STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! It's not deserve even 1 star. Terrible in EVERY ASPECT OF WORK! I had extremely bad experience with ICH Door Lock Services: I asked to install 2 Schlage locks for the entry door and for the garage door. They installed the cheapest lock (not Schlage), but charged us a lot! As a results - one of the lock doesn't work properly - bad installation/bad product. And, most disturbing - after installation they gave us only ONE (1) key fir each lock!!!! And they offered to provide more keys for $8 each!!! When I spoke with the manager (Mark) he agreed that this is not right and promised to call me to fix the situation. I am still waiting for his call several months later... On time and professional Pricing did not not match agreed upon rate. Via messenger, we discussed a price of $75 dollars for opening one door and replacing locks. It was described as about 15 minutes of work. When the locksmith arrived the price became $100 to open the door and $75 per lock. read more

I was locked out of my house so called 3 locksmiths. ICH responded , as did the other two companies. The tech said it would be a $29 trip fee and he would quote the rest when he arrived in a half hour. He finally arrived after 90 min. Two other locksmiths quoted $100 and $150 total to get me into my house. So I expected ICH to be in that general range. I was prepared to pay $200. I had groceries that were locked out with me so needed to get inside. ICH was on my property for 20 min and the bill was $559! He said I had to Zelle the money and did not leave me an itemized receipt. I was shocked by the price but had little option except to pay it. Beware this company. They were called to inspect a broken garage door opener. The tech Paul and his friend said we needed a new opener because it would cost $350 to fix the old one. They quoted us $250 for the opener and $400 for the installation. When we inquired if they took a credit card they said yes. When we asked why so much for installation that said it would take 3 hours. 1.5 hours later they were finished. They then told us it would be $750. As I had written down their original figures I told them even with tax it wouldn't be more than $675. They then said to charge it would be another 10%. Ridiculous! We gave them a check and Paul said he would email us a receipt and gave us his card which said ICH. When we received the receipt it said Garage and Gates. We then tried to register our Chamberlain garage door opener online and it would neither accept ICH or Garage and Gates as the place where we purchased it. This means we cannot register for our warranty. We then called Paul at the number on the receipt. He told us to call the numbers on the card. They were both bogus. We then looked for ICH Door Lock Services online and someone named Neil answered. He said to call him 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning after the weekend and he would help us. When we called back that number also became bogus. Paul will not return our calls. This company is so fraudulent that it Jobs out everything and takes no responsibility for its actions. BUYER BEWARE! Subsequently found the same garage door opener for less money at Home Depot and they install for $87.00. Hard lesson learned. read more

To top it off I tried calling to see if they could repair the lock their technician broke (which is $800 to have replaced) and they wouldn't fix it and wanted to send a manager out to see the damage. Great service! I had a tenant call who had an issue with their door. A prior company came and stated the door was not fixable, and that a new one needed to be purchased. Neil came out, assessed the door, assured me it was fixable, and within an hour had the door good as new. Tenant is happy, and I'm happy. Will definitely use again if needed. read more

A couple weeks ago I locked my keys in my car and called ICH to help me get into my car to get them. They arrived within 15 minutes and I was in my car 5 minutes later. I hired ICH to install a new front door and garage door handle and key them alike. They installed a front door handle and at the technicians request I was told to go purchase a different brand of lock. I was told the technician would return in a couple days to rekey locks alike. Technician did not show up at agreed time and eventually another technician showed up and told me that different lock manufacturers could not be keyed alike. I had all the same brand locks here and I exchanged at technicians request. ICH would not return phone calls, I was told the new technician would return with a new lock and he never came back. This Company has technicians that are not qualified and they do not stand behind their work. read more

Troy and Neal and ICH were fantastic! We had a minor emergency when I locked myself out of our place with two little ones inside. ICH responded within minutes and were able to get me back and and reunited quickly and easily. They were fast and incredibly accommodating.
