King suite had stains on the window blinds, bedding and floors were not vacuumed. The bathroom reeked of marijuana as did the hotel entrance.

Okay stay at a Hyatt House that has lost some of its luster. Quality seems to have slipped since my last visit. The hotel chain, which has updated its logo but not its furniture, no longer provides guests with complimentary bottled water, and the name brand toiletries are gone. This had been my go-to hotel for upstate New York travel. I love the location, which is across from a Super Walmart and within walking distance to the Hudson Valley Town Center shops, restaurants, and movie theater. Liz the front desk manager provided a warm welcome upon check-in, but a few unfortunate incidents soon followed. Cleanliness 3/5 First, upon entering the room, I did a quick cleaning with alcohol wipes and found a few hairs, one on the bathroom counter and one in the bathtub. This wasn't a "deep cleaning," either, so housekeeping could be a little more thorough. There was also visible mold above the shower. Housekeeping 2/5 Next, the housekeeper on duty refused to provide an additional towel to use at the pool because, "There are already towels there." I asked her again on my way to the pool, but she was adamant that, "There are already towels there." Pool 2/5 I was then annoyed to find only two towels in the pool area, both small and starchy, the kind you use to dry your face with. Note to management: There is no national towel shortage. The next time a guest requests an additional towel to use at the pool, please instruct housekeeping to provide one. Not only that, but the pool water was perfect for polar bears: absolutely freezing. This was a huge disappointment. When I brought this to Liz's attention she responded, "I'll call maintenance to check on this." I later heard a man open the pool door and yell to his wife, "The water is really cold!" Breakfast 4/5 While the hot breakfast buffet was okay, by 6:30 am guests from a trucking conference had overtaken the entire seating area, and someone was giving a long-winded speech about good apprenticeship while I secured my scrambled eggs. Since there were no available seats, I brought a plate of food and coffee back to my room. Several wedding celebrations were also being held at the hotel, which made the slow elevator wait somewhat tedious. Overall it was a pleasant stay at a Hyatt House whose painted walls and wooden furniture are showing signs of wear. I paid $150 including tax for a weekday visit and will likely return, but not before calling to ensure that the indoor pool is not being used by Yetis.

Quality rooms, excellent customer service in person and over the phone, and good location right off the highway. Many hikes, breweries, and attractions are a short drive away. I stayed here a weekend they had 3 hotel blocks and they were super organized and professional with bus coordination, welcome bag coordination, and other details.

More empty shelves at the market

We did have a pleasant 2 night stay here. Everything was very clean. Pool and hot tub well maintained. All of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. It was nice to get a complimentary hot breakfast, instead of the grab 'n go that we've become accustomed to. On site food and beverages were very limited. The market was practically empty of product. Fortunately there are many restaurants, liquor stores and Walmart nearby. Overall a nice average hotel without many amenities. But, for the price which included substantial Veteran discount, I would stay here again.

Two night stay 1/20-22/19. Friendly customer service upon check-in. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms, kitchen and a sizable living room with fold out bed. This accommodated our family of 6. My 2 complaints are: when we entered our room, I noticed one of the trash bins in the rooms wasn't completely empty. It had a lotion box still inside. Second, one of the restroom sinks had a slow drain. When I brought it up to the front desk the next morning they said maintenance would fix it. But upon returning that evening, the sink was still the same. It was a major inconvenience because the water would accumulate which was gross and drain out later leaving residue. What I enjoyed is the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast foods and the made to order omelet bar was great! Everything was always stocked and never messy. The location is convenient also. There's a Walmart, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and some places to eat nearby. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Overall stay was satisfying. We were pleased from the very start. We were pleasantly accommodated for an early check in on day of arrival. The lobby has the feel good vibes. Our room is spacious with kitchen as a plus. Our shower room is modern and updated. The bed and the coach are comfortable. Extra blanket and pillows were provided right away upon request. The price is very reasonable. It included a full breakfast and the omelette station is beautiful. Big parking lot. Easy access from the highway exit.

We stayed here 2 nights and really loved it! It was snowing outside and as soon as you walk in there's such a cozy environment with an awesome fireplace perfect for winding down or sitting and relaxing indoors. The staff was really friendly and everything was very tidy and clean. They have an indoor swimming pool, wish we would've brought our swimsuits! It's all good though we did enjoy their complimentary breakfast each morning. They had a nice little variety and Seattle's best coffee in the brew! Nearby there's a Walmart, a movie theatre and a small shopping center in case you need to run out and get anything. They also have a bar in the premises. The rooms are very clean and really nice. We stayed in a 2 room suite and it was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again especially since it's really close to Beacon where you can go out and get some drinks or eat really good food!

The front desk staff is very professional and welcoming to all. Went there for the AAA driver's course, being held in one of the meeting rooms off the main lobby. It's the small details; the HVAC was well modulate. It never got too cold or hot and stuffy. The carpet was clean and maintained, ceiling tiles clean. There is an impressive guest Breakfast buffet. Beyond the cold dry cereals and yogurts found at some motels. Waffles you prepare, scrambled eggs, pastries, to name a few. There is no onsite restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants and fast food places nearby. There's a small store with snacks and beverages next to reception. There was a wedding going on, I imagine in a ballroom somewhere in the motel. Some of the amenities are: a putting green near the entrance, well appointed fitness center, indoor pool, business center, free WiFi, an area with children's activities, covered and open air seating area. There are probably more that I'm unaware of.

On peak hours, the wifi will drop connection every few minutes for about 2 minutes at a time, sometimes longer, just to have it happen again a few minutes later. As one enters the suite, a sofábed and footrest are the first furniture on the right of the door. A refreshment niche with snacks, water, coffee, microwave and mini-fridge is on one side of the entrance area. Opposite are a desk and chair for work across the sofa. The jumbo jumbo bed is comfortable, but the pillows are too soft. Everyone in our group got neck pain. The shower is a little tricky with two body sprays of water on one side that shoots straight into the center of the shower. It takes a bit of thinking to know how to use the shower well. Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash dispensers are inside the stall. In the lobby, breakfast is provided in the morning, and the menu changes slightly every day. There is a bar towards the back of the lobby with limited amounts of cocktails and liquor. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I forgot my toothbrush and they gave me one. Just got a text message that I left behind a garment in my suite. They will send it to me via a third party for a fee.

There is absolutely no reason why this hotel doesn't have 5 stars. We bought this hotel hours…read morebefore we arrived because we wanted to stay overnight in the area and it was actually the cheapest. My husband bought it and I didn't really look into it until I was amazed at what I saw. First of all, when you get here - you realize there's a Walmart a block away across the street, a gas station you can easily walk to, and you have five guys and chipotle for fast food - I'm sure more but it was dark out, so I couldn't really see. So we walk into the lobby and it's pretty, very big area because it's also the dining room. They give us a map to park the closest to our suite. So we walk up the stars to our second floor suite and it's absolutely stunning. It has a living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The price we paid under $300 was unreal. I wish more hotels looked like this! They had a dishwasher for the dishes, closets, the sofa even had a bed to it as well. There was nothing upsetting about this place. They provide shampoo and conditioner that smelled decent. the only thing that's a little weird is there is no privacy on the first floor room, they have French doors with no curtains - so if you're staying with people, I'm sure that could be awkward - depending. We just had a great night stay and the bed/pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast was nice, there was all sorts of basic options from oatmeal to cereal to eggs and potatoes. They also had a variety of tea's. For the weekend people were trying to find tables, there is sofas around to eat your food, but who wants to do that? Might have to go back to your hotel if you want a table - it's a little apartment anyway, I'd rather eat with my family. The people at the desk were great. Just make sure if you have a lot of bags or someone handicap in your family that you let them know you need the first floor because climbing up the stairs will be a pain. If I could rate this place, I'd give it a 100/100. Besides hotels in Vegas, definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in!
