    Hyderabadi Mutton Dum Biryani

The Gobi Manchurian was overly seasoned, and the tandoor chicken was way under seasoned. We got the Hyderabadi Mutton Dum Biryani with medium spice but this was not spicy at all.

Delicious!! I was so satisfied! Butter chicken is with the hype. I never had Biryani before, so I tried the spicy seafoods option; surprisingly burst with flavors! Arrive was good, they are super busy! Ambiance is more of a take-out place. Though you can dine there.

I gave this place a try since I was tired of all the other Indian restaurants nearby, and they do have a large selection of items on their menu besides biryani. It's a small place, so don't go here for a dine-in experience. We ordered takeout, and it was ready really quickly, which is always good. We got the Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani, mutton sukka, egg hakka noodles, and gobi manchurian. I know ordering Indo-Chinese food from a biryani place can be hit or miss, but I gave it a try anyway. Surprisingly, the Indo-Chinese part of my order was pretty good, and I may go back here just to get that again. Biryani, on the other hand, was just about okay--not too great. Mutton sukka was also alright; it wasn't really sukka (dry), but it had a fair bit of gravy. Overall, I'd give this place a try if you are bored of other Indian restaurants in the neighborhood and want to try something new.

Got some delivery and everything was packaged well. No spills. Loved everything. The manchurian fish was so flavorful and delicious, a little on the salty side but I'd still get it again! The curries were both sooooo good! Butter chicken was creamy and delicious! Goat curry was spicy and tender! Would get delivery from here again!

My friend recommended Hyderabad Dum Biryani as an authentic chain for biryani, so we decided to try their Mountain View location. We got one Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani and one Paneer 65 Biryani, both with extra protein (chicken/paneer). The Chicken Dum Biryani was quite delicious - the rice has good flavors, and the chicken was very tender and well-marinated. For the price, they gave me lots of chicken. I was pretty satisfied with the chicken biryani until I tried the paneer 65 - it's omg-level of tasty!!! The paneer was probably the best I've had so far - spicy and savory, packed with flavors. I was shocked at how flavorful the paneer was, given how hard it is to marinate paneers. The rice in Paneer 65 also tasted more flavorful than the one in chicken dum biryani. This is the best biryani I have had in a long time and I'd love to try their chicken 65 biryani!

Worst biryani I've ever had . Just rice and some uncooked dried meat. Is that called Hyderabad biryani?

I bought a mutton biryani. It was pathetic. Rice was half cooked. Mutton was not fresh. Total waste!

There was plenty of outdoor seating, and the service was speedy. You order on a kiosk, which makes for a streamlined ordering process. The food is always solid - I love all of their thali selections. This location was much more peaceful compared to the Palo Alto location. I stopped by on a Saturday evening, and there were only a couple tables that were occupied. I will say I feel like the portion sizes here are noticeably smaller than those at the Palo Alto location. This might be because all of the orders are packed to-go, so maybe there's less space for food? For instance, the thali from the Palo Alto location includes a side salad, which was not included in my order here. The other sides (pickled salad and daal lentil), along with the entree, were also significantly smaller here. The prices are the same, so I do think the Palo Alto dishes are more worth it.

The ambience is average and service is average too. We had to ask for glasses for water, also needed to ask to refill the water. If the restaurant is busy I can understand that but when we ate - we were practically the only one there. So it wasn't the manpower problem - it is just a service problem. Coming to food. Pomfret was super good. Really well done. Briyani was a meh - I don't feel Bay Area has best briyani's anyways. I have had better Briyani in places like Seattle, Raleigh and Phoenix. The chicken 65 in Briyani though was pretty good - the typical Chennai style chicken 65 dyed with food colors . It was super nice of them to prepare filter coffee for us although it wasn't in the menu. Coffee was decent. The veg thali was also about okay. I didn't tried it but my friend did and that was his review. Their special goat briyani was decent at best - I was hyped up about it but to me.it didn't live up to the expectations.

It tastes exactly like the vibrant street food you'd find in Kathmandu or Darjeeling. The Standouts: * Veg Steamed Momos: These are perfection. The dough is rolled thin enough to be delicate but strong enough to hold the generous filling. The vegetable mix inside is finely minced, juicy, and seasoned with that distinct ginger-garlic punch. * The "Momo Achar" (Dipping Sauce): You can't talk about these momos without the sauce. It's a spicy, roasted tomato and sesame chutney that provides the perfect acidic kick to the savory dumplings. * Street Style Chow Mein: This is a nostalgia trip in a bowl.
