I don't know how he runs a successful business because this guy is a FLAKE! I called to schedule an appoint to get my couches and rug cleaned well over two weeks in advance. I waited for him to arrive during the hour window he provided me to show up. No call, no show. I called him to see if he was still planning on coming so I could plan the rest of my day and return to work. He apologize and said he was sick so we rescheduled. I was a little frustrated that he didn't have the curtsy to call me the night before of even that morning to let me know he couldn't make it. The following week he did the SAME thing. No call, no show, no phone call. There are too many reputable cleaners in this city, why waste my time with this guy? Good luck to anyone who uses his services. Update: 8/17- Ok this is scary. First you post my personal information on Yelp. Then you create some asinine story making the customer look like the bad guy in some immature attempt to save face. I find your antics harassing, immature and unprofessional. This guy is a liar by making erroneous claims about my health! As a RN and a mother I'm personally offended by your accusations. The shingles virus is a serious condition and should not be used as slander. I sat at home TWICE, taking time off work and interrupting my day, waiting for Rob to show up. Don't you know, the customer is ALWAYS right! Oh, and go ahead and pull your stupid "call log" because my cell phone records will clearly show I initiated every call to you. See the photos I posted to support this. read more

2/23/15 The owner has erased and changed his original response. I'm quite thankful at this point that you didn't call me back. 2/23/15 Oh my. The response from this owner is awful. I leave very truthful reviews or it's not worth my time. I did give another carpet cleaner a 5 star review, not because they are your competitor, but because they have fabulous customer service. After I left their review, I was mad that I never even received a call back from your company. I never said I had pet urine in my carpets, I haven't owned a pet since living in our new home. I assure you that I know how to speak properly when leaving a message; no mumbling as you stated. That is an excuse you either want to believe or have yelp readers believe. Truly, your response is unnecessary. 2/22/15 Wish I could give a better review. Never got a call back. I only had one room to clean. Maybe it wasn't worth the time to call back? read more

We could not be more pleased-only wish we had contacted Rob years ago. He called us back immediately and I hadn't even left him a message! He called us three times with updates on the day of arrival (today). He is extremely professional, took his time and was so pleasant to deal with. He left us with a super clean carpet, booties for us to wear, helped us move the couch to clean all around and under it, left us a bottle of stain remover and pet odor/urine treatment for free. Highly recommend!!! You will not be disappointed! Update: we had a new pet stain issue just days after Rob cleaned our carpets and he answered my phone message for "help" right away. Then, last week, he worked us in quickly for an emergency treatment in our family room. We are very thankful he cares and to have found him on Yelp! read more

We saw the 5 Star reviews for I Clean Carpets and thought we'd give them a try. Robert just finished cleaning the carpets and tile in our living room, dining room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and halls in 2 hours. We have to say they came out much better than we expected given their age and how stained and dirty they were. Next project will be the furniture this Fall. Thanks Robert! read more

Completely happy with the service! We checked out a few other companies and after seeing the ratings and comments for "I Clean Carpets" we had to see if they were as good as everyone says. We are happy to give a 5-Star rating as well. Rob and Dean were courteous, reliable, efficient, competitive and did a fabulous job on our carpets. They look brand new! There isn't one stain that wasn't removed......even stains that we thought may never come out. Thanks again! We will definitely have you back! read more

I have tried several carpet cleaning companies before, but they don't compare to the job that Rob does. Our tile looks like new again! Rob also cleaned the carpet and every possible stain was removed. All I could say was WOW!!! I would highly recommend him to anyone. In fact I have already given his name to my parents to use. Call Rob .....you wont be disappointed and that is a promise! read more

I can't tell you enough how happy I am with the carpet cleaning job Rob did yesterday at my home. We have had our carpets cleaned three other times since we moved in and NOTHING came even close to what they look like today. Rob told me they would look better than they did when we moved in and had them cleaned a couple of years ago and he was right!!! I will never do Chem Dry again, I had so much left over soap in my carpet from the last time they were here that he had to put a de-foaming agent in the reservoir outside to keep it from over flowing. He was personable, caring, no up-selling or pressure. Great prices as well. Thanks, Riley read more

After reading reviews on this guy I was excited to get him to my place to do my sofa, chair and 2 bedrooms. I text him with a appt request for 2/15 - 2 weeks out, he text back that he was booked for 2 weeks...OK, I asked him when was his next opening? He text back he doesn't go to Glendale, he failed to even ask what part of Glendale I'm located in (43rd & Glendale is my location)...but the reviews from his customers include Peoria (north of me), Litchfield Park (west of me) and Surprise (waaaay west of me and hell everyone else for that matter), his description states Phoenix and the surrounding areas and apparently that's not the case. Call to confirm before you get your hopes up high like I did. He recommended I call Mr. Clean Carpet Care - dude has no reviews and cleans TEMPE and the surrounding areas - NOT GLENDALE. - He initially responded to my review with a different answer and now I just so happen to come across my review and see he edited it and is now denying our interaction happened altogether. Rob did an amazing job at my new home. Putting aside his two most reviewed positive characteristics-- promptness and fair prices--he's just a great guy, who really cares about carpet cleaning!!! While he was cleaning we had good conversations about maintenance and other related topics. He's been doing this for 16 years!!! Hire him and you'll be glad you did. read more

I had I Clean Carpets come to my property in August of 2016 for the first time. In August 2019 I decided to have my carpets cleaned again. Over those three years I didn't have anyone else clean my carpets. I didn't have to. I had kids, bikes and I don't know what other kinds of traffic come through this place and the carpets exactly the same. The parking lot has some cheap composite blacktop topping that sticks to shoes like sawdust to tape, and it gets all over the place. Luckily it vacuums right up, and this is after three years. I'd like to think it might be me using my shaving cream tactics to spot treat, but I'm guessing its whatever I Clean Carpets is doing. I almost canceled the August 2019 cleaning after I did a little vacuuming, but went through with it anyway, hoping that some preventive maintenance will last me another three years. I wish Rob and his team did plumbing, electrical and some handyman projects. BH read more

I called this company and they were available the day of - let me tell you, this job was incredibly difficult! Robert had to run hose from my second story unit across a dog park to the back of the building!! It was crazy - he was AWESOME, I have never seen anyone work so hard and the results were amazing. Let's talk about DOG PEE - if you have this problem like I do, he is a miracle worker, so glad I found him. I have told my sister and mother to use him as well because he truly made my carpets look brand new again. AMAZING!!! read more

AMAZING JOB!! I recently started using Yelp to find different services. I read several carpet cleaning reviews that made me nervous to pay anyone. Then I found Rob's Yelp reviews, I was very impressed with all of the excellent reviews. He did such a great job...The carpets look perfect!! Rob went above and beyond by helping me by installing an Air filter and offered to help with other non carpet fix it items... at no charge. He was very genuine, professional, courteous & just a straight forward nice guy. We highly recommend Rob for going the extra mile, he's very deserving of the 5 star rating. Love the YELP plate!! Thank you Rob!! I'll be calling when we need the tile done as well. read more

Okay, so this is super late in coming but Rob was FANTASTIC. I had an extremely old, extremely temperamental, and decidedly incontinent cat who decided that my new $2,000 thick shag rug was the perfect litter box. I tried bleach, scrubbing it, everything, but eventually the smell just stayed and life gets busy so I stopped... For almost 9 months. Thankfully the floors were all tile so it didn't seep through the ground, but needless to say, that rug was a hot mess and I was moving in 3 months. I'd read all the great reviews on yelp so decided to give him a try despite being a college student and not the richest of girls. Not only did he give me a great deal, he re-scheduled and re-scheduled again as issues on my end came up, and we finallly set a date for a few days before moving out. This way, the cats wouldn't be around to mess it up and it would be nice and fresh-smelling for the movers. He came out and did his thing, and I'm not sure if you know this, but he'll take you out to show you exactly WHAT came out in the cleaning. You couldn't even see water, it was dark brown all the way through. DISGUSTING. Oh my goodness. So, anyway, the move came and I had fans blowing on it as directed, but because of how deep that rug was it didn't fully air out, and when it was rolled and stacked against a wall during the move, you could see urine LEAKING OUT. I texted Rob and wanted to see how much it would be to do a second treatment because the smell was even WORSE than before it all accumulated to one side and he said when and where and picked it up NO CHARGE. He picked up the rug, kept it at his house for days on end soaking it and re-soaking it, drying it out on his patio (This is a BIG rug), and finally returned it and it smells great! I put my nose right up to the side she used to pee in and I can't smell anything, and he left bottles both for odor *and* for pet stains. I can't recommend Rob enough. Very affordable, friendly, flexible, he's the whole package! Sorry about the wait, Rob, and thank you SO much again! Sincerely, One VERY satisfied customer. read more

I found Rob on Yelp and called him last minute for a carpet cleaning prior to moving out of my condo. He was very kind and professional from the beginning and I immediately felt relieved knowing that he would do a great job. He worked with my tight schedule and was able to be in and out in time for my cleaners to get in there before our walk through. Additionally, the job was VERY affordable AND well done. Moving is expensive and it is nice to know there are people who realize that and provide services for a fair price. I would most definitely recommend Rob at I clean carpets for any floor cleaning needs! Thanks, Rob! read more

5 stars are not enough to express my satisfaction with Rob and his service. With a dog, a pool entrance via a carpeted room and a grandchild under 5 the beige carpets and furniture get really dirty. I had thought I would have to replace both but after Rob's visit today I will be able to wait another year or so before making that investment. Rob is a consummate professional with a focus on the quality of his work. I will definitely be calling him every 6 months for my cleaning needs!! I would highly recommend him without ANY reservation!!! Melodie read more

Can it get better than this? I almost don't want to give I Clean Carpets a five star rating and amazing review, because I want to keep him a secret! I left Rob a voicemail and he called me back within 24 hours of my voicemail and was able to fit me into a cancellation spot the following day. I live in a forth floor apartment that other carpet cleaning companies said they couldn't do because of the location. They recommended I call Stanley Steamer. I knew that company wouldn't pay the attention that I wanted. I stumbled on I Clean Carpets in a last ditch effort for my fourth floor apartment. Rob said, no problem.... Rob was on time, friendly, and kicked ass getting in and getting the job done. His pricing is amazing. My place looks (and smells) a 1000% better! Thank you Rob! Skip calling all other providers and call Rob first! read more

THE best carpet cleaning company in Gilbert!!! Let me start off by stating that I am a Realtor, I am constantly working with people and need many services for my clients. I would not hesitate to refer Rob to my any of my clients after my experience with him. I have dealt with other cleaning carpet companies (some of the bigger names you hear on the radio) but I will never call anyone else after seeing Rob's work. Extremely great service, reasonable prices, and most importantly, he did a phenomenal job cleaning one my rental properties. He went as far as going back to a property after a tenant had found a small spot in the carpet to make sure they were satisfied. Rob cares about his business and will go above and beyond for his customers, I have nothing but great things to say about this company, thank you again!!! -Ozzy Vergara read more

Carpet Cleaning exceptional, with no doubt I highly recommend!!!! Service was fantastic. Written as a live blog 11:30 - Called Rob just before noon today begging to be squeezed in this week before a guest arrived. He gave me an option at 1:00 today but as that wouldn't work he gave me a 6/6:30 time slot for this evening. Perfect, just enough time for me to get home and move all the furniture out of the room. 5:30 - Get a call from Rob letting me know he is just a little behind but will still get to me tonight. Thanks for the heads up! 6:45 - Rob arrives and gets straight to it. Lets me know up front it will be $150 for the bedroom, living room and hallway. Wow, incredible price considering there are pet stains and years of ground in grunge and grime in this rental. Demonstrates the power of the pretreat and gives plenty of ribbing and jokes. 7:15 - Bedroom and hallway are knocked out and he is on to the real challenge, the living room. I've got a front row view as he powers through and reveals, yes it is white carpet underneath. So far, I am very impressed with both quality and speed. 7:45 - Rob is finished, packed up and on his way. I am impressed not only with his speed but also the quality. I never thought this carpet was remotely salvageable but he took this carpet 5 years back in time. When we need to do the rest of the rooms before we move out, I will not hesitate to call Rob. If you have any doubts who you want to do your carpets, this is the guy. Skip the Groupon scams that tack on extra charges when they arrive and just call Rob for a great price up front. read more

I clean Carpets and Rob cleaned our carpets better than anyone ever in the past and that includes the major national chains that advertise so much ( O res, etc) Very professional in has care for our home and furniture. He went above and beyond in moving furniture that would have never touched by other cleaners and even cleaned some small rugs for free! I will never use any one else again. His equipment is top notch and the results were perfect. By the way, I noticed one 1 star review, after reading the review I realized it came from a irresponsible constant whiner. 1) Rob never worked for her (so how can you review) 2) She complains he didn't call her back. (so she never talked to him, then you can't review him) 3) she embarrassingly called for a quote to clean just one small room) Yelp should take this review down.. S. C shame on you. read more

Best carpet cleaner in Phx. Rob ( owner)is super genuine. It was very easy to get ahold of him and setup an appointment .. Our place is 4 stories of stairs.. He had no problem and even put up these guards so that the hoses didn't scratch anything .. That kind of meticulous attention really goes a long way.. He spent the extra time on all our carpets made them look like brand new.. I've included some pics to show .. I highly recommend his service and will for sure be a repeat customer for life !! read more

Rob gave me a great quote and stuck to it, which unfortunately, many service businesses don't anymore. He did not attempt to upsell me, and instead left me 2 different products for when a stain or dog accident happens. And they weren't little bottles either. I can't speak highly enough about Rob. He is incredible! After losing my job a few years ago, I decided to rent out my house and live on my friend's couch rather than lose the house. I'm finally in a position to move back in. When I got the keys back, I was heartbroken at the complete and utter filth everywhere. The carpets looked gray instead of tan, with bright pink and yellow stains to boot. When Rob first walked in, he asked if the renters had pets, because he could smell something funky. I couldn't smell it, but that's probably because I don't do what Rob does every day. He pulled out his black light and I was flabbergasted at the urine spots that were EVERYWHERE! I'm not sure if the renter's dog every peed outside, because there were hundreds of urine spots in every single room. Nasty! There is an additional charge for pet treatment, but Rob never pressured me at all. He gave me some options, and I decided that it was worth the money to get it pet treated. I certainly don't want my house to stink when it gets hot! Rob did such a fantastic job. The carpets look almost new! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He really is that good! read more

Very pleased with the job Alex did in cleaning my carpets, tile grout, and upholstery at my new house. Will use again.

I have been lucky enough to have Rob clean our carpets for years. There is no one better. Extremely professional, skilled & cleans our carpets, rugs and couch better than I could have dreamed. Really grateful he takes pride in his work and taking care of his clients. Easy to reach by telephone. Reliable & great guy with integrity. We had a flood in our laundry room today and it went through to our daughter's room and saturated the carpet. We are veteran customers. Rob finished his 5 pm job and amazingly came to our house at 11:00 pm to take care of our carpet emergency. He got all the water out! Forever grateful. He is a wonderful family guy and our 5 year old daughter Sofia always wants to help him. He is so kind to her and shows her how everything works and answers her 101 questions with a smile. I have high expectations and it is so nice to find a business owner that exceeds your expectations. read more

I called Robert on Friday afternoon and he was out in Saturday morning. He called while en route with an ETA and arrived promptly on time. After assessing the situation he promptly began to work setting up protective guards to keep the wall corners and furnishings from getting damaged from the hoses. Robert spent an hour and a half cleaning two sectional sofas, and he kept me apprised of his progress along the way. Upon finishing Robert mentioned that he guarantees his work and if I had any issues after the sofas had dried to call him and he would come back out at no charge. Before leaving he gave me a bottle of deodorizer and a bottle of enzyme cleaner at no charge. Highly recommended. Prompt, professional and courteous. read more

I've lived in my condominium for a year and a half, and I had spilled enough coffee and red wine in that time to warrant a cleaning of my carpet, & I wasn't going to do it myself. I tried it and I just don't think those machines you rent at the grocery stores do a great job. Looking at reviews I picked I Clean Carpets to clean my carpet, and I'm glad I did the owner answered my call right away told me his prices which I thought were very fair. The cleaners came a little late because traffic was bad and the owner gave me a $15 discount for the inconvenience. That's what I call a good business taking care of the customer. The cleaning exceeded my expectations. I really didn't think they could get it that clean but they did. I highly recommend this carpet company and I am going to use them when I need my carpets cleaned again. read more

This guy Robert knows how to conduct customer service. I found him through YELP.COM here, gave Robert a phone call and he was back to me with in a day. Told him my situation. He said he could drop by that evening, but we schedule for the weekend (Saturday) instead. He called to let me know his ETA that day. He was on-time. He didn't jerk me around, gave me his exact price and stuck to it. Told me his process for cleaning my carpet. Gave me a bottle for any spots/spills in the future and was done within 1 hour. Living room carpet was cleaned and honestly made me think about holding off tiling the living room for awhile. Robert, you're the man... thanks and I'd refer you to anyone. read more

Awesome, awesome, awesome! First of all, I don't just live in Maricopa...I live WAY out at a pretty far point in Maricopa. But, he came with no complaints and no extra charges. Second, he did such an incredibly thorough job on my cat pee stained carpets that they look amazing. He went over each inch several times and even got down on his hands and knees occasionally to check the smell. He also did a loveseat that was covered in cat hair and it looks brand new. Third, he was so reasonably priced that I feel he may have undercharged and I feel a little guilty with as much work as he did. Bonus: left a bottle of spot cleaner and shoe coverings to protect the floor while it dries. We've used two other companies before and were left with "crunchy" carpets afterwards or just sub par results that left me feeling like I could've done a better job myself with one of those rentals from the grocery store. I will use and recommend Robert again and again. Plus, it is just so nice to receive good customer service rather than having some kid who just wants to hurry up and finish the job. read more

Professional: Yes. Easy to work with and respectful of my home. On time: No, but called to keep me aware of time changes. Scheduling: fit me in same day last minute when my other carpet guy didn't return my call. Quality of Clean: My carpet does not look brand new at all, but I asked for the barebones. The DIRT is gone, which is all I asked for. And they showed me the nasty that came out at the end. They pretreated, cleaned, ran an extra drying sweep then raked and done. Value: Top notch value. no upsales. no added taxes. and they give you a bottle of cleaner to spot clean in the future. I would use them in the future. read more
