I've always loved Soho. It has been my go to spot since they opened. I usually don't write reviews, but I must pot this. I ordered my standard Hibachi Chicken with fried rice and like always it is pretty good for a hibachi restaurant. On this trip I ordered their clear soup. I get home and open my soap and find unusual things floating around. After scooping them out, they are gel-like with a brown center. I can't figure out what they are. I call the store and they explain it could be seasoning. I know for a fact these aren't clumps of seasoning. I have attached photos. I'm not saying avoid the place, but be aware and always check your food. I don't feel like this would be something safe to eat. Really disappointed. I was looking forward to some soup on a cold day.

This place was really good. The portions are large and the prices are great. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Lunch potions were HUGE and priced right. Service was great. Took home enough leftovers to last for 2 meals. Will definitely be eating here again. I got the filet mignon medium cooked with fried rice...my son the chicken with lo mein OMGGG

How in the world do they have high ratings? Huge portions of bland food, mostly rice, that about sums up this place.

Kevin: sushi chef…read more My husband and I come here once a week since we've found this hidden gem a couple of months ago. The first time we had the hibachi and it was great. Since then, we have started to sit at the sushi bar with Kevin, and the rest is history. He is a very experienced sushi chef from New York and makes a mean and delicious roll. Our usual order is the snow mountain roll which is superb with fried shrimp tempura, avocado, and spicy grab and spicy mayo and eel sauce. It is amazing. Also, we always get 2 house salad with ginger dressing, peppered ahi tuna, and the California roll. This pace is a gem, and the staff are great. It is always packed for lunch and dinner on the weekend so my husband and I like to come at non peak hours after the lunch/dinner rush. Our server today was Shelby, and she did a top notch job. As always, Kevin is a great sushi chef and always keeps us entertain when we sit at the sushi bar with him :) I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Dinner | $60-70 Chef was wonderful. We sat at the grill…read morebecause there were only two of us, and the hostess asked where we wanted to sit. We chose the grill. We let the waiter no what we wanted to eat. He didn't tell us we both had to order hibachi to sit at the grill. Which I have went there several times and not ordered on the grill bc of my allergies. My friend ordered hibachi with chicken and shrimp. She can eat shrimp, but she cannot have onions because of an allergy. She also ordered sushi.I ordered a few appetizers and a side order of vegetables only, because I am allergic to shrimp. I can have onions. We clearly told the waiter:My friend cannot have onionsI cannot have shrimpAnd I only wanted a side of veggies, not hibachi. The waiter didn't write anything down. He came back with salad and soup fo us both. I repeated it that I only want side of veggies bc I had ordered appetizers and bc of my allergies. and he said, "Okay, I got you."When the chef came to cook, I told him again that I only needed a side of vegetables because of my shrimp allergy. The chef understood, but the plate he was given had shrimp and onions together, even though our allergies were opposite. The chef immediately apologized and fixed it. He made sure a separate side order of vegetables--just the veggies I requested--was brought out safely to the table. I asked again is this just a side of veggies for me and he said yes. He then cooked the shrimp last to avoid cross‑contamination. Once he knew the situation, he handled everything perfectly. When I told the waiter the ticket was wrong, he acted like he had already told me it would be full price. I reminded him again that I ordered only a side of veggies, and he finally corrected it.I let the front desk know that waiters need to write allergies down. Instead of apologizing, she tried to blame us because there were two people at hibachi. I explained that hibachi or not, you never bring allergens to people who have clearly stated their allergies. She then began arguing about it. Blaming it was because we were at the grill. I'll let her know whether you got the grill or not it makes no difference if you brought it even to the table. The younger person that was standing beside her pulled her back to get her to be quiet. I think the younger person knew that they messed up. That's how someone gets hurt and how a restaurant gets sued. They still did not apologize. PS calamari is very hard to eat when it's not all the way cooked and it's too rubbery

I stopped here a few weeks ago with my co-driver before getting back on the road. I had been…read morecraving sushi for a while and found Sake Roll & Grill on Google Maps. To start with the positive, the sushi itself was actually solid for an all-you-can-eat spot. AYCE sushi can sometimes be hit or miss, but the rolls and sashimi here were better quality than I expected. We arrived around 8:30 PM on a Sunday. The restaurant closes at 10 PM and the place was still fairly busy with customers. We were greeted kindly by a host with pink hair and seated near the TV across from the sushi station. Service overall was friendly. Where the experience became frustrating was how early the sushi bar shut down. By around 9 PM, every sushi chef had already broken down their stations. I'm talking fully cleaned cases, wiped counters, and the sushi bar basically closed. There were around five to seven sushi chefs working, so it was surprising to see the entire sushi station shut down while customers were still dining. At the very least it would make sense to keep one or two sushi chefs working closer to closing time, or let customers know something like "last call for sushi is at 8:45." We weren't told anything when we walked in. I've spent about 17 years working in kitchens and culinary, and in most restaurants if something is about to be 86'd or is nearing last call, the staff communicates that clearly to the guests. To be fair, the sushi I did receive was good. What I ordered: Miso soup Two crab salads Avocado salad Snapper sashimi Tuna sashimi Tako sashimi Spicy California roll White Tiger roll Spicy tuna roll Crabmeat roll Cucumber roll And yes, I finished everything. My co-driver was honestly surprised I was going to eat all that, but I don't leave food behind. I even had room for another roll or two. The sashimi and rolls were good quality overall. A few pricing things were a little confusing though. Sashimi costs an extra fifty cents per piece while nigiri does not, even though the only difference is the rice. There is also an eighteen percent charge for wasted food plus fifty cents per uneaten piece. I understand discouraging waste, but the combination of those charges felt a bit excessive. The base AYCE price was around twenty-two to twenty-three dollars, which is fair. However the additional charges can stack up quickly. The miso soup was unfortunately the weakest part of the meal. It tasted extremely watered down, almost like plain broth. My total ended up being around thirty-three dollars after tax, which isn't terrible, but the early sushi bar shutdown and lack of communication made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be. Overall the sushi quality was solid and I'd still come back again. Just give customers a heads up about last call for sushi and this place would easily be a home run.

Most sushi restaurants aim for quiet elegance. Sake Roll &…read moreGrill went with giant sports bar television and hoped the sushi would keep up. This place is a little off the beaten path, but the reviews looked promising, so we decided a small sushi road trip was in order. I walked in expecting the usual sushi restaurant vibe. Instead I was greeted by a television so large it could probably pick up signals from space. When I say massive, I mean it takes up an entire wall. Nothing pairs with delicate nigiri quite like a television the size of a drive-in movie screen. The all you can eat menu is a little limited when it comes to rolls, which was a bit surprising. But the nigiri selection was actually pretty strong and, more importantly, surprisingly fresh. Plenty of options and the fish held up well over multiple rounds. The cooked items were also plentiful, which helps if someone in your group is not fully committed to the raw fish lifestyle. Overall, I enjoyed the food. The service, however, moved at a pace that felt very... deliberate. Very, very slow. Slow enough that you start wondering if the rice is being strategically deployed to fill you up before your next order arrives. Still, the food was good and the experience enjoyable enough to land at a slightly above average four stars. Tip: come with extra time and patience. Settle in, watch a good sporting event on that enormous TV, and pack away some pretty solid sushi. Four stars. A little off the beaten path, a little slow on the service, but good sushi and possibly the biggest TV you will ever see in a sushi restaurant.

I came solo lol but this girl can eat. I got side hibachi steak ($10) Salmon sashimi ($5.50) Yellowtail sashimi ($5.50) Crab Rangoon - 4 pieces ($6) Chicken and shrimp pad Thai ($12?) The crab Rangoon was the BEST I've ever had. Crispiest light crunch and didn't taste greasy. Steak was JUICY. Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp was SO good and not too sweet. Tasted so authentic. The shrimp was huge. The sushi kitchen was backed up a little due to a huge DoorDash order so they gave me a bigger portion than usual (which I did appreciate- even though I did want to try more options lol) I struggled to finish the pad Thai so I did take it Togo for a small fee. ($5/lb) Service was amazing too. The server (kylee) was great at communicating delays and was attentive. Absolutely would return and bring friends with me in the future!
