Making a reservation for someone else was easy! My card # was taken over the phone and charged that same day without having to jump through hoops. Pricing was fair and the cab was on time. I intentionally saught out a small local business, with good local reviews. I have worked for small family businesses, and it's a hard road. So I understand the impact of employee behavior has on the bottom line. After using this service to and from the airport, it was brought to my attention that the driver harassed the passenger. I called the company to inform the ownership of the driver's harassment. I spoke with Paul. First, I was asked if I had filed a police report, then I was told not to make accusations without proof. I was asked directly as to why I was paying for the transportation, implying that the passenger lacked integrity... Preditory behavior only escalates. If a driver's behavior is reported as unacceptable, take action. You could be a life saver! After visiting the beautiful Sonoran desert, coming back to file a police report and rent a car sucked. Three stars for credit card security and initial contact. read more

My boyfriend and I were trying to figure out a way to get to the airport recently when none of our friends could take us. We thought about walking 8 blocks to the lightrail station and taking the free shuttle but then decided we were way too lazy and went searching for cab companies. Some companies we saw charged an airport surcharge which would have easily doubled our tab. We found Paul's online and gave them a call. We asked for a cab in 30 minutes and that's exactly what we got. Not bad for a 3 car company! When the driver dropped us off he gave us his card and told us to call him if we needed a ride back. We gave him a day's notice as requested and he was waiting in the parking garage after we got off the elevator! Definitely a company I will be using again. read more

These guys are great! A small outfit that is dependable and helpful. We, my two In-Laws and me, had a hell of a time. Groceries, luggage, wheelchair and the staff was helpful and professional. We used them three different times over two days and they did a great job. The owner Paul, Dominic, and John were all helpful and friendly. If you ask for it, the owner Paul will tell you whats wrong with the government, but he is not overbearing, just sociable. read more

I called this company for a ride to the airport, explaining that we had several bags and would need a vehicle with reasonable cargo space. Our rather unfriendly driver arrived five minutes late with a broken trunk that she explained we would be unable to use. We sent her away. The taxi she drove was also very noisy - I think I would have been concerned that it would have broken down on the ride anyway. read more

Ever since I got sick of all the big box cab companies in the Valley (that often leave you in the dust), I've been using Paul as often as I can. I live downtown and his company primarily services the North Valley, so it's not always that he or his other drivers can get me a ride, but I definitely prefer it. I've gotten to know Art, Dominic and, of course, Paul fairly well over the past few weeks, and they are timely, their cars are really spacious (they're Lincolns, I think? I dunno, but it feels sort of like a limo...) and most of all I enjoy the conversation. I've recommended them to many people and the feedback seems to be the same. read more

The first time I ever used Paul's Taxi was Wednesday April 20 2011 and I was very happy with their prompt on time courteous service and great Ford Crown Victoria and friendly driver. SO I will be using them often from now on. They are reasonable priced and have very clean cabs. So, I sure give Paul's Taxi a full 5 Stars Rating and suggest others try this cab company your self. Booked a ride at 11:00 am for 1:30 pm pickup. 1:40 rolls around, no cab. I called - "are you on your way?". Lost my booking, apologies, someone will be there in ten minutes. They were here in ten minutes, price as expected, friendly driver (Mark), safe ride. Everyone mucks things up once in awhile. It's how you handle the muck up that counts. So I called for return ride. SPOT ON! Paul's Taxi is a local small business as far I can tell. I like to support such efforts. And I understand 'things' don't always go as planned. I give them 5 stars for now, because although they lost my booking and made me a wee bit late, they apologized and corrected as quickly as possible. I will use them next time I need a ride. read more

These guys aren't to be trusted. They lie and leave you in the lurch. I called and asked for a taxi. I was told that one would be there in 20 minutes. 17 minutes later I get a call from the driver saying his GPS tells him he's 25 minutes out. When I ask if there's a closer driver that can be dispatched he says no and he's calling so I can make an informed decision. When I say sure come but that they will pay for it by the quality of the review the driver hung on me and no showed. Leaving me with no driver and no time to get another ride. If a brick and mortar company did this it would be considered bait and switch. Do not use or trust this company in any way! read more

I totally agree with Jerry Z. These guys SUCK. I called on Saturday, March 1st to arrange pickup on Monday, March 3rd at 8:00 a.m. to go to the airport for a 10:00 a.m. flight. He took all my information and said "see you then". I was standing in my driveway with my luggage waiting to be picked up on Monday morning. At 8:10 I called him (I assume "Paul"). He claimed not to know about it, his computer had crashed and he said "I knew this would happen". I raised my voice and told him I didn't have time to call around and find another cab. And if you knew this was going to happen, why don't you have a freekin' back-up plan???!! Ever heard of pen and paper as well!??? The calendar on your iPhone maybe!??? He said he'd call me back in 5 minutes, which he did, to tell me that someone could be there in 25 minutes. Newsflash "Paul"....I would have missed my flight by then. When I yelled at him again, he raised his voice at ME to reiterate "that my computer crashed!" as if this were somehow MY problem. Bad attitude, horrible customer service. Don't even think about it. read more

I have used many taxi services in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area as I come from out of town to visit my condo and do business. I recently discovered Paul's Taxi and found that it is the BEST and most REASONABLY priced taxi service in town! Paul is a small business owner who is honest, prompt, professional, and courtious which is hard to find in that industry. I highly reccomend his taxi service. read more

Excellent Service! Paul's was our taxi service on a recent visit to Phoenix. They were completely dependable, and on time. We used them to be driven to the Desert Sky Pavilion for a concert, the pick-up afterwards, as well as service to the airport. They are very affordable as well. I don't have a car and needed to take my dog to the vet. A friend promised that she'd drive me and left me stranded 3 minutes before the appointment, so I had to reschedule my dog's appointment without knowing how to get her there. I contacted Paul's Taxi before making another appointment and was assured that they would be able to get me there and it was no problem taking my dog in the cab. So I made an appointment and asked if they would come a half hour early so I would be there on time. They were a couple minutes early and the driver was very friendly. He gave me a card and told me to call when I needed to come back. Since I had to leave my dog a little while, I wasn't sure when I would be picking her up. Once I had my dog back, I called and asked to be picked up, and within 10 or so minutes, they pulled into the parking lot. The price was really reasonable too and I found out they are available 24/7. After reading reviews of Phoenix transportation options, I called Paul's Taxi. It was after 9pm, and I was forwarded to voicemail, so I hung up, and made an email inquiry for the following morning. I am not familiar with the area, and needed reliable, timely transport from a hotel to the airport, so that I would not miss my fight. Moments later, I received a call back from Paul's. The gentleman took my information and said he'd get me entered into the system. The next morning, I waited 10 minutes after the scheduled time, and no cab showed. I called, and the man who answered had no record of my reservation. He asked if he could check on his cabs and call back. I decided to walk over to the Discount cab that I saw in the parking lot across the road, to see if I could get a ride. But before I could cross the road, Paul's promptly called back, and said that he was sending a Clean Air cab to pick me up. When I asked how long, he replied, "within 10 minutes." He was apologetic, and so kind to arrange this. Literally, less than 60 seconds later, the Clean Air cab arrived. I got to the airport just in time for my departure. There is error with every company... It's how they handle it that divides the average from the excellent. I rarely recommend anything. But, I was highly pleased that when there was an error, it was resolved in a way that worked for me. I'm happy with Paul's Taxi. read more
