Thank goodness I did: at 7:55 am, I called to see when the taxi would arrive and was told in "in 10 minutes". I expressed displeasure but since I had built in extra time, I said fine with the delay. At 8:05am, I called again and was told "we have no drivers in your area. It will be 20-45 minutes". !!!!! Worst of all, her tone was so "Yeah, so? whaddya gonna do? sue us?". After speaking with Danny, the dispatch manager, I immediately knew this was the right selection...these people have the transportation business down to a science. Throughout the process I received prompt email/text communications during booking, with driver info, pickup/drop off location & time and flight status. Their vehicles are spotless & the drivers are personable & professional. Even at my 4 am pickup time, I received a text in advance of arrival and my driver, Lee, greeted me with a welcoming smile. To give you an indication as to what a tight knit group this is....Lee volunteered to take another driver's shift that morning because it was his daughter's birthday...what a great team. On my return trip, Jerry, who is wonderful, was my driver. He also happened to be the driver for my sister and brother-in-law which included transport of the all-important wedding dress and a quick re-route back to their home, after the initial departure, to pick up a forgotten item and still provided on-time arrival at the airport. We rented this bus for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday party and it did not disappoint. Sound system was great as we rocked out to our personal Spotify playlist. Absolutely loved and utilized both stripper poles. Probably not wise considering all of us were in our 40s and 50s. Once in a while, you gotta toss caution to the wind and just go wild. They had plenty of water and ice on board and they greeted us with birthday balloons and a carpet for the birthday girl to enter the vehicle. There were only 10 of us along with a cooler that we brought and some food but it could've easily have accommodated 18 to 20. This business could not have been any easier to deal with. During the call, the rep requested access to my phone to help me navigate the process. I allowed it and he proceeded to access my bank account and steal $975 from me!! He then attempted to charge my bank account through Uber $500 eight different times within the following hour. I have a bank statement, confirming this. The attempted charges come from Uber. I have contacted Uber on more than 15 occasions since the incident, never getting any real attention whatsoever. Instead, I always get an automated message telling me since the charges did not go through, they are closing the case. And just like that, I am dismissed! There is no getting a hold of a live human at Uber. It's all automated and it's all generic and nobody there cares about my situation. Needless to say, I will never recommend or use this company ever again. Ever. Uber is the most unprofessionally run business I've ever used in my entire life. My advice to anyone considering using Uber is to find a different service. This company is not worth giving your money to. They should be ashamed of themselves. They do not know how to treat their customers. They are unAmerican.

Yellow Cab has gotten me home numerous occasions, all safe rides and incredible how so many of the cab drivers know the roads without GPS. Kind of impressive. Sometimes cabs can be cheaper than rideshare if there is a surge happening. I like to mix up my travel just to try to other options out and to not get so stuck in certain ways of doing things. if you have the ability to book with anyone else, do so…read more medical arrangements, especially those with handicaps, take weeks to arrange. when we finally got on the schedule for a doctors appointment, we scheduled a 9:55am pick up for an 11am appointment. we got confirmation for the pick up day prior to the appt & day of. at 10:30am on day of appointment, still no sign of any driver, we called AAA Cab, and no driver had been assigned to us. when we tried to ask for more details, we were hung up on twice and no driver was ever rescheduled. disappointing to say the least.
