Located along Hixson Pike, it is easy to find and has a decent amount of parking. It's in a small strip mall with parking adjacent to the building as well as across a traffic lane. The overall parking area is tight, so be cautious as you select your space. Walking in, the area is bright and clean. The ordering counter is directly in front with a large menu on the wall overhead. There is also a kiosk to place your order, although the server said I could also order from him. That is what I wound up doing, although I did see several subsequent customers use the kiosk. It did not look like they were having any trouble, so that would seem to be a viable option. The restaurant was over half full and there were several take out orders picked up while I was waiting. The pickup point is on the end of the counter to the right. My food took about 15 minutes to arrive. It was very well packaged. The Atlantic and Shogun poke bowls were both excellent. The base rice seemed to be the same between the dishes and was a solid base to build on. The additional ingredients were all fresh and flavorful. The salmon and tuna were fresh and plentiful. My dining partner and I both were surprised at how filling the bowls were and we each had unexpected leftovers. Overall, Ichi Ramen is an excellent addition to the Hixson restaurant options. They offer an excellent meal for a fair price in a clean and bright location. read more

Oh my goodness! All the people who wrote five stars were and are absolutely right! The depth of flavor in the broth was incredible. I had the Tonkatsu ramen and my partner had the Miso udon. Both were delicious. And the portions were generous. Now let's talk about Elsa, the sweet young woman who explained the difference in the broths to us and took our order. She was friendly and very kind. She had a big smile that she shared willingly Thank-you Ela. The interior of the restaurant was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this spot! read more

Was craving a bit of Ramen to eat when I went home to watch Naruto, and didn't feel like driving all the way downtown to Attack of the Tatsu, so I popped in to try it out to see if it was any good. (honestly haven't had too many Ramen places around town) ordering at the self-serve kiosk was a dream, the 7 to 10 minute wait was wonderfully time appropriate, and by the time I got it home, it was still completely hot enough to eat, that it would still be wonderful! Absolutely incredible! The prices seemed hefty at first but oh my gosh is it worth it. The proportions are HUGE, even the $4 spicy crab salad appetizer is enough to feed one person. It was 70 dollars for three people (two udons, one poke bowl, three drinks, an appetizer). The quality of the greens and seafood was phenomenal, tasted like it was fresh outta the farm. Food was good service was terrible. We ordered sushi and the person I was with has a shellfish allergy so she ordered one without shellfish. Both sushi rolls were on the same plate and when I asked about it the lady rudely said it was just one roll. We waited for another 15 minutes before I went up there again and was rudely told they put both rolls on one dish. read more
