Came here recently for the Turkish breakfast. It did not disappoint. The pepperoni on the egg was so yummy, wish they could pile on more to satisfy the meat lover in me. The fresh veggies, olives, cheese and bread and jam were a nice addition to the meal. Finished the meal off with some nice Turkish tea. Very nice experience and cozy restaurant. Busy area, but found plebty of parking nearby and it's situated right across the brown line. read more

This restaurant is in a great location right off the Irving Brown Line stop. I've been there multiple times and each time is delicious. Their bread seems to be homemade and I can't find anything like it in the grocery stores near me. I hadn't been to this place for over 5 years up until last week (it used to be a cafe, now it feels more like a restaurant), and it has changed quite a bit. The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered 3 Lahmacuns and a Doner Kebab last week. Mukemmel. Excellent. This week I wanted to get the Iskender, Sukur suggested I try the chicken Iskender instead, and it was awesome. Out of all the Turkish restaurants in the city, I have to say, Cafe Sukur is my favorite. Here are the reasons: 1. Minimalist, low key, casual and good comfort food 2. Family run, the owners really take pride in the service and food they deliver 3. Very good service, courteous, goes above and beyond. Just some language barrier, but nothing you can't get pass if you just do some pointing and be persistent with your questions 3. You can come here and watch a soccer match or just the news, they have TV's, perfect for a weekend brunch of lunch. 4. Open practically 24/7, you can come here at 3AM and they'd be open. I think there is a very short time frame that they are actually closed, like 3-4 hours, but really, you wouldn't be coming here at those times anyway. 5. Their marinate lamb and rice pilaf are SOO GOOD. Not to mention their home made desserts and baklavas. 6. You can get a nice cup of Turkish tea here brewed the old fashioned way. 7. Came here with someone of Turkish origin and he confirmed that the lachmacun are out of the world good! 8. Their lentil soup, oh my. So smooth and filtered. And the rich aroma. Basically, if I live close by, I'd come here pretty often for dinner and lunch. My brother and I are taking this photography course in the city and we were looking for a place to have lunch. Found this great restaurant within walking distance. We've been here now several time. Great food - Great Turkish coffee and of late their hot teas go well with their food selections. If you are a soccer fan - two overhead TVs showing soccer as well. No frills - simple, enjoyable atmosphere - hospitality is great. Mind you were have been the only non-Turkish people eating here - more should come and try their food - we are glad we did. Stopped in after seeing the good reviews under "Pide Ve Lahmacun", which I believe is the same place as this i-Cafe. The one door to Pide Ve Lahmacu was closed, which was confusing at first. Ordered some lahmacun for appetizer and the beef and lamb pide. Both were amazing, especially the cheesy pide with perfectly seasoned minced meat and great crust. It's like a calzone but the crust was light and crispy and the meat was flavorful with mediterranean spices. It took a little longer than we expected(15 min), but the pide crust was worth the wait and I'd definitely order delivery or come back! read more

Conveniently located right across the street from my office, one day I thought I would be adventurous and see what this place was all about...So glad I did, it's a very quaint but friendly staffed restaurant. Probably the best and freshest Turkish food I've had in the city thus far. If you are going for lunch, come with an appetite! They have specials that include a bread basket, bowl of lentil soup( which is some of the best in the city) salad, and chicken korma for under $8! Ok, first of all this is not a fancy restaurant but the food is amazing! When you go in you order at the counter. Don't be surprised if at first they speak to you in Turkish or Kyrgyz. BELIEVE ME the owners and workers are the nicest on the planet! It's more of a laid back taxi driver hang out but there have always been women in there every time I have gone. The chicken and steak sandwiches are my favorite but the pide can't be beat as well! I suggest eating in the Pide ve Lahmacun side of the cafe if it's open and you are wanting a sit-down, more traditional atmosphere...also don't be scared to just call in and ask for the special, it's never disappointing! read more

I have been here several times in the last couple of months. The Beef and Cheese Pide is my favorite. And the lentil soup is from another world. The tea is very good and the rice pudding is exceptional. The pide are made to order, so be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes but it is worth the wait. Don't judge a book by it's cover. From the looks of the place you wouldn't think much, but the food is scrumdidilyumptious. The little place has about 7 tables and is kept very clean. The little lady behind the counter is very nice and will help you first timers pick a good choice. The chicken entrees are moist and flavorful and comes with buttery rice, salad, and bread. The beef & lamb pide, which is similar to a calzone is def my go-to favorite. I love pizza, so naturally I ordered it with cheese (same price as the pide w/o cheese). A meal for two is about $25, and you will probably have leftovers. Hopefully I'll get to try the breakfast one if these days... Keep small businesses like this one IN business! read more

My manager recommended me to order lunch from this restaurant, because it is close to the store I work at. I was really impressed with their chicken donors sandwich first time I got it. I was not as blown away when I ordered the chicken kebab entrée... but the ladies that work there are so sweet and helpful when you are trying to order food that you are not familiar with. Wr ordered several dishes for our group, and they were all high quality. Also, the service was very good. The only complaint is that they stuffed our take out order (Iskander Kebab) in a very small container. That caused the bread to become soggy in what otherwise was a good dish. read more

This place is a hidden gem with a very low key facade and interior (no sign and odd name), but the Pides are so delicious!! Have not tried their other dishes but I really do recommend the Pides as they are freshly baked and are prepared in a variety of ways. I-Cafe is absolutely phenomenal!!! Although it's a small place, it's a very clean area with great ambiance that perfectly matches the amazing food served. On top of the welcoming colors throughout the establishment, the lighting is perfect for taking pictures of your food. The food is perfect in almost every way. The pide is packed with flavor and leaves you feeling satisfied, but not heavy. In addition to their pide, they have chicken, beef, and feta samsas that aren't even on the menu. I strongly suggest getting the feta samsa, it was crispy and warm, with a perfectly feta zing in the middle that left my mouth watering. I-Cafe is a 10/10 on my scale, and as a cherry on top, there's a pokestop here ;) read more
