOP is our favourite weekend breakfast spot, and we aren't the type to initially gravitate toward chain restaurants. We go frequently and have only had pleasant experiences. I give it 5/5 stars for being an overall great chain breakfast spot. Sometimes there is a wait, but never more than 15 minutes. There are chair and booth seating. It's a well light, lively atmosphere for all ages. If you've never been to an IHOP, they have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch/dinner options you may order at any time of day. My boyfriend loves their banana foster french toast "incredible" and I enjoy their strawberry and cream stuffed french toast. There is plenty more than just the french toast and it seems all their plates have big proportions with lots of flavour. The staff is always friendly and coffee is always refilled. It is a fairly restaurant for breakfast and lunch. We order 4 entrees for three of us, dish is ok but service is bad. She brings wrong dish and she just come over,take always and switch other one with out any apologies. Even we found a hair inside dish. She just bring back and bring new half of the new entree. I am very disappointed with this. But taste is ok. So if have some where else to go for your breakfast. Try them out and see if it can replace this place read more

I'm normally a fan of IHOP, but as I've learned, your experience can vary widely based on location. Here, service was great; we were seated quickly despite the place being chock full (as any place would be the day after Christmas), and our waiter was kind, friendly, and attentive. What really bummed me out....wait for it...were the size of the pancakes. Shocker, right? After all, IHOP specializes in pancakes. But, I kid not. These things were small, bordering on tiny. These things were probably 5 inches in diameter. The amount in both of the pancakes was about what I've come to expect from one pancake. It was a real letdown. No idea why they were so small. I'm not entirely sure if it's a chain thing, because every other location I have visited-good experience or bad-has had their typical large pancakes. You gotta take it for what it is. It's a chain restaurant with standardized recipes and small portions. I personally love IHOP and have never had a bad experience at 1, but my boyfriend and his mother were not pleased with the small portion sizes of the pancakes. They kept ordering more (and they're not big people!) and more until I guess they finally were satisfied. I love IHOP and will always be a fan; although, I don't visit often. Honestly, IHOP was a let down for me. It was always one of those places that I thought would serve me magical breakfast foods. Who doesn't want magical breakfast foods? What I found was disappointment. You'll find your average breakfast foods here, nothing special. The prices are decent, but I've seen better price points for the same stuff at smaller breakfast joints and chains. The service is hit and miss. It's quite busy and the staff left us unattended for quite some time. Not to mention, they did not seem to want our money, as they did not come by to collect for a good half hour. We looked over our menus, decided what we wanted, and sat there chatting. All around us the staff were sweeping the floor, wiping tables, etc. But not one single person even acknowledged we were there. Again, this is a Sunday stop because it's a breakfast place and near the church I attend. The hubs and I used to love this IHOP because it was actually the only good IHOP we've ever been to in the entire country. However, the quality has seemed to slip, the servers aren't as amazing as they used to be (entirely new crew from when we came years ago--can't complain; kids have to move on), and the wait time is often atrocious. The hubby and I went here last Sunday after church because they do make better pancakes than Denny's. IHOP's coffee is terrible, so we just got water and orange juice. Our server took our order and got our food out in good time. The hash browns were weird...I mean, it was like the potatoes were too fresh and the starch didn't soak out of them enough or something. They were more stringy than soft. The eggs were cooked over medium, just like I like them, but the yolks were such a soft yellow it almost made me sick to look at it (fresh eggs, especially from the farm, are often a deep orange color. The lighter yellow, the less organic and fresh they are). They tasted fine though. The current special is a Summer pancake deal and I had the berry cobbler pancakes, topped with peaches, blackberries, a granola crumble and vanilla ice cream. The peaches and berries were canned which I really don't care for, and I don't like walnuts which are in the granola, but whatever, it was all tasty anyways. I mean, it's fine. This IHOP is fine. You won't get bad food here, but you won't get quality food you could find in the city for the same price. You definitely won't get good coffee here. The waitress Callie is great. I'm going to leave a big tip. The food came out relatively fast. We ordered the turkey sausage party with the breakfast meal. It was practically raw. The outside looked undercooked and the inside was a horrible mess. It was soft and squishy. Dang near raw. The manager came to apologize and explain to me that it was fully cooked. We were all telling her it was raw but it's okay because were getting ones. She tried to convince I was wrong and that I just wanted them overcooked. That was annoying. She then had the nerve to say I'll just take it ( and she pointed to the breakfast plate not the sausage) off the bill for the inconvenience. The bill came and she discounted us $2.99. seriously? Another of us had an omelette that came out looking like a tiny little mess. It wasn't good at so we exchanged it for another. The other was great but where's the discount for that inconvenience. It looked horrible. The presentation was well thought out at all. It looked thrown together and it was tiny. Yes, it's a chain restaurant, but the food is pretty good, at least the breakfast meals. I must admit that I have not had anything other than breakfast food here. Ironically enough, I have not been here at breakfast time. That is because I am never hungry early in the morning. What makes this such a good place is the eggs, whether or not you eat them. For those who eat them, they are supposed to be very good. I don't eat them, but my wife does. She finds the scrambled eggs better than those found elsewhere. As someone who does not eat eggs, I find the substitution policy quite enlightened. For the combination meals, you can substitute extra hash browns for the eggs. And a double portion of hash browns makes for a good meal. The hash browns are usually browned well and quite crispy. That fact is not true at out-of-area IHOPs. On some business trips I have been to local IHOPs and found their hash browns a bit greasier. It must be something in the way this location cooks them. Prices are reasonable enough, and you can usually find a coupon in the paper at regular intervals. The biggest coupon challenge is using your math skills to decide if it is better to take 20% off the entire meal or to pay 99 cents for an entree. The staff will help you if you did not bring a calculator or suffer flashbacks when trying to do math. read more

I had a coupon for a free stack of pancakes as a part of IHOP's rewards program. I got to the place at 9 PM. I realized that the place was about to close at 10, so I tried to make sure my stop was as quick as possible. I had the worst customer service I've ever gotten in my life tonight! My male server, who I will not name, had me waiting until 9:25 before he took my order. There were two other tables in the whole restaurant and he stopped by their table and completely ignored me multiple times! He never once checked up on me! I had to call him over to take my order because sitting there, wasting my time. The waiter claimed he thought I was waiting for someone, but he STILL should have checked up on me. I should not have had to call him to my table. It took me 5 minutes to eat and I was at the restaurant until 9:40 until I left. Worst experience ever, but I was nice enough to leave a tip. Not only did my waiter provide the worst service, but the waiters and waitresses were gossipping with me and another table still there. Very unprofessional. I am glad I hardly go to this location and will definitley re-think the next time I have to go to IHOP. Sometimes breakfast for dinner or a late night snack is just what one is craving, This Ihop is exactly what you'd expect in anytown in anywhere, USA. My Cousin and I hadn't had dinner and it was getting late and he wanted pancakes and sausage, I was good with a couple of eggs over easy and hashbrowns. Standard faire and decent service.
