Despite that, I was later hit with a cleaning fee. Let that sink in: I was given a dirty vehicle and then charged as if I returned it that way. There was no walk-around, no discussion, no opportunity to address anything at the time of return -- just a charge after the fact. That's not customer service, that's a cash grab. This whole rental was already an issue. I reserved a Tahoe/Yukon months in advance, had corporate reach out to the pickup location two weeks prior, and still got the wrong vehicle. So to then deal with this on the return side just adds to the frustration. Between the lack of accountability, poor communication, and questionable charges, this location doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I'll be disputing the fee and taking my business elsewhere.

Almost always terminal 4. I like this terminal as it has a golf simulator in the pga store that I like to use when time permits. I also like the Guy Fieri Flavortown restaurant that is located in this terminal so I can grab a quick bite. They have a pretty good coffee shop called Sips that makes a solid espresso drink. I've enjoyed the Chik Fil A spot as well along with an açaí bowl spot. Overall I really recommend this airport, it's a perfect spot for a quick layover as the entertainment options are endless. So if your travel plans land you in Phoenix on a layover, fret not as you will be in good hands!

The attendants were friendly. After a few minutes we had our car. The outside of the vehicle looked like it was washed but not dried so there were many spots which made if difficult to see if the car had dings or scratches before we left. Upon stopping at our first destination, I noticed a few small scratches and a ding on the driver side's door but didn't think much of it. The car, a Hyundai Santa Fe served us well for the week we were in Arizona. Very comfortable for four adults and luggage. Upon our return of the vehicle, the attendant pointed out the ding and I explained that the car was not very clean and the parking garage was a bit dark which made it hard to see any dings until we stopped and were able to see it in the daylight. Thankfully, we were not charged any extra fees on our rental. I recommend looking over any rental vehicle for damage very carefully especially when it is hard to see because the car is in a garage that may not have the best lighting.
