From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not only by the Inn's charm and character but also by the warmth and hospitality of its owner. Every room has been thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, the service is exceptional, and the food is delicious. We quickly felt less like guests and more like part of the family. One of the highlights of our stay was spending time with the owner, learning about the Inn's fascinating history and hearing firsthand about the dedication and craftsmanship that went into restoring this remarkable home. Walking into the Brinckerhoff Inn feels like stepping back in time. This beautifully restored 300-year-old house is a true treasure, lovingly preserved while maintaining all the comforts of a welcoming retreat. Located in the historic town of Fishkill, the Inn sits at the heart of a region rich in American heritage, making the experience even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. I did notice that when we were on the 2nd floor the rooms look like the pictures posted but are a little outdated, where the room we got on the 3rd floor, had a newly updated bathroom/ shower. 2 detractors: 1. No breakfast included, they have a restaurant in the lobby, but no room service or menu that's posted elsewhere other than the lobby. When we went to order they were out of many items and have odd hours of operation. So we had to factor many meals out during our stay. 2. Skunks! There are multiple skunks all over the property, we had to dodge multiple in the parking lot and they can be seen from the courtyard, and they were at the entrance! If you are not looking carefully, you could run into one!

The communication from A Perfect Blend in the year leading up to our wedding was wonderful--any question we had, they answered right away. Their online planning portal was also so incredibly helpful for figuring out exactly what we wanted for music and how the flow of the day would go! And when we finally got to the day, DJ Mario was amazing! He did a perfect job of blending me and my husband's music tastes and playing crowd pleasers that got everyone hyped and on the dance floor. He dropped so many bangers during our first dance set that our Best Man turned to us and said "this playlist is TOO good! I can't sit down!" Mario kept the reception flowing perfectly, and I was THRILLED when he handed me the mic for a little karaoke session. It was truly the most fun I've ever had! I would recommend Mario and A Perfect Blend to literally everyone--I hope I get to go to a wedding DJ'd by them soon!

I'd fully recommend this service if you're looking for a wedding or event DJ - they asked questions we wouldn't have thought of (age group of our guests - suggested where to do the cake cutting to make sure the dance floor didn't empty out, etc), which made our lives easier during this hectic time. 10/10 for sure!!!

We used durants for our wedding this weekend. Once arriving for wedding setup, we noticed that the walls were not included. We called the SAME lady (Michele) that we met in person, and she took NO accountability, claiming that we never asked for the walls and that she had no idea what we were talking about! So rude, and honestly so disappointing on their part. Rentals were also dirty and cheap! It looked like our white chairs we rented were used about 100 times and were NEVER cleaned. Dirt, mud, stains, tape on chairs, scratch marks. Some chairs were unusable, as they were so gross! Same with the tent walls! When they did arrive, they arrived dirty and were ZIP TIED to the tent! So ghetto. They had originally told us the walls could be raised and lowered on the tent walls. But the guy delivering the walls said that Michelle in the store LIED to us, and that they had to be zip tied to stay down. When we met in person at durants, we also planned to have everything delivered on friday before the wedding on saturday. We get a call the week of the wedding saying that they are dropping the rentals off on wednesday. We both worked wednesday and could not take off to be present when the rentals were dropped off. when calling Michele on the phone, she said we never settled on friday drop off (which we absolutely did).
