Chicken tikka masala. Vegetable korma. Garlic naan.

A perfect end to a challenging work-from-home day: I live within walking distance of Fritz's Family Brewery, and today Hurry4Curry's food truck was there. Fast, friendly, super fresh, flavorful. The chicken tikka masala was redder and deeper and less buttery than I'm used to, but it was rich and delicious. The vegetable korma had all the vegetables and a few I'd not experienced in the dish; a perfect complement to the chicken. And the garlic naan was literally the best I've ever had: fluffy and light with a perfect crispiness. Add a couple of Fritz's beers on a 70-degree evening and life. Is. Good.

Great, authentic food. The man is from Pokara and does a great job of putting that into his creations. Last night I had paneer tika massala, grabbed a drink, sat by the firepit at A1 in Lyons, and watched the Nuggets win game 4 of the finals. What a luxury.

It had high reviews so we decided to try it. The first thing I must mention, they don't have naan. It was a huge disappointment. The food was not flavorful or spicy. It was average. I expected this from a food truck but it's no better than any of the other Indian joints in Longmont. I won't be back.

Have been interested in stopping by here and checking this food truck out for a week or so, and finally stopped by for lunch today. Came in around 11:40 today. Was the only one there, maybe I beat the lunch or or more people need to find this place cause it's legit. Guy running the truck was very friendly. Took just under 10 minutes to make. I got the chicken tikka Masala, hot flavor level. It was sooo good. Very large lunch portion would be perfect for dinner. I hope more people give this guys truck a shot. I will be coming here frequently. Hope he doesn't move to another location.

The chicken soup dumplings, pork potstickers, and the ice cream was all very good! I wasn't such a huge fan of the tufu pork belly noodles. I'm not really a fan of tofu but I didn't really like the noodle dish in general. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and well designed. The wait staff was also very friendly. I would like to come back here and try more items from their regular menu.

Lately it feels like a lot of restaurants are charging more while giving less, and it's getting harder to find places that actually care about the customer experience. Unfortunately, this was another one of those experiences. We ordered three side dishes and three drinks, and the bill came out to around $100. Two of the three sides were served cold, the dumplings at least came out hot, but they were pretty mediocre and nothing I'd order again and drinks were extremely over priced. The waitress was fine, no real issues there, but it did feel like the food may have been sitting in the kitchen too long before it hit the table even though the place was empty. At the end of the day, it's hard to justify paying that kind of money for cold, underwhelming food, then feeling awkward about the tip because the experience just wasn't good. I won't be back. If I had known this is what the experience was I would have definitely gone somewhere else. As an added bonus I felt like crap afterwords, I think it was because of poor quality ingredients. My aim in writing these reviews is to highlight the restaurants and businesses that truly take care of their customers, to give people a heads up about the ones that clearly do not prioritize quality or the customer experience, and to express myself in a world where it often feels like there is very little room to speak honestly about paying top dollar for mediocre experiences. Very disappointing.

We got the Birdhouse Flight to start--guac, five-cheese queso, and their birdhouse salsa (a tasty, mild tomatillo). Seriously, it's the best way to start your meal. For dinner, we all had ramen. I went for the Hellfire with extra bok choy. This ramen is no joke. If you want something spicy, this is it. The chili sauce, flakes, and oil really bring the heat. The kids got the Tonkotsu, which was amazing as usual--great broth and super tender meat. I had my spicy ramen with a Juicy Bits from WeldWerks, perfect combo. Seriously, it's some of the best ramen and service around North Denver. Whether it's for a special day or just a chilly night. Birdhouse is always good. I totally recommend it!

So it was shocking that I found such a good bowl out here in Erie. I got the Hellfire Ramen, a tonkotsu-based ramen served with their house spicy sauce, chili oil, pork shoulder, and a soft boiled egg. The broth was rich and flavorful, the spice level was perfect (quiet hot but still maintaining a good balance of flavors), and the pork shoulder was tender but still has a bit of nice toothsomeness. Overall, this was an excellent bowl of ramen comparable to any of the top spots in Denver. The only slight downside is that the broth was just a tough too salty for my liking, and I would've preferred a soy marinated egg over a soft boiled egg. They have other ramen here was well, such as a chicken-based shio ramen, a regular tonkotsu, and a Thai curry ramen. I definitely would return to try the other ramen. If the other items on this menu is as tasty, I wouldn't hesitate to give them 5 stars.

The difficulties with are in my previous reviews. Now much of the facility has been torn down and the ongoing construction of the space to be city staff offices and the bigger space to be affordable housing had become impractical to use or eat at the restaurant. The noise was deafening. In January they moved to a food court on the Hill. This is a lower level of a building with other tenants. There are about 6 food kitchens and each time I have been here this summer and fall, this is the busiest at lunch. Since the seating is communal there is always space and it is clean. The staff here have been really nice. If I'm preparing a meal at home or supplementing leftovers, I have stopped by to get a fave vegetable, baby bok choy, steamed and seasoned and at an affordable side dish price. Today my husband and I walked down for lunch and ordered the Tuesday special street crepes some of the owners have continued from the long gone first owners from Beijing. As with other succeeding owners, they too have continued to use lettuce rather than the bok choy in the crepe. It also has some ham, scallions and crispy wonton bits and a nice spread of hoisin. It is topped with a sprinkle of black sesame seeds that I love. Another difference from the original is that the ingredients of the crepe itself are not well mixed together so many large patches of separate egg white and yolk makes it harder to hold together and not as pretty. But it tastes just fine but original years ago was addicting. I will continue to come here try more of the food from the current owner. I love beef noodles and have 2 other places I can get a good version but this is the most walkable for me. They do very nice prep for takeout which is good too. At lunch it is busy with CU affiliated students, staff and faculty alike. Every item I have had at Flower Pepper is hand made and prepared for the customer.

Uncle makes me want to move to Denver! To start the ambiance is really chill and inviting with warm lighting and offers countertop as well as table seating. Our server was amazing and explained the menu well and made some recommendations that did not disappoint. We ordered way to much food but I do not regret that because I got to try so many amazing dishes. Despite ordering so many options they even brought us a chilled tofu dish complimentary (no clue why but not complaining) and it was lovely! We shared the uncle salad (amazing!), thai shrimp, eggplant buns, several different nigiri/aburi nigiri and sashimi and the toro toro and spicy tuna roll. All of the sushi was fresh and had excellent pairing of accompaniments. The only dish that I remember being a miss was the soft shell crab buns. The proportion of bun to interior was off and there was way too much mayo. Everyone got their own ramen which they seemed to love. I ordered the Veggie Khao Soi per our servers recommendation and I am still thinking about it weeks later. It was a curry/ramen mix and had big chunks of trumpet mushrooms in it and the perfect amount of spice that I love. First impressions coming in, fairly busy, but the waitress was able to guide us to a table. Table was a bit dirty, but the waitress eventually came to clean it up. Ordered the Yushan Eggplant and the Chongqing Chicken. Had low expectations coming in, but it was pretty good. Eggplant is what I think of when I want Chinese eggplant. Has the classic umami soy garlic sauce and wasn't hard or tough like I've had in other places in Denver. The Chongqing Chicken was also tasty with a good crunch and spice. I think the only thing with the chicken was the pieces were fairly small and there was too much starch around each piece. Otherwise, solid dish. It's overall a great family-run restaurant. The waitress had a kid there too, and it reminded me of home in a way. Would come back again to try their other dishes, and definitely would get the eggplant again.
