Atmosphere festive noise level-varied seating areas, many options and good service! Server was well versed in description of menu items. Prices moderate for portions. Dessert yummy-drinks varied.

The shoyu ramen is delicious. This restaurant is chic and inviting. Service is incredible; courteous and hospital. I will be returning as I have found a new home.

This was incredibly fresh and flavorful sushi! We've been back two times since our first visit. I highly recommend the Toro Tuna Belly Nigiri! The crocante noodles are also a must for a shareable plate. And you DEFINITELY need to get the NORI CORN BREAD! We came here for my daughter's birthday and had an excellent experience. The food was delicious, service was friendly and professional and the ambience was sleek and modern. We had the soft shell crab, ribs and several hand rolls. All were superb. I am excited to have another restaurant of this caliber in downtown Chattanooga. I will be recommending Torikaya to all my friends.

Customer service was so great! Food was amazing!! Will recommend to people. I will definitely return

    Sake flight

If you're reading this, it was day 4 of them being opened when I visited. Service was as expected but overall good. Be patient people. Also, everyone was very kind and attentive. But it's busy. Which is a good thing. Overall this place is fun. Menu is great. I'm a big fan of yakitori - lived in Queens NY and bought it on the street - so glad to see it in Chatt. Is it street yakitori? No. But is it good? Yes. Personally didn't love the chicken hearts but recommend the tuna and unagi. The sushi is solid. Nigiri and sashimi tuna, snapper, toro were very good. Nori cornbread makes a great dessert, although it's offered as a small plate. Sake is also very good. Look forward to returning in the future.

Whiskey club is enticing. Worth it? Not sure

However, the excellent customer service more than makes up for it! We had a party of four and were able to seat ourselves while the waiter came over to take our orders. Everyone was super attentive and the service was fast. One server brought us our waters and was incredibly nice. Then another staff member came over to greet us and take our orders. Another gentleman brought out our fries and checked to see if we were ready to order our entrees, but we had already placed our orders. I really appreciated how attentive everyone was throughout our visit! Our food came out in a good amount of time. I ordered the miso ramen, and let me just say--it was a 10/10! The flavors were absolutely spectacular. I've never had tofu that good, and it was served on the side. The way the edamame was seasoned and paired with the broth was simply TOO GOOD! My wife ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which she really enjoyed. I tasted the broth, and it was definitely different from mine, but in a good way! My son also enjoyed his fries, which were fried to perfection. Needless to say, I HAVE to come back before I hit the road and head home!

The restaurant was still there and it was very tasty. We took a seat at the bar and it took my mom and I a few minutes so decide. I got a rainbow roll and a salmon/avocado roll. Being from Portland OR, I am used to non sushi track being significantly more expensive. The total for my rolls was $16+$7.50=$23.50. Not only is the total low, the rolls were twice as large as they are in Portland. I was very happy and quite satisfied with these two rolls. Hopefully I will make it back to Knoxville within two years if not sooner. Anaba is a great restaurant with excellent service and ambiance. Recommend highly.

The staff were all super friendly, quick to respond and check-in and delivered as you'd hope for lunch! Today I tried the miso soup and a sushi selection featuring tuna and I really liked it! I will have to come back sometime and continue to tour the menu (there are a lot of options, including hibachi, ramen and other specialty dishes). I'm glad to have a place nearby my office that I can come in and enjoy. If you're off the Northshore area and want some good sushi, come and try. SYOY!
