That friendly welcome of, "Hey!" as you enter the building. The team, at Functional Therapy Group in Woodinville, is knowledgeable and genuine. I've been making excellent progress thanks to their expertise and care. But it is the connections and conversations that truly sets them apart. Julia, Brock, Tyler, Haley and Megan bring a playful environment and banter in what is the challenging and difficult process of building back one's strength and flexibility where it has been lost or, perhaps, it did not originally exist. This is precisely what sets FTG in Woodinville apart from other physical therapy businesses apart: laughter, encouragement, and a dose of nudging you forward through the discomfort associated with healing. Now, any experience is what you make of it, especially that which requires growth and change. However FTG in Woodinville has such a positive atmosphere that I look forward to going. So, if you were ever a fan of Cheers or Friends, and you come with an attitude ready to work hard and receive the same focused energy in return, I can whole heartedly say that FTG Woodinville and the team inside will not disappoint.

I also found the parking at the office easy and the lobby easy to find/ the front desk staff was always been so kind and helpful and I'm grateful they were able to navigate my insurance for me. Molly is very warm and caring. She ensured me that my issues weren't things I should be living with daily, but that many other people experience the same things. She has a very holistic approach, recommending stretches, supplements, and stress management in harmony. I feel like I'm making improvements already and look forward to catching up with her at each appointment.

Plus, their expertise and delivery of treatment are set at a very high bar, such that the other PT facilities don't even compare. The Owner, Diane, also a Physical Therapist, sets the standard for this high bar, and her other Flex PT therapists follow suit. Over the past 25 years, I've been treated for injuries due to overuse at six different physical therapy clinics. Of these six, three were corporate-owned, one was a franchise, and two were owner-owned, including Flex PT. At the corporate-owned and franchise physical therapy clinics, the cleanliness was questionable, it was chaotic, and the therapists always seemed distracted when they were working with patients. And, halfway through your session, you are passed off to an assistant. Some assistants don't have a degree. At one place, I got a receptionist working with me!

Brent and his team are amazing. I have had many visits to treat my neck, shoulder, back and knee…read moreover the years. The owner, Brent truly cares for his patients as do the other therapists, especially Rachel. They not only massage and stretch your muscles, they give you a regime of exercises and help you with them each time you go in, gently correcting and keeping an eye on your progress. The team evolves your exercises and treatment as you improve. Everyone is thoughtful, caring and adaptive. Totem Lake Physical Therapy got me through whiplash, back spasms and a quick recovery from my meniscectomy on my right knee and my frozen shoulder is completely healed with full range of motion! Highly recommended!

No. Don't go here if you are over 35…read more This practice has a large PT aides/assistants to physical therapists ratio. Really large. You'll get little time with an actual PT, and the aides/assistants aren't always the best--don't always know proper form, etc. With the PT trying to farm out much of the work to these helpers and trying to just be a coordinator/director, you won't get the care you really need...unless you are an athlete under age 35. The PTs seem to focus their time on athletic rehab for true athletes under 35 (and probably really under 30). I came here to begin rehab after a total knee replacement. And I am over 25. Big mistake. Basically wasted almost four of my PT visits from insurance before I had had enough and made a change.
