I went to get a phone screen repair and they charged me $200 just to make it worse. The screen is very glitchy and often flickers. Many times when I turn it on the brightness starts at an extremely low level and you can barely see anything except bubbles underneath the screen. When it isn't doing that, the brightness only goes down to about 3/4 the darkness it could before. My screen is either way too dark to see or so bright that it hurts my eyes. I wish I had just kept the cracked screen and would not recommend coming here for repairs. The worker was nice but my experience is overshadowed by the poor quality or the screen. read more

I do not recommend this location, I have a laptop that required a battery replacement. After 6 months the replacement (300$) battery went bad and with no warranty I had to pay an additional 100$ for another replacement. After waiting weeks for the replacement to come in I inspected my laptop to find that they had cut a screw out leaving a hole to the motherboard and asked them to fix this. After fixing the screw that was cut out I noticed that multiple other screw have been drilled in way too much and are now protruding from the top of my laptop's keyboard. Seniors BE WARE!! My mother stopped in to get some help with her ipad. She told the employee what was going on and she needed help with understanding what the ipad was doing. The employee would not speak clearly for her- she is hard of hearing- and then the employee took the ipad in the back and returned the ipad to factory settings!!! THEN CHARGED HER $20 BUCKS TO DO IT!! He did not take any time to talk to her. I had to log back in for her, restore all her apps, and get it back to where it was. So disgusted!! I'm saddened to see the three previous reviews for iFix Galaxy, because I couldn't have had a better experience. A few months ago my phone's charge port became unusable and would not charge my phone. At the time, I purchased a new phone, but was upset to see I lost my contacts, videos, and pictures. Recently, a very close family member of mine passed away, and I remembered there were pictures and videos of this person on my old phone. I brought the phone to iFix Galaxy on 1/2 and explained the situation. The gentlemen behind the counter (Christopher and Francisco, I believe) were up front in explaining they may be able to fix the charge port, but the particular repair doesn't always work. Given the nature of my situation, I decided to risk it and left the phone with them overnight. Fast forward to 2/3 around 6 pm. After calling for a status update, I was informed the repair had been completed and my phone was charging. When I went to pick up the phone, Francisco could not have been more professional, and when I elaborated on the situation, sympathetic. While I hope to never experience this issue again, we all know phones (including screens, internal software, etc.) are fickle. In the event something happens, I will return to iFix Galaxy and Francisco's team without hesitation. read more

My iPhone quit charging and the charge port would not hold the lightning cable. I told him I tried cleaning the port with my small pocket knife which only made it worse. I had just driven 2900 miles across the country from the Los Angeles area with my son who had recently relocated to Melbourne. I dropped in and the guy at the counter took a look and said he thought it was just a dirty port and that it would be $15 to clean. If it didn't work they would apply it to replacing the port. He came out 10 minutes later and said everything is fine now. He even checked my battery for me free of charge. He could have sold me a new port or even a new battery but instead was very honest and forthright which I really appreciated. 5 stars from me!! read more

Terrible experience with these people, especially Claudio who claims to be the owner, and who actually confronted my 9 year old daughter and accused HER of dropping the phone (when in fact the LCD had been broken by his employees when they replaced its screen. Beware of taking your phone or computer here to get fixed. They temporarily fix your device and in a few days, it's in worse condition then when you originally dropped if off. I think they mess the internal software up worse so you have to continuously go back to get it fixed. It's like a bad mechanic but for your phone...scam shop! read more

I can only review my personal experiences with this business. The manager, Francisco, was true to his word, which was indeed most refreshing for the consumer who is just not privy to all the intricacies of apple products. Most important? He backed up word and resolved an unforeseen problem with a phone he ordered from their supplier. Very long story but the bottom line is that I believe this store manager has decency and integrity and I will continue to trust this establishment... at least as long as Fransisco is the manager. There are countless IFixIt type businesses and service varies tremendously based on personnel. How satisfying to actually find an individual who was understanding and willing to take the time to ensure our needs were met with regard to our broken devices.- both an iPhone and an iPad. So.... I take my Iphone in to have the repaired. Heard about this place from word of mouth. They fix the glass as promised. Go in to pick it up and bought a case to put on it to protect it. As they are putting on the case the glass breaks again. So another day without my phone as they repair it at no cost. Next day comes I get my phone back and later notice that my bluetooth nor WiFi is connecting turning on or receiving any type of signal, even though before placing my phone in their care it was functioning in my vehicle, at my home and in my office. I take it back to them and ask them to repair the bluetooth as it was working before you received it as the phone was inspected before being worked on with no other problems noted. They have my phone for 2 days at which point they cannot repair the damage they had caused to my phone. I requested a refund for their services as they had caused the damage and now could not repair it. I do not see how that is not reasonable the place is called "iFix" not "iBreak". After I had asked for a refund I was told that "The only way you will get a refund is if you give us the new screen we put on back." Oh so because you can't fix something you broke, you want to take back the only thing you fixed which I paid for. All they had to do was repair the phone back to the working condition in which I had left it to them. Will not recommend this to anyone and will write reviews on any and every site I can to prevent it from happening to someone else. If they cannot repair the whole phone back to working condition as stated they should change their name to "iSortaFix Stuff" because thats what they did.
