a piece of paper that says you are heading for a land of sunshine

This was legitimately the worse place I have ever eaten. I'd rather eat a hotdog from a homeless man. It must have done some serious damage because my fortune cookie said I would see the land of sunshine.

    Bland hibachi

I've been to this place several times throughout many years and I've never remembered it being this bland. I Started with the hibachi and got chili sauce on it. It tasted so bland and not flavorful. It was as if they are watering stuff down. The hot and sour soup and egg drop soup were both COLD. The stuffed "clams" were in muscle shells...They serve muscles on the halfshell. Hmmm. The fried scallops and shrimp were overdone and chewy. The fruit on the bar may have not been fully ripe and was hard. The sweet waitress making rounds was always nice and on top of our drinks though. Might not be coming back here

Had lunch today, food is always good, service is pretty good. Lots of food to pick from. I love to get food and them grill it on the open grill. The place is clean and the restrooms are kept clean as well.

This was the absolute WORSE place I've ever eatien.

For a buffet it's pretty decent. All of it was pretty good. We went on a Sunday so it will guarantee that the food is fresh!

It's Chinese buffet--it tastes the same as other decent Chinese buffets, but this one is better.

This place needs to double the chef's salary, cause that person can cook! Like many places that serve excellent food in rural Tennessee, it is nothing spectacular. In fact, you'd never suspect that inside that nondescript building, where two kitchen workers are shooting hoops on the two goals behind the place, is a culinary nirvana. Parking lot was packed, always a great indicator. I highly recommend this place. I also like serving myself. Always feel bougie when folks wait on me. No worries here. They're prompt with the drinks and the rest is up to you. The price is more than reasonable. Two people at the dinner buffet, gave the cashier 30 bucks and got paper change. Can't beat that with a stick.

They had chow mein noodles but they needed to be replenished. Just as a heads up, the (so called) "crab" ragoons are NOT crab but IMITATION crab. If you could only know how that junk is made, you would NEVER eat it again!!!!! The "service " was sorely lacking. The server couldn't understand us when we asked her if she had club soda. Also, she NEVER came back to check on us or take our empty dishes. Ambience???? Not here. A little on the noisy side. No romance and seating is only fair to middling. As far as a return trip.....well, maybe we will try something on the menu next time. We will see....the jury is still out on this one. will update soon.

The hot and sour soup, a staple of all of my orders, has completely lost its pleasant bit of heat, is entirely bland and flavorless, and even worse, it's gotten so thick and gelatinous that it's unpleasant to slurp. The sesame chicken is still ok, though the meat runs tougher and chewier than past orders. I will give them credit for continuing to pack the to go box as tightly as possible, so you're really getting a lot of chicken. Only a piece or two of broccoli, so, if you're looking for a chicken and veg combo, I'd recommend adding a side of steamed broccoli. The dumplings are still good, and generous with an order being 10 dumplings.

Sesame chicken wasn't too bathed in the sauce and it had just the right amount of crunch. The fried rice, in my opinion, could use more seasoning but other than that, the combination hit the spot. My only gripe was with the Hot & Sour Soup. It was lacking in flavor and it was oddly sweet. It was missing the vinegar flavor that I'm so used to. Can't complain though since the entire meal was less than $10. Service was also very nice as well.

The inside goes beyond your typical neighborhood Chinese spot, with grand décor that sets the mood. The staff is always friendly and even brings out complimentary kimchi and peanuts to start. Their combo prices are incredibly fair (around $20), and each one comes loaded with fresh veggies, ramen noodles, and fish balls. The sauce bar is next level too, with fresh cilantro and green onion, sesame sauce, and chili oil, all ready to be mixed to your taste. Whenever soup season hits (and it's coming up), I instantly start craving their spicy hot pot beef combo!!
