I came in to see Pat because I had lingering pain across the entire left side of my torso. Pat has systematically worked his way through several problem areas, but my issue is somewhat like whack-a-mole, every time we make progress on one area a new issue presents itself. That being said, I've gone from being in constant pain to as close to normal as I've felt since November 2019. We've worked through a rib issue, an intercostal chest issue, a neck issue, and recently Pat found that my left lat was also very tight. While I was making good progress, after Pat worked on my lat I felt nearly 100%. Not only is Pat a great PT, I love how personable he is. He's always texting me about my progress and making sure things are going well. Pat is very good at keeping the conversation going and making me feel comfortable. I was skeptical going in the time of COVID but my back was killing me and I couldn't put it off anymore. I workout a lot and my body was in need of some TLC. I booked my first appointment with Rachel and I have been back every month since I first started! Rachel is the best in getting out all of the kinks and applies the perfect pressure. In result of working from home since March, my posture and back were suffering. The first meeting should be your interview with your care provider and see if it is a good fit. Customer service is very very poor with their staff. All they do is read a script. They don't listen to you. I was most likely on some list to rid me. This is a trend in many medical places. I feel this place misrepresents itself in a manipulative way to lure lonely people who want to be part of something. Beware. They try to suck you into spending money at this place. People are lonely these days, and they manipulate a person into spending money to feel loved and cared. It's a business. BEWARE. An ND has no power to order real medical tests as I also found out from a medical testing center staff stating I need a MD to put in an order. THEY CANNOT ACCEPT THEIR ORDER from an ND. I wrote a review on Google and they replied with false statements. When a place has to write a long, lengthy personal reply - it's a red flag. They should try to find out how to do "better". "please call the office to discuss" would be norm. Nobody apologized. It was so bizarre. I do think they drop a lot of patients. Why do they have a script? Never thought I'd be raving about physical therapy, but Advance Physical Therapy is 10/10; no notes. Evan and John scraped, e-stimmed, stretched, and rebuilt my shoulder muscles. Now I'm walking around pain-free and strong as ever. Both providers are excellent listeners, very supportive through the challenging moments, and generally fun to be around. I have a variety of contact allergies, including multiple metal allergies, and they were very mindful and considerate. In fact, everyone in the office is kind and genuinely caring, from April at the front desk to all the aides. The office and patient rooms are clean, parking is usually available in the shared lot, and the location is easily accessible. If I ever need PT again, definitely going back to this office.
