My wife and I go here often. We really enjoy the hibachi steak, shrimp, chicken, and scallops. The fried dumplings and hot sour soup is some of the best I've ever eaten. They also have excellent sushi. I highly recommend Ichiro. read more

I'm giving it 4 stars because #1 the food is great. Very high quality Chinese food. I've been here a few times and the orange chicken is outstanding, the lo mein is excellent, the sushi is fresh and delicious. I especially enjoy the Singapore noodle dish and highly recommend it. My kids LIVE the Goyoza dumplings. The staff is friendly but the waitresses are a bit short staffed so expect some delay there. I like the ambiance albeit a bit dark, (I kinda like that actually). Pricing wise I'd say it's a little on the higher price but it's worth it. This is my go to Chinese in Dickson. Be aware it's closed on Tuesdays I believe. read more

In short, the owner needs to find a new manager. The male, identified as the Manager by my server was aggregiously rude. He demanded I go to the table and pay my tab. This was my first time patronizing this establishment and I did not know the protocol. My server barely spoke to me and just sat things down and would walk off. The manager was standing at the welcome desk where the POS system wS located and where the waitress settled my tab. He couldn't be bothered. Food is certainly an overriding factor to an experience and whether you will return, I however customer service is a key determining factor to me personally. It seems if you are a regular, you get preferential treatment. Also, if you order alcohol, the Manager will gladly step away and serve these patrons. The Manager not only was rude but acted as though he had disdain for females. Never will I give this restaurant a second chance. I suggest the owner/operator thinks twice about keeping this person as the welcoming face of his establishment. I suspect he is a real gem to work with amongst the staff. The hot and sour soup was hot but not spicy. My Lady's wonton soup was very good. The hibachi shrimp was good, almost a dozen large shrimp on the platter. My Lady got teriyaki steak.. and the veggies were great but not the steak. Update: Her steak lays on the plate uneaten after the first bite. My shrimp was DELICIOUS as were the veggies with it The server brought me gyoza instead of dumplings, couldn't understood me and had to get the manager to translate.. who told me I didn't know the difference. Just be aware, this place is only open for take out! We ordered the spring roll (2), I thought it was good and so was the sauce. We also ordered a Valentine Roll and a Lobster Roll. First and foremost the food is amazing!! I've always ordered from this place usually on Friday evenings. I always call my order in early about 4:30 bc I get off work at 5pm. When I went in to pick up my order I gave him my phone number and he asked for payment.. totally my mistake I gave him my debit card which had just expired and was still in my wallet .. (my mistake) but he rudely shouted across the whole bar and seating area that my card had been declined for for the food I had ordered. I said I'm sorry I gave you the wrong card and please use this card. I have never been so humiliated and so embarrassed!!! And after my card was ran and approved and I signed for it .. after being so humiliated I left NO tip (which I normally do even tho I don't dine in) he took receipt and walked away only leaving me to question which order to go was mine !!! I looked at phone number on printed receipt (which I knew was mine) and walked out!! I will never be back again!!! My husband had the beef Pad Thai, he said the noodles were tough, he has had better, but that it was good. Our appetizer was Crab Rangoon. I really liked it, again my husband said "eehhhh... (waving hand sideways like as rocking boat) it was alright. It didn't look like Crab Rangoon." We tried Ichiro again last Friday night. I had Teriyaki Chicken, and my guy had Pad Thai. I've always been skeptical of places that offer too many options (Japanese + Chinese + Thai), but our dishes were truly tasty. We were even sitting near the sushi bar, and the items that the chef was placing on the counter looked amazing -- no tuna scrape in (my) sight. The place was packed, but our service was excellent -- both from the man who seems to be the host/manager/owner and our server. It was a great dining experience. They had every Asian cuisine on the menu which was discouraging. I order from the Japanese menu with a salmon skin salad, eel rice plate and a tuna roll of some sort. My friend ordered some dumplings and other Chinese food. I tired some of the Chinese food but didn't care for it but I absolutely enjoyed the Japanese menu. The salmon skin salad was refreshing and light, had long pieces of salamis skin, cucumber, and roe in a light vinaigrette. The eel was very well prepared with a char flavor. Great food! Presentation was perfect. Wait staff very attentive. I had a bowl of hot and sour soup, crab Rangoon, and the Triple delight. Soup was thick and savory. Rangoon was good with sweet sauce. Triple delight had chicken, shrimp, and beef in light sauce with mixed vegetables. My daughter had shu mai dumplings, Philadelphia roll, unagi sushi, scallop habichi.
