Skip out on the bubble tea and try their frozen yogurt. It's so delicious and like anything else I've ever tried! AMAZING!

This was the first place I had ever gotten bubble tea in the DMV area and I have to say I wasn't disappointed but I also wasn't particularly impressed. I got a coffee slush with boba-- the slush was good but very very sweet and the boba was pretty chewy. There was also a big chunk of ice in my slush. My friend got frozen yogurt (she's not a fan of bubble tea haha) and she said it was decent. I sampled the peach mango frozen yogurt while I was there and I thought it was good! I will say that it's nice that they have a variety of options-- in addition to the slushes and froyo they have smoothies, milk tea, and hot drinks (though I went in last week and they said they couldn't make hot drinks yet???). The location is convenient and close to some good restaurants so I'll def keep this in mind while I search for other bubble tea places in the area. Also keep in mind that they do have a $5 minimum on cards (my slush with boba came out to $4.95). read more

The menu here is very unclear to the average person/bubble tea non-connoisseur. Every time I've ever had bubble tea, it's been the slushy, milkshake-y kind. That's what I wanted, so I ordered a peach bubble tea, and to my dismay, I received a milky iced tea drink instead. I dejectedly walked out, only to turn around and walk back in because I was determined to get the right thing. They do have the type I wanted, but it's listed as "slush" on their menu, not "slush bubble tea." So my options when initially ordering had been "bubble tea" and "slush." Naturally, I ordered a bubble tea, because "slush" just sounds like a slushee... and I wanted a bubble tea. But that was apparently wrong. They need to be less confusing on the menu and do a better job of specifying that there is an iced tea version of bubble tea and a slushy version of bubble tea. I wasn't happy that I had to buy two. Amidst all the froyo places that have been closing down in town, this place is still in business in the mall strip where pho75 is. 5/5 for their plain froyo, but had to dock off points for the extra surcharge on toppings. My mango flavor had a awful after taste almost like cough syrup. The cashier wasn't too friendly. She didn't greet upon entering the cafe and loudly asked " are you ready to order"! I came here to get something cold and frozen similar to a smoothie since I just had some dental work done and a cold drink would be soothing... I was wrong! I paid almost $6 for that awful drink. This has been on my to-go-there list and it is worth the detour! There are so many froyo spots in the DMV so it's always nice when I can try something new. Looking forward to the Spring when the taro flavour comes out again! They have a few unique flavours I am not certain I have seen at similar spots. I came here right before getting pho with some friends on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the mango green tea with boba and she ordered the milk green tea. The place was pretty cute; the menu is on a chalk board and you can also get frozen yogurt! I really liked my mango green tea. Usually, boba and tea places make their drinks soooo sweet that I have to ask for less sugar but their drinks weren't too sugary! What a nice surprise! It was the perfect amount of sweetness. Paid $6.92 for a rotten honey drew yogurt. When I went back to the counter to ask the lady to taste it, she kept saying "I never try, I never try, I sell it all day" She finally eats a sample, okay I exaggerated a little: She barely touches the yogurt with her tongue and says "its sour but that's normal, I sell it all day" I had to leave my yogurt at the counter and left because I felt like I was jousting with an idiot. No money back, just now home and sick with an upset stomach and etc etc....won't go into details. Mind you, I LOVE Reston Iceberry. Nothing at all like the Iceberry Arlington, the taste of the honey dew melon is sweet, and tart and not ROTTEN. Iceberry Arlington, you guys SUCK. I love this place b/c it is right next to pho 75, which I go to all the time. The plain yogurt is absolutely excellent, melts in your mouth with an amazing flavor. I get it with the blackberries and strawberries, so good every time. The price is pretty standard, however now that there is Froyo available in Rosslyn, I like that design model better. It is a model where you choose how much ice-cream you want, and put the toppings on yourself, and then you only pay based on the weight. I think most places should think about switching to this model. If IceBerry did it, I would definitely give them 5 stars. read more

In the mission to experience all the various frozen yogurt shops in town, iceberry would rank on the bottom--definitely not the finest of frozen yogurts in the area. The fruity flavors were a bit too sweet and then original tart was nothing special and definitely more expensive than the other yogurt places. It's not self serve and the prices are $3 for a half filled small cup. 1 topping an additional .95 cents. The service was not that inviting. And the space is not decorated that I would see this as a cool hangout spot. Definitely experienced better. read more

So my daughter was bugging me all day about wanting to go to I every before the end of the day. We were out look at the sites all day then went to dinner. On the way back to the hotel, she reminded me again. Stoped into this shop at 9:44 last night. When we pulled up the chairs were on the tables and the employee was brooming the floor. I told my daughter to go up to the door and see if it was closed. She walks up and pulls the door open and walks in. As she was doing that I pulled up the website. It said that the shop closed at 10pm. When my daughter came back a few moments later, she said the young lady said she was closed and unable to serve her. Why are you closed 20 mins early? I know people want to go home right when they close but if the store hours are 10pm, then you serve people until 10pm. read more

This is good fro yo. Service sucks though because the guy behind the counter was more concentrated on his phone conversation on his iPhone than serving me. It was pretty annoying actually. I mean come on here, pays more attention to their iPhone and tells me to hold onto second while he finishes his conversation. And it was pretty obvious it wasn't a serious conversation. As far as the frozen yogurt goes, I got the mango peach flavor with blueberries, mangoes, and white chocolate chips on it. The quality of the product was solid. My review is going to be very similar to Jess C.'s. I, too, have a goal to try all the different FroYo shops in the area. IceBerry, unfortunately, falls at the bottom of my list. This is super disappointing because it's within walking distance of my apt. This place is very small, and the staff is not very friendly. I personally love the self-serve places, and here, you have to tell the clerk what you want. You pay per topping, and they don't give you very much. I was extremely disappointed. The taro frozen yogurt is great!! I tried it with yogurt chips and Reese's and they did NOT skimp on the toppings! My boyfriend also tried I think it was a peach/mango frozen yogurt and it was very flavorful. They don't have a huge selection of yogurts and they definitely lean more towards refreshing/fruity flavors but I definitely enjoyed it and will be back to try the bubble tea! Sidenote: you don't get to pile on your own toppings; they do it for you and the toppings are slightly pricey. This is not a "pay by weight" shop. read more

I liked the large chocolate frozen yogurt. The texture was magical between a liquid and viscous in that it really melted in your mouth. The topping choices were generous to include blueberries and strawberries. Overall, I give this place a thumbs up. read more

So, today I went to this "establishment"... for last time... Where to begin... I ordered a medium froyo; plain with m&m's. Can't mess that up right? WRONG. It tasted instantly of "I want my money back" but I didn't want to just write them off completely (maybe the bubble tea my homies ordered was good?) WRONG. OMG, if you can't make bubble tea correctly GTFO. They use this powder base that overwhelms the pallet with an artificial nastiness. If you want bubble tea, go to a place run by Asians. If you want froyo, go to ANY other place than here. Even Pinkberry is better and that place is one of the most gully/commercial froyo joints around. Pros: I got my order quick and the lady working there seemed reasonably pleasant (more like a robot) but whatever. The M&Ms in my froyo were good but you can thank Hershey's for that. The price was alright... Cons: EVERYTHING. Powdery tasting bubble tea with half-assed tapioca. Nasty froyo that tasted chemically treated. If you want something good, go to the Pho place next door and get their Vietnamese coffee. They're on top of their game. read more

Not for Bubble Tea! To be fair, I didn't try the frozen yogurt which according to the clerk is their specialty. After having lunch at the best Pho place in NoVa my grand daughters noticed the Bubble Tea sign at the IceBerry shop next door. Because the listed prices were a little higher than other places we've tried I was expecting something a little better but was doubly disappointed. The tea flavors were barely distinguishable over the sweetness and the tapioca bubbles were rather sparce, and then after paying and recalculating the cost in my head I concluded that we were over charged by $1.50 for the three teas. When questioning the charge, the young lady broke it down by x-amount for the Tea, and 50 cents for the tapioca. Wait a minute, I protested, what do you mean 50 cents for tapioca? "You said you wanted the tapioca pearls when I asked", she stated. "Well, of course I wanted the tapioca pearls, I'm ordering the Bubble Tea", I replied, whereupon she pointed to the note at the bottom of the drinks menu (but not under the bubble Tea menu) that stated, "Tapioca Pearls 50 cents". I can see the extra charge for adding bubbles to the other drinks, but Bubble Tea would only be "tea" without the bubbles. My reasoning was lost on her, so let me close with a heads up: the already high priced Bubble Tea is actually 50 cents more than what's shown on the menu. I ordered a small taro and tart yogurt. The peach mango caught my eye at first, but after sampling, it was way too tart. Anyways, I got my small yogurt ($3.50) and three toppings. When it came up as $7 I had to do a double take. I should have done this earlier because it costs 99 cents per topping! I basically ended up paying $3 for a couple of coconut flakes and maybe four raspberries and a couple of mochi on my yogurt. It's my fault for not paying closer attention but I am so used to the whole pay-by-weight concept, especially when there is a scale sitting right next to the register. I really wanted to like this place. Being from California, I'm a huge boba freak. I ordered the thai iced tea with boba. Why did I not know that it was blended? It tasted anything but thai iced tea. This review is only solely for the frozen yogurt as that was the only thing that I got here. The froyo here is not self served so you basically walk up to a counter and place your order. The froyo are served based on different sizes. I got a taro and normal vanilla with no toppings and I have to say that both were rather disappointing. The froyo have a sugary taste to it as you are eating it and if feels like they use some sort of base and add processed flavors into their froyo (my observations, I can be wrong) Service was good, the staff was quick to serve us and friendly, there's very little seating inside so you might end up having to take your froyo outside if it's packed. There's free tap water on the counter which is nice. I always feel thirsty after froyo and it's great that they offer water for free. read more

It's Fro-yo so if you are more of a gelato or ice cream person like I am, I don't know how you can expect so much unless of course you are looking to be more health conscious in your indulgences. For froyo standards, it's not the best but it's also not the worst. Everytime I've gone was after eating at Pho 75 and I've always had the same young female service person. She is nice and will let you sample. I like their plain yogurt but if you are not a plain greek yogurt person you are SOL because they unfortunately don't offer vanilla. The mango is okay, I don't know how much I like mango in creamy form but eh. Taro, is my favorite! Depending on size, they charge you for toppings (order a small (you know bc I just ROLLED out of pho 75 after pigging out on a HUGE bowl of pho) like i said order a small froyo with topping and you're charged. More you're charged even extra. I dunno but for the price of what they "add in" the amount you get is not enough and the counter person does it so it makes me want to shake them and be like "more oreo crumbs PLEASE!" If not spend the dollar or two Ice berry charges and walk on over to 7/11 for a whole bag of candies and throw that shit on top. Boom! Problem solved! and you have candy left over.
