Never never never use this company they take advantage of disabled people. They'll keep charging your account even after you drop off the car they have several storylines they will use to you. You will not get a car that they say it could have a cracked windshield it could be 1415 years old. This whole company is a scam. I was assisting a friend who needed a rental car while their car was in the shop. The first car sounded like it was falling apart. They promised that if any problems arose, they could be contacted at any time. They called repeatedly, left messages, and no one returned the call. They drove to return the car and requested a new refund. The car rental was for a week, and instead of a refund, they offered a discount to finish out the week. The newer car was the same. When you started out, it sounded like the muffler was going to fall off. Again, they tried to get a call, so they returned two days before the week was up. Again, they requested a receipt but did not provide one. Then, a few days later, they email a bill for another week, with no phone contact and late fees. I discovered Hyrides after a completely unexpected issue with UCars! I began a relationship with Hyrides on December 18, 2023 and have not had any issues with getting the car serviced thru their service providers and Ashley has extremely helpful in supporting me with anything I have needed! The only issue I have had was that my car was repossessed because of an outdated recovery issue that was not properly cancelled! Josh had the recovery company return the car to me and credited me a day for the mishap! The car was returned in a timely manner and I didn't miss any work due to the issue! This company sucks. Don't go to mindful Rentals either that's his brother Tanner and I'm in the process of sueing him. I rented from him from September 2024 to January 2025. October 1st Tanner cancelled the progressive insurance and from October 1st 2024 to January of 2025 he charged me weekly with insurance included. I found out by accident he cancelled the policy. So please once you get a car from them and get insurance, make sure you call and confirm that there is insurance on the vehicle with the insurance company. Hyrides, mindful Rentals and it's a third one in Tempe off of smith road. I'll update once I find the name. They are all related so they are all scamming. Two of them are brothers. Tanner branched off and opened his own rental service but he is doing the same thing. 0 stars for me... would have been two just for the fact that they can be flexible with payments other than that the car had a disgusting smell when I got it they just sprayed it excessively with air freshener. Being a Lyft driver I need a clean smelling vehicle I did my best everyday to get the smell out but I was never successful. It affected my tips for sure...The owner told me himself that the car had been detail cleaned which was a lie. I vacuumed up a lot of pet hair from the carpets..I had to take the vehicle to the mechanic 6 times in 3 weeks (twice overnight) with payments being $380+ a week, it definitely wasn't worth it if the vehicle isn't operating safely. So I returned it. After retuning the vehicle Hyrides has made several different attempts to charge my account without my knowledge or consent...which is so so sketchy. All I am going to say is Josh is not right at Hyrides llc. He left me stranded without towing in the rain on a dark road without towing. He charged my card and refused to give me my weekly amount back after I returned the vehicle. Now I have to dispute getting my money when all he has to to is refund it back to my card. Lying saying American Express don't allow him to refund it. God will handle Josh and the way he handled me from leaving me stranded on that dark road in the rain to not refunding me my 337.27 back and everything in between that he has done or didn't do. The company purchases old Prius's that are worth about 5k. They charge 1.4k a month to lease them. Not a bad business plan. However, the first one I got was filthy inside and I was not able to provide rides and had to wait until the next day, drive across the valley to their location and swap out. Got a usable, older car. The company accidentally left a set of keys in my car for another car and demanded that I immediately return them. Another trip. I only kept the car a week because of the unprofessionalism and major pain it was. Suddenly, 5 months later, the owner is trying to shake me down for another hundred dollars claiming I kept the car too long. I strongly warn against doing business with this company. read more

I dislike leaving bad reviews but I had an incident with this company today where I was scheduled to pick up a vehicle Friday morning. I scheduled the booking on Sunday so I had to wait 5 days. I get there & the receptionist tells me there aren't any vehicles & that they can add me to the list to get one next week. So the only reasonable question I can think to ask in this scenario is why at any point between Monday-Thursday does anyone in this office not use half a brain cell to send an email, text message or even a letter to let me know there are no vehicles available? Next she starts giving me a list of excuses instead of apologizing for having me drive all the way across Phoenix wasting my time as I live nowhere close to Tempe & telling me that a mistake was made on their part. FIRST OFF LETS JUST START OFF BY SAYING HOW UNPROFESSIONAL THEY ARE. Had a young woman Ashley do my check in. After only having the car 24hr, on a Friday, received a txt saying it was due for an oil change. I told them i had the car less tgan 24hrs and wouldn't have the car that long as i wasnt satisfied with the service. Asked about refund received no answer or response to me saying I wouldn't have the 2009 Toyota Prius they gave me, that was totally broken and dirty inside/out, for long. I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned inside myself. MOVING FORWARD. I was late taking the car back that following Thursday due to leaving late from my first job so had to pay for another week. Directly after i paid Friday the 15th received messages again about the oil change and threatening to take the car and kicking me out of the Hyrides Services from the owner Josh to which i replied i didnt care, respectfully, as i have a car just didn't want to use my own vehicle. They had all the answers except for when i would get reimbursed for the two times it broke down because the fuel system is damaged and the day i took it for the oil change. Took it for an oil change to which Josh requested the invoice be sent to directly to him. The very next day Ashley began harassing me and calling me a liar about getting the oil change completed. I kept telling her to talk to josh as he had all the information and she stated she did and that he was also requesting i do the oil change that day. I screenshot the conversation sent it to josh and began blowing up the numbers that they DNT respond to or answer. He finally answered after the 5th call. I explained what just happened and he confirmed he had the invoice and would tell ashley stop txtn me. THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND A DISASTER. IM A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WOMAN, IF COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR THE VEHICLE. My rental from hertz was cheaper and better condition. read more
