Food Cart Pods are not a thing where I'm from, so whenever I see one, it's pretty exciting. First of all, do all Cart Pods have names? I love this one; "The Podski", HA! Ok but beyond that, this place had so many delicious and unique options. We had Italian arancinis twice, a sampler of Pierogis, delicious oyster shooters and shrimp tacos. One thing we didn't get but looked awesome: I don't know if we missed out on some gem, but so many people were getting the burgers/fries from one truck. Also, so many other people were getting stuff from the Thai truck. And to top it off... the beer/cider station had an awesome deal. For about the same price you'd pay for a typical pint, they pour about 20 ounces of happy beverage into a taller than I expected glass. The picnic tables are colorful, there's a covered tent if you're feeling cold, people are friendly... it's just overall a great place to chill, drink, & eat.

The Experience: I visited Toasty while I was on vacation in Bend and loved having so many options at one spot as a vegan. What stood out: Service: The woman taking orders was attentive with answering our questions and making recommendations. Our two crunchwraps took around 25 minutes before our buzzer rang and we went to pick it up. Product/Food: I ordered the buffalo chik'n crunchwrap and my boyfriend ordered the nacho cheeze crunchwrap. As someone who despises eating lettuce, the way the cold and warm ingredients are intentionally layered throughout the crunchwrap is beyond delicious. I ate my crunchwrap within minutes of it being hitting the table. The tortilla was perfectly flaky, the homemade ranch was an amazing texture, and the chick'n was seasoned to perfection. Ambiance: Toasty is a small food trunk in the Podski food truck pod complex. It is incredibly busy and it can be difficult to find a seat. However, it is fun and lively with some great people watching opportunities once you are seated. Toasty will continue to be our favorite spot to eat at in Bend!

They both could not believe that the sandwich tasted like a BLT. Brenda ( co-owner) said the combination of the smokey salt and smokey cheese make a bacon flavor. They both loved their sandwiches. MY friend Dave had the Peach Pit. He had the same feeling as when I had that sandwich the other day. OUTSTANDING. I wanted to try Cedar Street . Roasted tri-tip, irish cheddar, obsidian stout worcestershire shallot jam, house mayo, arugula, toasted one loaf bend bakery sourdough ciabatta. This upscale Cheesestake sandwich was terrific. The best tri- tip I've ever eaten. After eating I had to tell "Chef" Cody ( co-owner) he was batting 2 for 2 on my visits to " Wich Doctor". Both Brenda and Cody are great at what they have put together. Great food and friendly , informative service.
