We were staying at the Hyatt and were looking for a close by coffee shop and discovered this little gem thanks to Yelp. Interior is modern and clean with seating and big windows overlooking Central. They have a nice menu of coffee options as well as tasty pastries. We tried the mocha and chai latte and both were great. We also had a almond croissant which was good but a little on the chewy side. one of my go-to cafe places in glendale now! the chagaccino is my absolute favorite drink to order. it's my first time trying it but i love how it's also pretty healthy. it tastes so creamy and deep -- i love it!! we also tried the jasmine green tea which was also pretty good. their chunky cookie was also chewy and so good! the macros on it weren't too bad also so i didnt feel too bad about eating it LOL. there's not that much indoor seating but whenever i came i was able to snag a spot. there's also plenty of natural sunlight that comes in during the day! the service is also really good but the wifi here isn't that great. i usually end up using personal hotspot whenever i work here. but overall solid cafe!! read more

It isn't a huge shop but just the right size for a group of 3 of us. It's mostly solo workers during the day though so wonderful if that's your vibe. I went with the iced coffee and enjoyed it so much, I had two! Iced and quick with great flavor, just what I needed. The best part...whatever millenial made their playlist...I'm down with it. The entire place is brightly lit which is very pleasing. Most seats have outlets next to them and WiFi is superb Come as early as you can as these seats get filled with remote workers for the day. The crew is quick and efficient. They're very courteous but will jive with your witty banter too This is not their fault but there are metered parking upfront - just make sure to bring quarters. Came here for a change in scenery and to get some studying done. The first thing I noticed was the super open, shaded outdoor seating area. I couldn't wait (I actually could but you get what I'm saying) to sit down and get work done. I ordered an iced americano with 2 Stevias (they don't have Splenda or equal) and it was your standard regular shmegular coffee for $3.50. It was ready almost immediately after I ordered it. The shaded seating area is a huge plus and it was a warm day and I wouldn't have been able to concentrate if the sun were beating down on me. They have some interesting images/videos playing on a screen against the wall. It was nice to take a break from looking at my screen to instead focus on whatever was going on on the wall. Parking: there's plenty of street parking. Beware that some of the street meters only take quarters. I opted to park in the structure on 222 N orange street. 1st 90 mins are free and the daily max is $9. read more

I found Ideology Coffee on Yelp when I was looking for a spot in Glendale, which I don't know we'll enough to have any go-to's. I was quite impressed with what I found. - Ideology has a great vibe. The decor and ambiance are modern and relaxed. I came late in the afternoon on a Saturday and it was bustling. Some people there were studying or doing work, others were mingling at high-tops, and there was a steady stream of others stopping in to grab coffee before heading about on their days. - The barista was friendly and knowledgeable and the drinks were well made. Definitely at the level one would expect from a quality independent coffee shop. - For Downtown Glendale, parking was actually quite okay. There's a large public structure a block away on Orange that provides plenty of spots at a minimum of distance. I now have a go-to coffee spot in Glendale. If you live in the area or are passing through and like good coffee in a cool spot, Ideology is the place for you. read more

Just a 10-minute walk from the Galleria on Central. They have patio seating and their restrooms are open during COVID. Not sure about parking because I parked at the Galleria and walked over. Their unisex restroom is super nice and clean. They have sanitary napkins, hand sanitizer, and even wet wipes available in the restroom - all free. They have free dog trees and a water bowl out in the front, so I'm assuming their dog friendly. I ordered their Salmon Bagel - not bad. Salmon was fresh and the bagel was toasted. I also got their Hibiscus Arnold Palmer which wasn't bad. Not super sweet and more on the tarts side. I came here a little after 5PM on a Saturday and the patio was a very nice place to hang out. There's normally no shade but at this time during the day the sun was already on the other side of the building. Would recommend. read more

Finally a good coffee shop in Glendale! Came in here over the weekday I had a matcha green tea latte and a cake. The matcha green tea was delicious, they use a wooden whisk to mix the matcha with milk. Great job on that. I didn't taste thick powder of matcha. The place is spacious, neat and clean. Only downside is that you have to pay for parking. There are several public parking areas nearby, some offer first 90 minutes free and typically 1.50 per 30 minutes. Cute, little coffee shop in center Glendale, this place serves up Verve coffee in a light-frill setting and minimalist environs. Plenty of small tables great for focus work or some personal study time, this place is great for a short stop for refreshing cup of coffee. The verdant paper and artwork make for relaxing pieces to gawk at between sips and typing session on the computer. The service is friendly and quite quick for my lavender latte, and the music comfy for a coffeehouse feel. But there aren't many outlets to charge my laptop. This is another in my end of year appreciative reviews of those places i liked during 2022. To be honest i haven't been here for a while for any number of reasons. i stopped by this Am for a Dbl Americano and a Caprese Panini (grilled Sammy). This unit is very clean as always and shows no signs of wear or tear in the last year or so. The style of this joint is modern, clean limes, muted pastels. Once in the dining area: everything is quiet except for the tapping of the laptops or cell phones. Parking is not great and you are charged for it on top of that. What was missing for me is the Cherubic, smiley face of Paul and his wife Lisa. I hope they are still involved with this business because they have been the heart and soul of it from the very beginning. If not, i wish them well. In any event there were quite a few employees assisting customers and my food and drink came out quickly. I decided to enjoy my drink and sammy in house and sat at one of the high top tables. At 10-ish there were a number of Millies and younger people intently pecking at their laptops and/or cell phones. I realize that this is not at all my "thing" but they must have the concentration powers of Jove to actually get some real work done what with all the distractions around. (no wonder City libraries are half empty these days) They use a very specific and unusual tasting bean here. A bean that has very high fruit tones (dark black cherries, blackberries, even peaches) and finishes with roasted nuts as in pecans and walnuts. A very delicious combo of flavors and unlike any that i have ever had. And i have had coffee and espresso all over the world. The Caprese Panini was delicious: jam packed with nutty, parmesano-filled pesto, fresh basil, mozzarella and first rate bread. This is a good item: properly grilled, nicely seasoned and portioned generously. I could not tell if there was any downgrade of food or drinks here since i last visited so the quality and the implementation of their systems of operation remains intact. If only i could have seen Mr Paul and Miss Lisa. Oh well. Cheers. read more

A very cool spot! Lovely for a first date. Not too loud, not too quiet. The restroom is clean and tidy. There's wifi so you can definitely spend hours here working or studying. They seem to only have one size beverage across the board which is sort of nice. It makes it easier to order since there's less thinking involved. I ordered the iced vanilla latte and it was delicious! Not too sweet. They did have food items, but I have yet to try them so I can't comment on that. Parking can be a pain, but it's not the fault of the coffee shop. Make sure you bring quarters for the street meters (they're old and only accept quarters) as they operate every day of the week -- including Sundays. There's also a parking lot on Orange and California that offers 90 minutes of free parking. read more

A cute little gem of a shop! Can definitely see why it's a popular study spot- the drinks and food are good and the WiFi is great. It was a little crowded at 10 am, but the food and drinks we got came out fairly quickly. The iced oat milk latte with vanilla was decent, but not the best I've ever had. The mocha tasted a little better flavor wise. Not sure what was on drip, but it was just okay. Loved the matcha! Good flavor and not too sweet. The croissants were decent but the muffin was delicious and moist! Could've done without the frosting on it. There is plenty of seating and a very clean restroom.
