Great doctor!!!!!!! I've been having knee pain and arm pain and poked around the net for a sports…read moredoctor and saw the great reviews here on Yelp. If people are so inspired to write a review about their doctor/experience on yelp (which doesn't happen a lot, mostly restaurants) it must mean a lot. I'm sooo glad I decided to call Minor and James clinic and made an appt with her. Her clinic is at the FIRST HILL BUILDING on Minor ave and James. Parking is located across the street at the parking garage. Make sure to bring the parking stub with you up so that the receptionist can stamp it. The stamp will ensure you a parking discount. Smooth experience from start to end. No long waits in between. I didn't feel rushed or just another patient. She thoughtfully listened to all my concerns & answered all my questions. She explained everything to me thoroughly and very clearly. She thoroughly examined my walk, leg, etc. and was able to pin point the problem instead of ordering a bunch of x-rays that would cost more money. I left not just very satisfied, but I even asked her to recommend me other doctors since I was so impressed with my experience! (I am currently looking for a family doctor/general physician) Anything sports medicine related, I highly recommend her.

It's rare to find a physician who is as analytical as her, but combine that with her compassion and curiosity, and you have an excellent doctor. I have a complex spine condition, and she is the only one who's been able to suss out what's going on. I've probably seen 5-6 different sports med doctors before her over the past 10 years, and I'm so glad I found her. You'll likely wait months for an appointment, but it's worth it.

I would 100% recommend friends and family to RET Physical Therapy! I came in with elbow and neck…read morepain and left without any elbow pain and some neck pain (it's a long-term process that I'm still continuing and working on at home). I mainly worked with Lia, but also had an opportunity to work with Kim and Lexi as well. Lia was very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. She took the time to answer any questions I may have had and constantly updated the treatment based on my progress. I worked with Kim twice and she was also very nice and helped further my treatment along. Lexi worked with me on multiple occasions to help with my stretching and overall exercise. She was also very nice and knowledgeable. Overall, I had a great experience at RET Physical Therapy and if I ever need another physical therapist (hopefully not), I wouldn't hesitate to return!

A prior physical therapy series at another office hadn't helped. So, I tried MIPT. While there, I mentioned two chronic but minor issues: pain from a prior shoulder injury (in my 20s) and aching in the same side's elbow. During the appts. for the groin, they addressed the others with a few simple recommendations and I am pain free. I think I had 10 appts. total. 2nd experience: My husband subsequently visited them for severe back and neck pain. He is pain free after about 10 or 12 visits. 3rd experience: I went to see them yesterday for some minor tingling in my arms. I am writing this review now because I am once again thrilled. Relieved and confident that I am on course to resolve this annoying tingling. And, I think the one visit is going to be all it takes. I left with a few changes to make at home and some stretches and exercises.

My husband and I had the best massage we have ever had, I am not just saying that. This is crazy! Dr. Thomas was my masseuse, god damn! I was fortunate to get a tour of the facility, they do so much more than just massage. Cant wait to try the YOGA! That said, you get what you pay for with this place. It is not just a a massage, it is an experience. I do want to say, this is not just a massage. It is a wellness experience. But as you see, I have Dr. Schwartz on that list to whomever asks me about a great shoulder-guy. (I work in the electrical industry; we get a lot of shoulder and knee problems.) Anyway, I was warned by my coworkers who've gone through similar shoulder surgeries about all the post-surgery problems, mainly pain and recovery I will encounter. Not true after my surgery with Dr. Schwartz. Yes, your mileage may vary but the worst part for me was having to wear a sling. My pain was minimal and recovery was very quick. (I had the full-meal deal; rotator cuff and bicep reattachment and I guess my collarbone had to be shaved.). Dr. Schwartz was very patient and actually listened to my concerns both pre and post-op. He explained everything from my injuries, my upcoming surgery and what to expect afterwards. He's pretty proud of his work, even showing me a video of my surgery. And his staff was awesome! I liked his work so much, I had my other shoulder repaired three months after my first.. this shoulder's recovering fine as well. One thing to note: getting something surgically repaired is not like taking your car to the mechanic. You can't expect to just go take boxing lessons after you leave the shop. It takes time and a lot of physical therapy to properly heal, as Dr. Schwartz told me on my very first visit. Follow your post-op instructions handed to you and actually DO your physical therapy routines and you'll be fine. So if you're looking for a really great shoulder-surgeon, "I gotta guy...."

He did find and fix a couple things that were wrong, and said that if I followed my PT my shoulder would be as good as new. Almost 6 months after surgery and following PT strictly, my shoulder is in more pain than before the surgery with no end in sight. Dr. Schwartz ordered another MRI and I feel like I'm right back where I started, having wasted 6 months and a lot of money. I was terrified of having surgery by Dr. Schwartz assured me that it would end up solving my problem. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

When seeking a hospice facility for my mother this location was highly recommended to us by the UW…read moresocial worker assigned to her case. It was not the only one we visited though, which is a good thing because this was definitely not the place we wanted for her to spend her final days in. For starters their hospice wing was at capacity. As a result they were placing hospice cases on their transitional wing, which is for patients which are rehabbing out. They advised that they couldn't guarantee a single room, so my mother could end up sharing a room with somebody who is not on hospice. We passed several of these rooms and the patients inside had their TV's up super loud. The administrative and nurses stations were packed and crazy loud with employees joking and yelling back and forth, and on one end of the wing they were doing construction work and there was a sign hanging up on the tarp saying excuse our noise. Considering that a loved one may spend days to years on hospice, this is far from where I wanted my mom to be. I am sure that at some point when the construction is completed and more rooms are available that this will be a very nice place. For now though I would recommend avoiding it if you can.

The meals were adequate. The Nurses and CNA's were quite kind and helpful. My husband is now at home and recovering nicely. Hopefully you will have a pleasant experience at Kline Galland.

I started having lower back pain a while ago and it only had gotten worse. Therefore, I went to Dr…read more Li for help. He wanted me to do some exercises to help reduce the pain but tried his best to tailor it to my needs to make sure that the exercises would actually help me instead of making things worse. Dr. Li not only helped me better understand how my muscles work and ways to use them correctly. His treatment is more on the holistic side where he also cares about improving my health as a whole as such sleeping better and breathing more correctly. I think that's the best way to approach my problems because my back problems could have been persisting partially because of other problems that had also been happening.

Deeply disappointed with my treatment here. I went here 2x a week for 4 weeks, and my symptoms got…read moreworse the more I came here. I came in for tight muscle issue around my shoulders, and I ended up with nerve impingements down both my arms. I'm not saying Dr Li caused the nerve impingements, but it was greatly exacerbated after my visits. After most of my visits, when walking home, my ulnar and median nerves were more tingly than when I came in. Dr. Li is a chiropractor and physical therapist, so he charges for both treatments, making an average visit 2x the cost than a visit to most other PT's. His appointments are also only 30 minutes, with 10 mins spent on talking about how I'm feeling, 10 mins spent on chiropractic adjustments, and 10 min on showing me exercises I should do at home (most of which are already on his instagram btw). By contrast, I started seeing a new physical therapist who charges me less than half the cost of Dr. Li, and my appointments are 1 hour long. The treatment plan I received from Dr Li was starkly different from another PT. For example, because I have ulnar and median nerve tingly-ness, he recommended that I do 30 nerve glides at one go, several times throughout the day. My new PT (along with all other PT resources I found online) said to do NO MORE THAN 10 at one go, because doing more irritates the nerve too much. And that's exactly what happened when I would attempt to do 30. He also assigned me to do 20 push-ups for an exercise, without being aware than bending my elbows less than 90 degrees caused more irritation to my nerves. By contrast, my new PT is giving me exercises that don't put as much strain on my elbows to help me build back strength without causing more pain. I'm glad that Dr. Li was able to help other patients but it was a total waste of money in my particular case.
