Spotlessly clean. Very frequent, almost every 2 minutes therefore not crowded. Dropped us off at Car Rental place. Seamless. Definitely one of the better shuttles I've been on and I've boarded over a 100 in my life! Not many seats - mostly standing. Thank God I have good titanium knee replacements. LOL. read more

The PHX Sky Train is a nice relaxing ride to/from the Car Rental Center and the Airport. You can see the surrounding area around the airport and also Downtown Phoenix in the distance. Also, the panoramic scenes of the weather like the clouds, sun, moon, light and dark shades, etc. read more

I travel every week and have never had such confusion to get to the Rental Car Center. First I watched a train leave destined for terminal 3, which apparently was the one I was supposed to get on. Waited 15 minutes, got on the train that said 3, parking and rental car, then it went right back to 4. Apparently I need to get off at 3 and get on another train. No signs or announcements. Maybe it's an IQ test and I failed... UPDATE-apparently after 11:00pm the announcements on the train aren't accurate. They rely on a person on the platform to alert people of the "altered" schedule. Nice people, very poor communication and signage. read more

Easy, that's what Sky Train is. It took me about 10 minutes to walk from the Terminal 3/Gates B to the train stop. From there it was about a 15 minute ride to the rental car. Very convenient! read more

Umm... is this the best airport train I have ever taken? Honestly yes. The inside of the train kind of reminds me of SFO's although it is much cleaner. I loved the ease of getting onto the train and the fact that it came very often - every 3 minutes when I was there. I was also so impressed by how long the track was to the rental car area which felt like it was in a different city altogether. If this was the train system for the entire city, I would be incredibly happy. PHX's Sky Train gives me hope that America will maybe fix its public transportation problems. Or maybe not... The first step is havign this in all US airports, that would make me very happy. read more

Absolute disaster. We got in after 10 pm. Took skytrain to rental car center. The signage told us to get on the train heading to T3 and 24th street and then rental car center. But it turned around at T3 and headed back to Terminal 4. Someone was shouting something about "get off here" as the doors were closing but couldn't really hear. Back at T4 we asked a lady in a skytrain jacket how to get to rental car center. She said "can't you read?" and told us to do what we had just done. Same turnaround even though the onboard sign was pointing to rental car center.Finally found a nicer official looking person who pressed the call button and got the one person who knew the secret: at that time of night the system is in "maintenance mode" and you have to get off after one stop and take the train across the platform to get to rental car center. I guess the "world's friendliest airport" doesn't do signs. read more

Fantastically convenient service when traveling from Sky Harbor Airport. If you don't want to pay the now sometimes crazy Uber/Lyft fares you might find it much more convenient to park at the long-term lots and garages and take advantage of the PHX Sky Train. Just a short walk from the garage, you take the escalator up to the terminal area and wait for the train to arrive. They are usually spaced out just three or four minutes apart and will drop you off at any terminal. From there it is an easy walk to get to ticketing and check-in then the usual TSA stuff. It really is a lot less stressful than finding a ride to the airport, fighting the traffic at the departure doors. The trains services the entire length of the airport terminals. If you elect to park off-site there is a terminal off of Washington adjacent to other parking as well. PHX Sky Train is my preferred method of getting to Sky Harbor. A great addition to the airport. read more

Fucking blows I can not stand the train. Always running on its own schedule. Sometimes fast other times slow.

Genuinely one of the most hated parts of my day. I can count on my hand the number of times that this train functions without issues. Twice now the train has been running with issues where only one side is running continuously (that in itself is nearly a weekly occurrence) staff from the train will inform commuters that the next train is going to terminal 4 on the 24th st side, the automated computer will announce that as well the once the doors manage to shut (locking you in to the train) it will actually change the announcement and run the opposite direction. Which fine whatever but then to be basically laughed at by the staff at the next station is extremely frustrating. I understand that it's not the people standing on the platforms fault the train isn't running right but for people who's job seems to be to try to inform people where and what they should be doing when the train isn't functioning normally they seem pretty uninformed and honestly seem to take pleasure in other commuters upset. This is also extra frustrating because they recently took the train down overnight to preform "maintenance and improvements" only for the train to function worst than the other mess it previously had been. I can honestly say if you can afford to either park at the terminal you need to go to or using third party parking like the parking spot that will reliably shuttle you directly to your terminal, do that. Otherwise add an additional hour to when you plan to arrive, on the more than likely chance the train isn't function and you either have to wait or catch the 'sky train down' shuttles that also seem to have the same communication breakdown that the entire company seems to have. read more
