How do you mess up veggie sushi?
Brad G.

Worst We arrived and the sushi chef was "out at the store buying some items" so we had to wait a bit. When we finally ordered, we started with miso soup. What we got was not miso soup it was more like a beef broth with random things floating in it. Then our sushi came out and it was gummy seaweed and the veggies had a weird flavor. Oh and they were also out of TEA! How does a sushi restaurant run out of tea?! Do not try this place it's not worth it.

Looks promising from just the sign by outside.

Found a traditional bento box finally, but what is with it that it seems most Japanese places in Columbus feature hibachi grills? Tastes that different here or does being entertained with your food just that important over more quiet dinning experience. Curious minds want to know??? For $14 got Miso soup along with salad to start. Hard to mess around with the soup, but instead of traditional ginger dressing had an onion creamy one. Talk about how to ruin a salad. Wasn't told until I complained as I was paying that they did have ginger. I asked when I ordered about ginger dressing and waitress acted like they didn't have it. White rice instead of sticky rice ball. Shrimp sashimi was the best I have had. Teriyaki shrimp was good and so was the California roll. Lunch portion still gave me a second meal, but EBS and other big eaters would have finished it all and had room for dessert. Still plan to come back again. Prices and service are fair, but had to ask for chop sticks. Will continue to search for a Japanese place that comes even close to Yotsuba - EBS is laughing at that idea right now, or Aki in Ypsilanti - which should be possible.

This was the worst meal, service, menu, experience I've had with a restaurant in a long time. I ordered through Uber Eats. I will include pictures. I ordered the hibachi chicken, and the duck spring rolls. The picture shows traditional fried spring rolls. I received my chicken and it was dry and rubbery. It included shrimp which i am allergic to, and is not included in the description on the menu. I could not eat it. The spring rolls were, get this, made with tortilla shells. They weren't even heated or fried. I called to complain because surely they got these from another restaurant. Maybe a Mexican one? No. These are their Japanese spring rolls. Made with lettuce, some kind of meat, maybe italian dressing? and tortilla shells! Cut up in pieces! I called to complain. I got called LADY angrily after every sentence. They should be ashamed of themselves. Do NOT order from here. Go get some tortilla shells and make your own spring rolls.

The waiters were all very friendly. It's brand new just opened, very nice inside. 4 hibachi tables one within a more secluded area. The sushi was really good. I recommend the Mexican roll and the Superman (it was our favorite!) The lunch hibachi prices were really good. Ginger dressing wasn't my favorite but the food was good! Our group had chicken steak and shrimp and if was all delicious! Our chef was awesome, so entertaining as he cooked our food. You should try it!! We tried it again and today and were impressed again. I'm moving my 4 star rating up to a 5. Yet again the service was great and the food was wonderful. We went for just sushi this time. Got a salad and soup on the house. The dressing still isn't my favorite but it was better than last time, not quite as thin. The King roll was my favorite this time! The presentation was awesome! Great job to their sushi chef!

Two visits deep (brunch AND dinner) and this place has a 100% hit rate in our household. That's not…read moreeasy to achieve. The prices are refreshingly fair, the food comes out fresh every single time, and the vegetarian options? Chef's kiss. I blanked on the name of my dish but my taste buds definitely remember it. My husband, a man of few words when it comes to food compliments, was also thoroughly impressed with his meal. If you're on the fence, consider this your sign. We'll be back. Probably soon.

Curiosity satisfied…read more. We dropped by without reservation for Saturday dinner, they had seating at the bar area or the high table. We chose the latter. The place is not big and they usually have large parties coming in, thus fills the space quickly. We started with Tofu chicharron which we were expecting to be crispy - because chicharron means 'crackling pork rinds' but these Tofu were soft a lil disappointed there. We tried the pork sisig, it was okay. It has this mayo topping and there's an overpowering taste of ginger which is not typical of sisig. We enjoyed the grilled pork belly though, marinated enough and it's complimented with soy vinegar dip. The pancit on the other hand was very greasy. The oil was pooling at the bottom of the bowl. Taste was was just okay. It has way too many chinese sausage in it. We completed our meal with Ube Carioca, it is this chewy rice cake that is deep fried with glazed sweetness & that was okay as well. We wanted the mango sago, however they were out. The service was prompt and adequate parking space.

My first good experience with Bibibop. There has always been an issue with the food or the service…read moreor something. And with the concept, I think. Bibibop is not Korean. Or rather, it's ballpark Korean, kind of like Taco Bell is in the ballpark of Mexican food. It's kind of like Chipotle: you can build your own bowl. Start with greens or rice or noodles. Sweet potato noodles, which don't taste like sweet potato, but come across as close to rice noodles. I also got the Korean beef, which is pretty much bulgogi. And a few veggies: corn, pickled onions, sprouts. I forgot the avocado I wanted, but that is extra anyway. I got all that as a free bowl because I have the app. You had to spend five dollars, so I got a side of pineapple and a drink, for six dollars total. So yes, free food probably swayed my opinion a bit. But also it was pretty good, and at least slightly healthy. And the service and atmosphere were excellent. Helped by a couple of people behind the counter, and they were fast, friendly, and helpful. The place is bright and clean. Not super big, but with efficient seating for a couple dozen people. Parking was easy. All in all a good experience. I'm still not a huge fan, because I like real Korean food and this only hints at that. But for a fast, reasonably cheap, reasonably healthy meal, this is a decent option.
