The food showed up on time and we got everything we ordered. So that deserves the stars. The food...im still struggling from last night's dinner. The samosas were so hard and dry. The chicken was old, like it was microwaved from an old frozen bag. The pickle beans (or whatever) was so salty that I could not swallow. Everything was salty and their spice was strictly for heat, no flavor. Hopefully it was just a really bad chef day, but I will not be ordering or eating here again. read more

I used to have a different regular spot, but they caucasi-fied their cuisine (bland, lower spice level, etc). This place is legit. I had lamb korma, onion naan, and vegetable samosas. Fantastic. Love this place! It was a hot summer evening in Greeley, and cooking was not on the menu. I was a tough sell on Indian as I haven't really ever enjoyed it. We have since eaten there four times! TLDR - We've not had a bad dish! Chicken is always lean and tender. Spices aren't overbearing at all. Not terribly different than other Asian cuisines (in a good way), just a new mix of flavors. We usually like to each order a dish each and share family-style and share a dessert because they are all very unique and delicious. Stuff we've tried: Vegetable Samosa - it makes me a little sad when I have to share these. They are crispy on the outside and stuffed with a mix of delicious vegetables and spices. The dips you get are worth keeping the rest of the meal. Pakoras - Indian chicken nuggets. Spicy and delicious. I want to try the veggie some time. Masala, Makhani and Saag are different in their own ways, but all have a wonderful flavor with lots of sauce for your rice. The Tandoori is Earthy and spicy and is my newest favorite Naan - Flatbreads to nosh on their own or scoop up extra sauce. Are all delicious! Butter is a great start, but adding garlic makes it even better. Kheer rice pudding is my favorite dessert. The Banana Pakora was a unique treat. read more

Great Indian/Nepali cuisine! Great selection of gluten free and vegetarian dishes. We had Pakoras, Curry, Saag Paneer, Kheer, and Mango custard and all were excellent. The bar was also great! I only live 6 blocks away and will definitely be back often. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, service was prompt. The food is delicious. I've tried several of their vegan offerings and they are sublime, from someone who is curious about veganism! The in-person and pickup service is great-my food for pickup was hot and ready when I arrived. When eating in-person, the atmosphere is nice with attentive (but not over the top) servers. It's my favorite Indian place in Greeley. The Nepalese momos are delicious, as are the vegan masala's, the vegan saag, all chanas, samosas and naans. Delicious! Samosas were crispy and the papdam and mint chutney were amazing. Chicken tikka masala is the standard right? Tender chicken and creamy sauce. The eggplant bharta was creamy too with little peas- what a great addition I don't see often. Chana masala also yummy! So easy to order online. The lovely people who run the place are very accommodating. You can specify 5 levels of spice on everything online directly with the restaurant. I was nervous moving to Greeley because I would miss all the restaurants in Denver. Now I have a go to right down the road. So glad to have an awesome Indian restaurant in town. The description of this place does not do it justice. Family owned/run. Dishes are made to order and can be tweaked to suit your needs. Large selection of dishes that can be made suitable for vegans, and most also gluten free. Excellent chai and tasty cocktails. Select your preferred level of spiciness--the mild had no heat, medium was best for most in our part of five. And there is a spicy version that I might try next time. Don't be fooled by the modest exterior, the inside is attractive and comfortable. Very good service, without hovering or rush. My husband and I visited Bhansa after reading many wonderful reviews. I agree with all of them. The food is amazing. We ordered pani puri appetizer. It was an experience (yes, experience from pouring in a sauce to the texture in one bite) we both enjoyed. I ordered the Korma and my husband ordered the tikki masala.
